Situated on 5 private acres, Hedgefox is a family getaway & quiet paradise; very private, well apportioned, & comfortable. The home has a very open-concept first floor, w/updated kitchen appliances & a very nice eat-in bar, along with a booth-style family table. The kitchen flows into the living room, then to a formal dining room and ends with a very nice reading room. Lots of space to sit and relax. So peaceful, but also so close to Freeport, Rte 95, restaurants, and 20 min from Portland

Weekend visit to Yarmouth

We will keep coming back!

This was our third time stay at this property and we just love it! So much space, lovely open kitchen, and several seating options. Comfortable beds! We stay here because it is close to family, but is also an easy drive to Portland and Freeport.

Quiet renovated home in Yarmouth

Very nice renovated and expanded Cape Cod next to the woods in Yarmouth. Very responsive owner. We plan to stay there again when we come back to Yarmouth.

I grew up in Yarmouth, and this is our family home. I now live in Maryland with my wife and two children, and we visit Maine when we can. I am a teacher/coach at a prep school near Annapolis, and we are a family that loves sailing. We plan to sail to Maine in the summers.

Why they chose this property

I am renting this property so that we may keep it in the family, and so I may be able to give it my kids, who love both this home, and Maine. My daughter loves the quiet setting, and horses, and there are 2 horses on the farm next-door. My son was born in Maine, and in the winters I make a small ice rink in our front yard, and he's loves playing hockey....
This home is very meaningful to our family, and we try to keep the house and the land in great shape.
