Great family vacation. Very clean and beautiful area! Pool is nice, and check in/out is super easy, and they have a pizza and coffee shop at the check-in building that is excellent as well. Our family had a great time!

Amazing vacation property

This property is a hidden treasure at Lake Cumberland! The layout of the house and the huge back deck gave us plenty of room to enjoy our vacation. We highly recommend this property to others and plan on staying again next year!

Off the Grid Relaxation

We rented this house for my family to escape and relax! It was the perfect home for us! Kitchen was one of the most week stocked kitchens! The house was large enough for everyone to spread out and relax! Beds were very comfortable! The decor unique, eclectic and fun! We would love to stay here again!

This is a wonderful house and location. We've stayed here for 2 summers in a row. You can easily get to the river from the house. Pool is a short walk (unfortunately closed this year to COVID-19-was opening as we were leaving :(. Boat ramp is very close too. Looking forward to another visit!

We enjoyed the house and all of the amenities. Very well equipped, clean, nicely decorated, and maintained. Property owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Store was full of unique items, home made goods, and essentials. Loved our stay here. The ONLY issue was that we thought based on pictures that there was direct lake access and ramp for boats, at the back/side of the house. Also, there was a picture of a fire pit and chairs around it in the backyard; this was not the case. There was a fire pit in the driveway that we enjoyed using. No hot tub either as previously thought. No boat ramp or walkway down to the water. No complaints, just was expecting those three things. We will gladly rent again from these property owners and really enjoyed our stay.

Nice but needs some tweaks

Nice private gated community but it takes 20 minutes to get up the windy hill to the house. That adds quite a bit of time if going places is part of your plans. For this caliber of a rental, I would expect zero or minimal difficulties/issues. The fireplace (January) took 2 people 15 minutes to figure out and be able to light- shouldn't be that hard. The ice maker should be as simple as "turn on" but again two people to try and see what the trouble was and then it took a couple of hours to make just a few cubes. At the end of two days we still never had a full container. The hot water was the worst feature as it was grossly insufficient for a house that supposedly could hold such a large crowd. First thing in the morning, no water ran at all yet and after the jet tub in the master suite was only 1/3 of the way full and the hot water was gone. Half of our crew either had to take a cold shower or no shower and washing the dishes was impossible in cold water. The oven was filthy. The jets on the whirlpool tub were suspect. Couch cover needed washed or replaced. No t.v.s in the bedrooms except master suite. This would be a nice place in warm weather as the backyard view on the deck and screened-in porch are nice. The basketball hoop would be fun for kids. The pool table was enjoyable and they provided lots of board games. The beds were comfortable and the house was decorated nice. Plenty of dishes, cups, silverware, and anything needed in the kitchen but providing more than one extra garbage bag would be helpful. The staff was friendly.

Amazing House!!

House was beautiful and tons of room and open floor plan was perfect for hanging out and eating. Conveniently located close to the pool and courtesy dock too. Owner was so responsive and even gave us a late check out when we contacted to let them know one of the people dropped their car keys in the lake and we were waiting for family to bring them 1/2 way to us. Lol. Key fob floaty is sold in the Marina gift shop. I highly recommend that $5 purchase! Hahaha!! The crew had the nest weekend!

Wonderful Spot

Came for a girls’ weekend and the property was great! Lots of room and activities. We came early before check-in and we were able to use the pool, which was clean and nice. Spent all day Saturday on the lake but the house was awesome to come back to and cook dinner. Would come back again!

Bait and switch

We arrived after reserving the above property and after driving 3+ hours. When we arrived Diana had switched us to a much smaller location that would not accomodate our family. They did this without asking us. We had booked the property 2+ months before. This forces us to find another property. VRBO was very accommodating and out us all (14 people) in a hotel for a night until we could find a suitable location. I cannot tell you the angst and TROUBLE this caused all of us who had travelled from states to meet. I do not recommend these property owners!

Wonderful area. The house was not the cleanest.

The couch was gross and desperately needs to be reupholstered. We covered it with sheets from the beds to feel comfortable setting on it. The pillows throughout the house were gross as well. Our booking was for 10 adults and 2 children for 4 days and yet there was only a total of 3 rolls of toilet paper and two trash bags and a tiny bottle of dish soap. We paid a lot to stay here we shouldn’t have to buy extra essentials. And if you are only going to provide one towel and one wash rag per guest, actually it was less than that, you need to provide laundry soap. Also, I know it’s how all these rentals work, but if you are going to require your guest to strip all the beds, take out all the trash, straighten the house back up and clean the dishes, you shouldn’t require a cleaning fee and especially a 10 am check out. This policy needs to change. And you only require beds to be stripped down from the fitted sheet and up, not the comforters or the blankets in the baskets, so nothing else gets washed? That’s nasty! Also many of the chairs in the kitchen are wobbly. The carpets need to be cleaned as well. This house needs some TLC!! The most ran down house we’ve rented.
