About this property

Dovecote of the 19th of 45m2, fully restored.

A PIGEONNIER completely renovated in 2015, on 3 levels:
     1st level: a fully equipped kitchen, outside, a space to take
                                 your breakfasts or meals.
      2nd level: living room with double sofa bed and bathroom / toilet. TV & internet.
      3rd level: mezzanine with matrimonial bed.
The layout of the dovecote leaves open access from one room to another.
We also offer for rent, a 19th century stone house for 6 people (reference 1822054) adjoining the dovecote.
Do not be surprised, in our village, without knowing you, everyone will say hello. Roquestéron's motto is "angulus ridet" meaning "a place where life is good". All is said.
You will find peace, serenity and .... bakery, butcher, supermarket, bar-tobacco, postal agency, etc ...
In the heart of the Préalpes d'Azur Regional Natural Park, you can enjoy swimming (200m) in the very pure waters of Estéron, walks in the forests, mountain biking circuits, canyoning (in exceptional sites) or climbing on world famous walls.
You like high mountains ... you are 120 km from the highest road in Europe (2802m) in the Mercantour National Park.
You like the beach ... you are an hour from Nice.
A few more kilometers and you can walk to Monaco, Cannes, Saint Paul de Vence ...
We accept stays of at least 3 days, however we encourage long stays by significant discounts in high (summer and public holidays) or low season. Even more: during the months of June, September and October we apply a constant daily discount of 25% followed by discounts for longer stays.
If you do not wish to do the cleaning, you will be asked for a participation of 50 € and a deposit of 200 € will be deposited on your arrival and returned after your departure.
In high season weekly rentals start and end on Saturday.

Lovely village house in the mountains

Lovely house. Very clean. Hosts very accommodating and friendly. Location is fantastic for walking and swimming in the Alpes Maritimes. Village very friendly with good bakery and butcher.

Nettes Häuschen in schönem Kontext

Es handelt sich um ein nettes Häuschen in einem lebendigen Ort. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Gegend ist herrlich. Besonders bemerkenswert ist der Fluss Esteron, der direkt am Ort vorbeifliesst und zum baden einlädt.

Rien à dire, le cadre est magnifique Roquesteron est un super petit village perdu mais avec tout ce qu’il faut en commerces de première nécessité. Les hôtes sont absolument adorables, serviables et à l’écoute. Je recommande vivement, c’était exactement ce que nous recherchions !

Sehr schönes Haus mit wirklich toller Dachterrasse. Roquesteron ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Mountain-Bike und Road-Bike Trips. Eine echte Alternative zu den klassischen Mallorca Fahrrad-Trainingslagern. Außerdem haben die einen super Metzger, von Alain & Nadine ist das Entrecote sehr zu empfehlen. Auch Vorbestellungen per Telefon möglich (z.Bsp. Poulet). Tolle Bar im Ort mit Boulodrome vis a vis. Arnauld als Gastgeber super nett, das Gleiche gilt für seine Eltern, die in der Nähe wohnen. Kommen gerne wieder, waren 10 Tage über Ostern dort.

nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette bien jolie maison...Le propriétaire est toujours disponible, très gentil et de bon conseil! Ses parents qui nous ont accueillis sont des gens charmants, ce fut un plaisir de les rencontrer! Quant à la région, c'est tout simplement magnifique, le village est chaleureux, les commerçants très sympathiques et avec de bons produits!!!Bref pas une ombre à ce tableau de rêve, nous reviendrons c'est sûr, merci beaucoup Arnaud!

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Dörfchen ist wunderschön und einsam gelegen. Die Vermieter sind supernett und auch die Wohnung ist schön. Die Möbel sind ein bisschen zusammengewürfelt, aber auch das hat Charme. Das Haus ist schön restauriert und die Dachterasse ein Traum

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à ROQUESTERON avec notre petite fille. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les parents d'Arnaud. C'est un couple très sympathique. La maison est superbe et agréable à vivre, nous avons adoré. Le village est magnifique. Les commerçants et habitants ont le contact facile. Nous avons pu discuter avec eux et ils nous ont donné des idées de sorties. Si vous aimez l'arrière pays niçois, nous vous conseillons sans soucis cette adresse. De notre côté, c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons passer une semaine dans ce petit village. Amicalement, Ghyslaine, Didier et Lilou.

Repos les pieds dans l'eau

Nous sommes venus pour la 2nde fois dans le pigeonnier de Roquesteron, nous avons autant apprécié la location , le village, la baignade dans l'eau fraîche de l'Esteron. La région est très belle et permet de belles randonnées. Enfin l'accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux. Un grand merci à Arnaud et à sa famille

Verwunschener Ort in den Bergen

Sehr geschmackvoll restauriertes altes Haus in einem bezaubernden Ort in den alpes maritimes 1h Autofahrt von Nizza entfernt und schon eine ganz andere Welt, an einem herrlichen Fluss gelegen. Die Beitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wer die bergige Natur liebt und es abgeschieden mag, sollte dort hinfahren.

Joli petit gîte très fonctionnel, confortable dans un village charmant, au bord d'1 belle rivière.

Un village à la fois tranquille (loin de la foule touristique) mais vivant : boulangerie, boucherie, café, épicerie, poste, docteur et même une petite Médiathèque. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, adorables, disponibles de très bons conseils. La rivière est splendide. Beaucoup de possibilités de baignades, promenades dans l'eau ou sur sentiers. Une belle nature avec une faune et une flore préservée. Très beaux paysages. Les routes sont parfois étroites mais réservent de belles surprises. Un conseil allez manger à l'Auberge Le Charamel à Le Mas, un endroit qui semble au bout du monde. Une belle découverte Encore un très grand Merci à Arnaud et ses parents pour tout.

Jolie maison sur 3 niveaux amènagée avec goût et tout le confort Terrasse avec belle vue appreciée A proximité endroit tres agreable pour se baigner dans l'Estéron sans prendre de voiture Les proprietaires qui habitent une maison en face sont tres accueillants et tres prolixes en conseils pour nous guider sur les bons coins oú aller( randonnées,baignades,restaurants) Le village est animé avec sa boulangére,son boucher,le bar café ouvert chaque jour de l'année et son petit marché le mercredi matin Tres belle region à visiter Nice est à 1 heure de route quand l'envie d' un bain de mer nous prend
