Enjoy the first rays of the sun having breakfast on the large south terrace, before going laze around the heated pool while the children have fun with the games available to them on this fenced plot. For lunch and dinner you can protect yourself from the heat of the Aquitaine sun by making yourself comfortable on the covered terrace on the north side. From there, you can admire the view of the Bastide de Domme, classified "one of the prettiest villages in France" and, in the evening, see the lights of the citadel come on one by one while you prepare a delicious barbecue. We take care of housework, linen is provided, weekly cleaning, the pool and garden are maintained. We also provide you with a table tennis table, a bowling green and six mountain bikes. Internet access. Home theater plasma screen satellite TV, high-end household appliances. 2 garages.

Très bel endroit pour un séjour en Famille

Idéalement située pour visiter la Dordogne, avec une terrasse couverte offrant une vue grandiose, une piscine chauffée et des équipements complets pour un séjour en Famille. Merci aux hôtes d'avoir permis l'accès à ce lieu !

Excellent séjour

Nous étions 3 couples, les grands-parents, les enfants et les petits enfants. La maison est vaste, très agréable, belle, avec une vue magnifique, une piscine dont tout le monde a profité. Tous les équipements sont impeccables. On avait tout ce qui fallait. Nous avons pu visiter tous les jours les châteaux, villages, grotte, jardin, sans faire plus 15 à 20 mn de route, (sauf Lascaux 2) ce qui était bien commode avec les petits enfants de 3 ans. On a eu un peu chaud au début, mais il y a des ventilateurs indispensables à l'étage. Le temps est devenu plus clément au bout de 2 jours. Bref, tout le monde est ravi.

Top !

Séjour très agréable dans cette région magnifique et pleine de découvertes à proximité. Vue splendide sur le village de Domme avec parfois des balais de montgolfières. Maison spacieuse avec de bonnes literies et de bons équipements. Lors de notre séjour nous avons apprécié le calme des lieux, la terrasse couverte et la terrasse en contrebas avec la piscine. Durant la semaine des températures extrêmes (40oC) nous ont permis d’apprécier les ventilateurs à disposition mais la climatisation aurait été appréciée. Sans oublier la gentillesse de notre hôte d’accueil Sylvie disponible et réactive tout au long du séjour. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir et nous reviendrons pour continuer de découvrir la région (activités, tourisme et surtout gastronomie).

Parfait! Je recommande!

La maison est magnifique, calme, avec des équipements de qualité (belle piscine, vélos, table de ping-pong, terrain de pétanque, balançoire, grand terrain). De quoi s’amuser à tous les âges! Région exceptionnelle, avec de nombreux chateaux à visiter, et des belles balades en canoë & kayak. De belles soirées en terrasse, avec vue imprenable sur Domme et les montgolfières. Tout est conforme à la description de l’annonce. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire et la personne chargée de l’accueil. Le séjour était extra, merci! C’est passé trop vite, mais on aimerait revenir 😊

Nice house in the outskirts of Cenac

A nice and clean house on the outskirts of a small town. It was a new build house on a residential road with a camp site at the end of the road. Nice pool although smaller than usual for a property with 2 families staying. The house was very clean and basically furnished. Lots of padlocked cupboards which is fine. The entry was via the basement garage up some stairs with insulated/plyboard stairs which was a shame and the front gates were padlocked so we had to lug our cases up the narrow basement stairs via the garage. Beds were comfy. There was a noisy buzzing from a boiler type machine next to upstairs bedroom. We asked what it was and if we could turn it off but were told to simply shut the cupboard door - but it took a big slam to shut and even then would open again. Fans in each bedroom would have been nice. There were only 3. Overall a nice house and good value but we would not stay again.

A recommander

Outre la proximité géographique des commerces et des sites touristiques, la vue magnifique de la terrasse sur la citadelle de Domme, la fonctionnalité de la maison et de ses équipements sont très appréciables et ont ravis les petits comme les grands (balançoires, table de ping pong, terrain de pétanque et une grande piscine). La location est plus que conforme à l'annonce. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et gardons de merveilleux souvenirs dans cette maison.

C'était parfait

Belle propriété au calme et située dans un très bel environnement, avec une magnifique vue depuis la terrasse. Tout y est pour passer un excellent séjour ; juste un petit bémol par rapport à la température de la piscine qui était trop fraîche.

15 jours merveilleux passés dans cette maison qui fut largement à la hauteur de nos attentes. Grand confort, équipement de qualité, nombreux espaces pour petits et grands. Vue exceptionnelle. Ein schönes Haus mit leichten Schwächen in beeindruckender Umgebung

Sehr gästefreundliche Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthalts. Das Haus ist recht ruhig, aber auch nicht zu sehr abseits gelegen. Raumaufteilung, Ausstattung der Küche und Bäder, Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen sind top. An einigen Stellen hätte es sauberer sein können. Der Außenpool ist wirklich schön, das Mobiliar dort aber nicht (Liegen unbequem, keine Auflagen, Schirme nicht standfest, Fliesen wenig rutschfest). Das schmälert den Gesamteindruck, nicht jedoch, dass dieses Anwesen eine Empfehlung wert ist!

Family stay in French Villa

A beautiful house in a wonderful setting. The charm for us is that this was the real France. We found it refreshing that this was a real French holiday spot and the villa was a wonderful and relaxing setting with a wonderful view.

Beautiful, spacious, well-cared for home

This home is ideal for big groups - lots of sleeping space, lots of outdoor lounging space and a well-stocked kitchen. Owners were very gracious and helpful, especially when we had a hard time finding the place. More specific directions would be nice - we were given lat/long coordinates and I don't know how to plug those into Google Maps!

Excellent base for exploring and feeling Dordogne charms

Excellent in all aspects. Location is perfect for exploring Dordogne main landmarks, and also very close to supermarkets, bakeries etc. The only warning is that if you follow the GPS indications you may end up at a military surveillance station :) Very clean and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a nice bonus for the unusual hot days at the end of August 2017. And of course the view towards Domme is the cherry on top, especially when the top of the old town barely gets above the surrounding mist. Thank you for the wonderful stay, hope to get back some day.

Wonderful location

The House has wonderful views looking towards Domme. Early morning and at dusk, hot air balloons can be viewed from the balcony. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and has everything and more, to make your stay comfortable.

What a delightful property in an outstanding quiet location,with wonderful Views to Dome and the surrounding countryside Large terrace to enjoy alfresco dining,the grandchildren just loved the heated pool and kayaking down on the river. We hope to return again next year for our 3rd visit.

Dordogne at its best

Gorgeous house in a lovely part of the Dordogne. Spent the week there recently with family and it worked really well. Highlights - were an excellently set up kitchen, quality of place and fittings, space/gardens around the property and of course the lovely view to Domme from in and out of the house. Suited young kids really well too. Again, can't really fault it in anyway and hope to return one day.
