This house is older, it’s not perfect, but for the price you can’t beat it. You can easily access anything you want to do in Chattanooga in 15 minutes or less from this property! We would book this property again.
We came, three friends, to Chattanooga to see Les Mis, an incredible show. We loved staying here. It was a perfect location. The living room was very comfortable a great dining room, nice kitchen, two bedrooms that were comfortable. Nothing fancy but perfect for the price. Front porch definitely needs some help. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The communication with the owner was fabulous.
The home was great for my sister and I. It is within walking distance of the river, downtown and the aquarium. There was limited supplies in the home like garbage bags, coffee filters, and dish cloths. I would suggest bringing backups!
Just a cool experience! Conveniently located near everything we wanted to do in Chattanooga. Front porch was enjoyable in the evenings too just sit and swing. We'll definitely be back!
Perfect for walking to aquarium, art district, and some solid bars and restaurants.

North Chattanooga
Perfectly located Craftsman cottage near great restaurants and shops, with downtown easily walkable via pedestrian bridge. The photos on the site were not consistent with what was found at the house. The front porch was sorely lacking any invite. Window coverings were meager with very thin drapery. Bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint and the kitchen cabinets are in need of repair. Departing instructions indicated that used bed sheets and bath towels be placed on the dining room table, which did not sit well with us, especially since a full washer and dryer was easily accessible. We put those items on top of the washer, instead. The total house needs a little TLC and a good cleaning. Lots of potential with a little more effort.
I really enjoyed my time here with my sister. I truly loved the coziness of this home . It was walking distance to downtown with wonderful restaurants and the bridge over Tennessee river, be sure to travel the 1.7 miles over the bridge for more great food and shopping . Will definitely stay here again.
Very well kept cute house in a good neighborhood....very close to things we wanted to do. It was clean and had tons of charm. The host was the best!!! I Would absolutely live there not just visit again!!!
Very clean property, easy check in and just minutes/walking distance to north downtown! We will certainly be back.

Needs safety updating
If safety is your number one priority, this is NOT the house for you. At least five windows did not lock. The front door key pad isn’t one that can be changed remotely so not sure if the door code is ever changed between guests. There is only one smoke detector in the house. Other smoke detectors have been pulled off of the ceiling. There is no carbon monoxide detector. The UTube TV service did not work that the welcome sign stated could be used by renters, but you can log into your own streaming services. Now for the positives. The house is in a good location. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils. It has a washer and dryer. It is a quiet neighborhood.
I am not sure who has written recent positive reviews- maybe friends and family of owner? We arrived after a hot day of checking out local attractions looking forward to relaxing in the AC and getting a shower. The property was FILTHY, to the point we decided not to stay. It wasn't just one area, but the whole house. DISGUSTING. Attempted to contact owner, still ZERO RESPONSE. Left after 5 min, scrambled around and found a motel downtown. Dirt and hair everywhere- bed, shower, dresser, dishwasher, fridge, sofa, floors, sink.... Really screwed up our much-needed getaway. Cobwebs throughout. Even a DIY project going on that was just left. Not as pictured. Poorly maintained. Have stayed in VRBO's for 16 yrs and have never encountered anything like this. Believe this is the first negative review that I've ever written. As if we were not expected and absolutely no cleaning had taken place for 6 months or longer (would take a while for that kind of filth to accumulate). It is not uncommon to find things imperfect in a rental property but this was absurd. Such a shame because the home has such potential and is in a desirable area. We are pretty understanding but there was no way that I even wanted to sit down, much less spend a single night there. Even smelled like BO. Writing review to share my experience but also to warn potential renters. Took many pictures and could have taken countless more- no shortage of opportunities to document dirtiness. VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED.
Great little house, close to things to do. House had lots of character and beds were comfy. Property manager was very responsive. Would stay again.
FYI, kitchen isn’t super well equipped if you planned on doing a lot of cooking, which we didn’t.
Overall it was a great value. The location was fantastic - walkable to almost all activities (if it hadn't been so hot!). My toddler loved going for walks in the neighborhood. House itself was fine, though be aware of the steep/uneven concrete steps up to the house and tight driveway (would have been very tough with two carseats). Had everything we needed.
We were in town for an ultimate Frisbee tournament. We had a couple of free hours and enjoyed an easy walk downtown. Lots of great shops, restaurants, a park and a huge pedestrian bridge across the river.
The home is very cozy and had everything we needed!
I was in town for Ironman race with Ross Landing as the transition location. This was a great place to be. Close to race venue and many restaurants and shops walkable. 2 blocks from the run course
Location was excellent. In walking distance to to Frazier St restaurants/shopping. House was comfortable. Cleanliness could be better. Baseboards and ceiling corners were dusty and had webs. BF and daughter complained about the beds too soft but I didn't have a problem.
