High Pointe is located 6 miles east of Seagrove in Seacrest Beach, next door to Rosemary Beach. This self-contained resort brings you all of the natural beauty of the Emerald Coast. Miles of sugar white sand, rolling dunes and natural sanctuaries. Bike, jog or walk along the 19-mile trail that runs parallel to the resort. Restrooms and a seasonal Gulf-front bar and grill, Crabby Steve's, are located in the gazebo on the walkway to the beach. An initial starter kit of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Perfect place for our family with young kids!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The first floor and proximity to pool entrance, beach with chair set up, and Crabbys beach bar were perfect for our family with two kids under 5. The unit was well appointed, decorated, and clean. Only thing we wished for were better bed pillows!

Our family had a great week at the High Pointe. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The resort has stepped up their security which just took a minute to get adjusted to and then it felt even more safe and secure. We can’t say enough good things about the community. Great vacation

We had a great time staying at this resort and in this unit. It is perfectly located and I will look at renting this unit in the future. It was stocked with all the needed kitchen utensils and was clean. The only issues we had was with the dishwasher door and one towel rack in the master bathroom. I reported it so hopefully it has been fixed. I recommend renting this unit.

Awesome place for our girls trip this year!!! We fought Irma and we prevailed!Can't wait to go back

I've stayed at High Pointe 4 times and am already planning a trip to come back! Our condo was very nice & clean. Only suggestion I have is that they rip the carpet out (it's only in the bedrooms) & replace with tile or wood. Carpet kind of dingy. The condo was a great size, beds were comfortable. As always, loved Crabby Steve's yummy food & drinks!! The water was perfect before Irma. Of course after Irma the waves were big and double red flag , but water was still clear! Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful complex and rental

The primary bedroom and bathroom were really nice and large. There were even plenty of beach toys, towels and boogie boards. We also loved the free chair and umbrella set up on the beach. My only complaints were with the beds. The primary king bed mattress was not comfortable and the 2 Queens were even worse with what seemed to be a hole in the middle of each. The mattress need to be replaced and maybe a new shower head in the 2nd bathroom. Loved the complex and pool. Would stay again if the mattresses were replaced.

High pointe first floor unit

Unit needed updating and some repairs. Internet connection was poor. Dishwasher doesn’t close properly. Kitchen faucet has no water pressure. Dryer needs new belt and is extremely loud. Television service is effected by poor WiFi.

Perfect Setup for Families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is on the first floor and right outside of the pool. We have young kids so it was perfect for going to and from pool and beach. Clean and nice place! Gated community and very safe! Very close to PCB and lots of restaurants/things to walk or bike to! They have a tiki bar and restaurant on site, which is nice! I would suggest owners getting a new toaster. The one there doesn't work. The wifi was very spotty-- maybe need a new router or bigger package for wifi to hold more devices; as eveything we do now is through wifi! (and cell service was weird there--Verizon). Overall a great stay and would def use again due to the location and easy accessibility!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great! The location to the pool was perfect. The grassy area was great for our kids to play in while we were at the condo. The walk to the beach was only a couple minutes. The location to the restaurant was convenient as well. The only issue was with the dryer. The dryer is old and some part of it snagged and pulled 3 separate clothing items. Not even strings or loose parts of the clothes. It would catch on a corner of the shirt/dress/shorts and that corner would get pulled, twisted and ruined. That is the only issue we encountered, but it definitely needs to be fixed.

Do not rent from this company!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No hot water for over 24 hours! We were told it would be fixed when we got there and it was over 24 hours! All you want is a hot shower after traveling. The master shower wouldn’t even turn on cold water. I had a baby that couldn’t nap and kids that had chlorine that wanted to take a warm bath. Unexceptable. Do. It rent from Benchmark.

Since the issue was with the hot water heater, we had to contact a 3rd party plumber to address the problem. We were able to resolve the issue while on your stay and after your departer we refunded you a portion of your total booking cost for the inconvenience. It is our goal here at Benchmark to provide our guest with a hassle-free vacation, we are sorry you feel we fell short of that goal. Convenient location, inconvenient check-in process.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit is amazing. First-floor walk in for pool and instant access to the beach. For the convenience alone, I would consider renting again. The condo itself is nicely furnished, but the amenities could be improved. There was no coffee filters or coffee for the machine, only one roll of TP in each bathroom, no tissue boxes and only no hand soaps at any sink. The carpet in the bedrooms also need to be cleaned, and there was popcorn under one of the beds in the double-bed room. If you arrive earlier than 4pm for check in, do not plan to get early access. You will not even be allowed into the gated property before 4pm, and you will have to drive/walk around with luggage, etc., before the unit is ready. Also, it is a good idea to bring your own laundry pods as the unit will leave you two laundry soaps and two dishwasher soaps. The property management states there are no beach towels/toys, however, there is a closet with a couple of boards, chairs, towels and sand toy sets for the beach. The unit also comes with complimentary beach chair and umbrella set up each day, with is really great.

It is great to know you enjoyed the furniture and the complimentary beach chair service. Regarding the coffee machine, we do not provide coffee or filters to accommodate the unique preferences of each guest. This information is included in the guidebook we send out a week before your arrival, as well as on the day of your stay, so you can pack accordingly. The toiletries are part of our complimentary starter kit and are not intended to last for the entire stay. We appreciate your comments about the bedroom carpet and will ensure it is either professionally cleaned or replaced. As for early check-in, we do offer it, but it is not guaranteed, as each unit must be cleaned and inspected before a guest's arrival. If the property is ready before 4 PM, guests are notified. The security team at this complex is strict but will confirm with us if a unit is ready for early access before allowing guests in. Extremely Disappointed – Last-Minute Change & Poor Communication

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this property through Vrbo back in November and were looking forward to our stay for months. They did reach out in November to ask if we had any wiggle room with our dates, unfortunately we did not but they said they would work it out. I had been in contact with the property manager in the weeks leading up to the trip, asking specific questions to confirm details and availability. At no point was I told that the property would be unavailable.Shockingly, I received a call one hour before check-in notifying me that we could not stay at the home we had booked. This was incredibly stressful and completely upended our plans.The alternate options offered were 6 miles away from the area we intentionally chose. This was a major inconvenience and changed the entire experience of our vacation. To make matters worse, they provided incorrect contact information for the beach chair rentals, and we had to spend over an hour on the phone rebooking our bike rentals to fit the new location.When the originally booked property finally became available mid-trip, we were expected to move all of our belongings again, with no offer of assistance or compensation for the disruption. No proactive effort was made to make things right or acknowledge the impact this had on our vacation.***the property itself was nice...yes, I would recommend the property, just not the management companyThis experience was incredibly disappointing. I’ve used Vrbo for years and have never encountered this level of mismanagement and lack of accountability from a host or property management team (to my knowledge, I was only dealing with Benchmark, not the owners). I would caution others to confirm and reconfirm details directly with the host—and be prepared with a backup plan.

Great location

Being on the first floor and facing the pool, it makes it easy to run back if you forget something. no need for bikes or car to get to rosemary and Alys beach. It is nicely decorated.

High Pointe is the best!

Amazing and beautiful for all ages!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing family vacation in this beautiful rental. It was clean, well designed and had everything we needed. We went grocery shopping and saved a lot of money making food at home for the little ones. The pool was right behind the place which made it so convenient for back and forth trips to the room. Also the access to the beach was great and it had a great view of the sunset. There was a restaurant/bar Crabby Steve's right there that was had great food and drinks. The property was well taken care of and so was the community. Lastly when we were tired of swimming we played at the playground onsite and walked around to nearby stores and restaurants. Thank you for such an amazing stay!
