Welcome to The Federal House! This classic Westside Bend home is fully furnished for your Bend getaway for summer or winter activities! Located between downtown and the very popular Galveston and Newport Avenues. This is one of the best locations in Bend and a prime location to explore all Bend has to offer!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Just two blocks from 10 Barrel Brewing and Sunriver Brewing, and only a 15-minute stroll to downtown Bend! You will be staying in the hip Westside neighborhood between Galveston and Newport. Grab a brew at a local brewery or groceries from Newport Market to enjoy the kitchen at home!

HEATING AND COOLING
The Federal Home is equipped with central heat and central A/C throughout the home. You will be the perfect temperature no matter the season in Bend.

SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS
The Federal is a 3-bedroom home with 2 queen beds (1 Temper-pedic and 1 spring mattress), and 2 twins in the third bedroom. A Pack & Play Crib is also provided for your little one if needed (bring your own baby sheets). Extra blankets on hand to keep you extra cozy!

KITCHEN AND DINING
Granite countertops and updated appliances welcome you to the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped kitchen for your meal prep. We will provide some basic oils and spices to get you going. This classic eat-in kitchen comfortably seats up to 6 folks. The outdoor patio table also seats 6 and comes with a propane BBQ for grilling your favorites! A high chair is also provided

BATHROOM
There is one sturdy bathroom in this home so come prepared to share! The bathroom has lovely granite countertops and lots of storage for your own items. There is a tub/shower combination for all your bathing needs.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Outside you'll find a private backyard equipped with a propane BBQ. Check the garage for a back up tank. Enjoy your summer meals at the backyard table. A large locked garage is also available to store your gear year-round.

PARKING
You will have your own private alley parking spot with room for 2 vehicles. Additionally, there is plenty of on-street parking in front of the home.

PET-FRIENDLY
The Federal Home is a pet-friendly home with a fenced backyard. Please note that the backyard fence is about 4ft tall. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.

You have access to this entire private home, including the garage, for your stay.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This home is nestled into a lovely residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside enjoying the decks, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors. Stay here!

The house is clean and comfortable, and living areas feel spacious. Two bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and the third room has two twin beds - looks like it would be great for kids. There is a small fully fenced yard which was ideal as we had our two dogs with us and made it so easy to quickly let them out just like we do at home. Location is great - walking distance to town through Drake park as well as 10 Barrel and all the great places on Galveston. Quiet, clean neighborhood. We booked last minute as we were staying in another rental that didn't turn out to be as advertised and we chose to relocate. Everything about the rental process here was seamless and easy and we were SO glad we ended up here, it saved our vacation. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great house and awesome location!

We had a great stay and loved being so close to everything! The back yard was perfect for our dog and the neighborhood was really quiet, but still close to everything. Definitely recommend!

We live in Boulder Creek, CA, near Santa Cruz, deep in the redwood forests. We started visiting Bend in 2008 when our son and his wife moved here. Since then, most of our daughter-in-law's family has moved to Bend, and we've visited many times. With every visit, in different seasons, we saw more of the town and the area, and the more we experienced, the more we loved it. We love the sunny weather, the gorgeous river flowing through town, the constant striking views of the snow-capped mountains, the beautiful old houses, the friendly people, and the abundance of good food, drink, and entertainment.

This family purchased this home after lots of searching and then learning a Bend grandbaby was on the way!

This cherished family home is the homeowner's basecamp for family and grandkiddo visits! Lucky to have found a home in one of their favorite neighborhoods...It's walking distance to family, to all of the stores, restaurants, and bars on Galveston and Newport, downtown, and the river and Drake Park, and it's on a lovely, quiet, tree-lined, street, with friendly neighbors. It couldn't be better.
