An exclusive villa suspended between sky and sea.

Overlooking the Bay of Citara perched above Poseidon Thermal Garden, in Forio d’Ischia, la Giroscopica is a villa built on two separate floors surrounded by a terrace with cotto tiles and a garden. Two external stairs join the two floors. The view extends from the light house of Punta Imperatore to the white Soccorso Church. In front of the villa just the sea and the island of Ventotene in the distance.
A path (100 metres) leads down to the Villa, from the main road at the Belvedere in the Cuotto area.
Shady gazebos, sunbeds and umbrellas among palm trees offer areas of quiet relaxation. A thermal water pool (please don't jump into) and a natural sauna are available. Facilities also include wi fi. A security deposit of €400 is asked cash at arrival.
Each en-suite double bedroom – which have recently been renovated – has its own independant access. The villa can accomodate up to 12 persons and is also rented on an exclusive basis. The architecture is typically mediterranean, bright and practical. Cleaning and change of linen at the end of the week are included in the price. Extra linen or cleaning service can be provided at a cost of €10 per hour.
Restaurants, shops including a chemist, an ice cream laboratory and bus stop are on the main road. The villa is 2.5 km from the town of Forio and 1 km from the beach of Citara.

The pool is open from April to October.

Beautiful views from a lovely house and garden

Wow what a fantastic place. We had a wonderful week in Ischia and this house was no small part of the experience. The house feels light, airy and very clean. The views are stunning. The pool and garden are in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. Local shops provide you with great fresh produce and essentials and there's a parapharmacy nearby too. The hosts are very friendly and live part time next door so are on hand if you need anything but also discrete enough to leave you to enjoy your holiday.

Sono stato ospitato in questi giorni presso questa villa che mi era stata segnalata come dotata di ogni confort. A parte la superba accoglienza ricevuta e lo stupendo panorama che hanno costantemente allietato il mio soggiorno, devo farvi partecipi dell'intenso piacere provato, immergendomi ripetutamente nelle acque termali calde della piscina privata, alternando le immersioni con la sauna fatta nella grotta sottostante. Il tutto in un ambiente tranquillo, e piacevolmente "familiare", circondato da una vegetazione ricca e piena di profumi. Ambiente e scenario per una vacanza veramente riposante e serena

A beautiful villa in a wonderful location

This villa provides beautiful views. There is plenty of room for 12 with all rooms having en suite bathrooms. The outside area is over a couple of terraces with the top one having the pool, lovely and warm. There is plenty of different seating areas and shaded areas for everyone over both terraces. The whole outside area is beautifully planted which adds to making this villa a lovely place to stay.

Gorgeous place for a holiday

Stunning location looking out to sea and seeing the sun set. The pool and grounds are lovely, well maintained and plenty of space and sitting areas. The villa was well equipped.

Un paradiso in terra!

Non potevamo chiedere di più per la nostra vacanza in famiglia. Sono felice di avere trovato un posto così incantevole sull'isola di Ischia. La casa si trova in una location dove puoi ammirare tutta la baia di Citara. La proprietà e' quasi interamente nascosta dal verde circostante e la stessa montagna che l'accoglie. Le sei camere della giroscopica sono dotate di tutti confort e perfette per una vacanza in famiglia o fra coppie soprattutto se si tiene a mantenere una certa privacy. La piscina e gli spazi esterni ti fanno venir voglia di non uscire più :) - cornici ideali per lunghe serate in compagnia e barbecue di pesce. Alessandra e il suo collaboratore Noel sono stati disponibilissimi con qualsiasi richiesta prima e durante il soggiorno. Non potrei che cinsgliare questa villa, che è più di una semplice casa dove trascorrere le vacanze..e' un posto dove ti sentì subito a "casa". Spero di ritornarci! Valentina M.

Amazing sunset at the pool!

One of the most astonishing villas of Ischia, with a marvellous garden, a thermal pool with sauna, just right on Poseidon beach, in a perfect position to enjoy the sunset drinking a cup of Prosecco! Perfectly mantained by the nice and kind Bracale's family, definitely recommended!

Come iniziare un anno nel modo giusto

ciao a tutti sono da poco rientrata da un soggiorno vacanza con amici, con i quali, lavoro permettendo, mi riunisco per visitare nuovi luoghi. Ischia la meta di questo San Silvestro ospiti della sig.ra Alessandra in villa "la giroscopica". La proprietaria si é dimostrata una persona disponibile e ospitale, la villa arroccata sopra i giardini poseidon immersa nel verde e con un panorama a picco sul mare. L'allegra compagnia era formata da 12 persone, ogni coppia con la sua stanza ed il suo bagno, a me é capitata nella parte superiore della villa, una sorta di miniappartamento con bagno, balcone e terrazzo vista mare. La sig.ra Alessandra ha messo a disposizione la piscina con acqua termale, che a dirla tutta é scontato che abbia fatto la differenza su tutto il periodo del soggiorno; ci siamo concessi delle lunghe chiacchierate e aperitivi immersi in piscina, con un tempo non propriamente estivo, ma in quella piscina sembrava essere ai tropici. La presenza della sig.ra Alessandra si é resa fondamentale per la preparazione quotidiana della piscina che andava riscaldata è registrata per avere una temperatura ottimale, ancora grazie. Oggi posso affermare di aver trascorso quattro giorni di relax in piacevole compagnia in una bella struttura gestita da persone eccezionali, grazie di tutto ed a presto vederci!

posto incantevole

luogo incantevole dove trascorrere la vacanza ideale con amici. Vista mozzafiato mentre sei in pieno relax nelle calde acque della piscina. superlativo lo spazio con il pratino adiacente alla piscina con vista mare per poter dedicarsi al fitness. La villa al suo interno dispone di tutti i confort necessari per poter trascorrere e trasformare le tue vacanze in un sogno. pulizia, comodità e confort della struttura eccellenti .

Meraviglioso

Sono stata in questa villa per una piccola vacanza di qualche giorno dal 4 all'8 Dicembre, assieme alle mie amiche. È un posto incredibile. Le foto non rendono la bellezza del luogo. L'emozione di stare in pieno inverno in una piscina calda, guardando un panorama mozzafiato... Per il resto la casa è pulita, ordinata, accessoriata di tutto il necessario e ben riscaldata. Spero di poter ritornare prima o poi durante i mesi estivi!

Una settimana da sogno

Desidero condividere la mia esperienza estremamente positiva presso la Villa La Dimora di Zoè dove ho soggiornato per una settimana lo scorso giugno. Curatissimo, bellissimo... Purtroppo é difficile non usare dei superlativi! La proprietaria, Alessandra, molto cordiale, ha una barca che mette a disposizione con il marinaio per fare il giro dell'isola!! Anche il marinaio che ci ha accompagnate era gentile e ci spiegava man mano tutto quello che vedevamo! Dalle foto la villa sembrava bellissima... ma vederla e viverla è stato ancora più emozionante! Il clima purtroppo è stato un pò ostile, riservandoci qualche giorno di pioggia, ma durante le giornate di pioggia abbiamo goduto della piscina termale e della sauna... Che dire? Un paradiso. Di certo l'esperienza più bella della mia vita!
