For the amount of money we paid, and the quality of the house we were renting, I expected, upon entry, to find a thoroughly and impeccably clean house. Unfortunately, that was not the case. All of the linens were not put out for all the beds available. The bedding packet/bag for the couch pull out had obvious hairs on the pillow case. When we pulled the couch out, the cover that goes with the couch had hair and lint on it. Clearly they don’t wash this regularly with the bedding? And there was a toilet paper roll randomly on the mattress in the couch? So no one pulled it out and checked for that? I found a piece of popcorn and colorful cereal (neither of which we brought with us- so clearly left from other guests)under the couch in the main room. I realize one piece of popcorn isn’t a disaster, but it just shows they are not moving furniture and thoroughly cleaning the rooms each time. The last thing I noticed was the baseboards in the bathrooms… really dusty and would be easy to wiped down each time bathrooms are cleaned. Like I said, for the level of unit, these were all disappointing moments to find these deficiencies. I would like to request compensation, the cleaning fee price would be nice? Despite all of this, we did enjoy the house with all of its nice features. Of course the window and view is spectacular, they just need to “up the cleaning game” to match the level of how nice the house is.
