About this property

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!! Rustic Quaint cottage that's been in my family since 1893.Bathroom pre dates indoor plumbing. it is very tight and small, not the best for larger folks...This is not a 5 star resort. If that's your thing this isn't for you! history and nature it is!
Must notify us about any dogs you are bringing and their is a 30.00 per stay fee

Ocean views on a mile around Island. ALL BEACHES ARE PRIVATELY OWNED.PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS!! THE ADJOINING ISLAND AND THE PRESERVE HAVE PUBLIC BEACHES. If you have kayaks they can be launched at the Warf on the east side of the island or by the causeway.
Open field for all sorts of games etc. A great island for small walks & {Mostly} friendly neighbors with spectacular night views of Portland and the stars with no light pollution. 20 min to Freeport for shopping and 20 min. to Portland for Night life, Dinning, Work. Etc.
Upon check out. please read note on refrigerator but also please make sure all items for trash and recycle and dog droppings are all bagged in bigger bags so our trash / maintenance guy can grab and the large bags and go. Failure to do so will result in a 30.00 fee if he has to come back and rummage through the trash cans putting items loose in cans into bags!!

Perfectly quirky house with views

Very chaming home with great views. Comfortable and relaxing. Perfect spot to walk around and explore. Surrounded by nature yet close to Portland. Would highly recommend

Peaceful with a view of the Bay

The place was just as described. It was very peaceful and had a beautiful view of the water. We traveled around to various lighthouses in the area. The place was very comfortable and perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Family Vacation

Our stay was lovely, start to finish. Communication with Brad was helpful and efficient. Property is as described in the listing, bathroom is tiny but a non-issue when you have the views, comfort, and amenities this place offers. The large living room and big cozy couches were great for the kids, the deck is quite large as it wraps around the back. A sweet view to the water down the hill and through the clearing. Incredibly rare spot for this price on LittleJohn - don’t think, just book. That’s what we did and couldn’t have been happier.
