BeachCrest 305 - Not what you see in pics

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The BeachCrest property overall was decent. The location, the beach area and chair service, the parking lot, and the pool area were all good. The issues we had were with the specific unit 305. I feel the pictures of this unit are deceiving and show an updated look, which the unit didn't look bad but the condition of the furniture and cleanliness were less than desirable. The floors clearly were not wet cleaned/mopped, only swept. After a shower, you walk barefoot in the unit and your feet will be basically black from dirt. There were drip stains on the floor and some cabinets of what appeared to be ice cream to start with. The LR furniture is very old, have been sun faded and there are stains on the chairs and kitchen stools. The furniture is not comfortable and all need to be replaced. The master bed squeaks no matter where you sit or each time to roll over when lying on it. Needs replaced. The bathrooms are tiny, master bathroom sink drains slowly, and shower has little water pressure. The closet door tracks in the master BR are rusty looking but were functional. The screen door to patio is not in good condition, hard to slide and screen is torn so will not keep bugs out in current condition. The laundry accordion doors need lubed so they don't squeak as well. I will say you get many notifications from mgmt co. asking how the stay is and how to reach out if you need anything. However, I chose not to reach out to the mgmt co. about these items because I felt there was really no recourse or action on these items that would make my stay better. Maybe they will make these updates and clean it better going forward for future renters. For the spring break price I paid, it definitely was disappointing and not worth the cost. At a lesser, normal rate, it would be easier to swallow the condition of the unit. I will not choose to stay here again.
