After a day of exciting adventure & sightseeing, relax in comfort with plenty of peace and quiet at our cozy cottage, located one block off Century Drive (the main road to Mt. Bachelor and the Cascade High Lakes) and right in the heart of the extremely popular west side of Bend.

Our beautiful, comfortable, westside cottage offers a fully furnished, 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with deck, hot tub and a very private, secure back yard. Our rental sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen bed upstairs. A full modern kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Linens and towels are supplied. Internet and antenna TV. A DVD library, books, games. Washer and dryer, gas heat, air conditioning and all the comforts of home are provided for your convenience.

You are within walking distance of numerous brew pubs, restaurants, delis, beautiful parks, downtown Bend, Starbucks, grocery stores, ski shops, video rentals, spas, ski and bike rentals. We're within minutes of the Hayden Homes Amphitheater (previously known as the Les Schwab Amphitheater), a water park, skating pavilion and the popular Old Mill Shopping District!

The best thing about us is we're Pet Friendly!

Our back yard is private, secure and fenced and is perfect for children and/or pets. There is a hot tub on the back, covered patio. A gas BBQ is located on the patio. The back yard also has a portable fire pit. Firewood supplied.

Juniper Aquatic Center - Public Pool: Juniper Aquatic Center, located approximately 3 miles from our rental offers swimming, aerobics, weight lifting, children's pool, lap swimming, etc. It is open year round.

Pets: Doggie bags are supplied. Pet Dishes supplied. Spare leashes supplied. Blankets for pets to lay on, supplied. All sizes and kinds of animals are permitted. $40 non refundable pet fee required.

Rock Climbing
Smith Rock State Park, a popular rock climbing site is approximately a 30 minute drive from our rental (Terrebonne, Oregon), or the Three Sisters Wilderness area located in the Cascade Lakes area, is approximately a 30 minute drive from our rental.

Museums
The High Desert Museum and the Deschutes Historical Society are both popular destinations for people interested in the history of Central Oregon and Bend history.

amazing property, great location but quiet neighborhood. easy check in and hosts laid everything out. I LOVED that they had a cute little doggy basket and a large sheet for my dog to use. it was nice to have access to the garage as I was repacking from camping. house was clean, welcoming and instructions were easy. thank you!

Very cute house in a great neighborhood of Bend! Close to downtown, river trails, etc. Quiet neighborhood and extremely private backyard. The hosts welcomed us and our dog, and quickly came to our rescue with a household emergency! Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay in perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Bend! The hosts are extremely thoughtful in the amenities and supplies provided, the house was very clean when we arrived, and check-in info was easy to follow. The private hot tub is also very clean and well maintained and was great to have after a long day of hiking. The house is in a great location to be able to walk to many local places for food/drinks as well as a very short drive/Uber ride from downtown or the river. We didn't bring our dog, but the place is very well set up and thoughtfully appointed for pets if you do! Overall a wonderful experience and we would gladly stay there again!

Great stay

Everything as advertised- cute spot with private backyard, excellent location, great neighborhood. House is cozy and a little quirky but feels homey. Backyard is private with clean hot tub. Dogs loved hanging outside and they even provided bowls and a couple of dog toys. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our little spring break getaway at this rental property. Went hiking every day and had a nice place to come 'home' to. And it was nice to be able to take our dog with us. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Relaxing stay

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home. It's very cozy and well maintained. It meant so much to us to be able to bring our fur kids with us. We truly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend your home for a quiet get away.

Perfect Bend Getaway for two plus a dog

Everything we needed was thought of and provided at the house. 2-person hot tub jacuzzi was clean and the enclosed covered patio was great to hang out in and let our dog roam around. A/C worked great on the hot days too! We loved this place! Great neighborhood. Even provided a garage! Safeway is nearby for groceries, and it’s within walking distance or a short drive to lots of great restaurants/cafes/food trucks: The Victorian, El Sancho, Dump City (dumplings), 10 Barrel Brewing, Sunriver Brewing, Good Life Brewing, Deschutes Tap house. Easy drive to Shevlin Park too. We plan to stay here again!!

Couldn't ask for more

This house is in the perfect location for visiting and touring around Bend. Walk to the River Trail, many parks, restaurants, breweries etc. Very pet friendly and our dogs settled in like they were right at home. The yard/patio is very secure. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Having the garage was perfect for storing bikes and gear. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and Bob took great care that is was tended to. We were sad to leave.

Quiet, private, comfortable, well located and responsive hosts!

We spent three weeks at Pine Cone cottage, and loved it for many reasons. The location is perfect for exploring a yoga studio (6 blocks), Dharma Center (10 blocks), Safeway grocery store (10 blocks) and resturants (3 blocks). There are hiking trails a 10 minute walk or a 10 minute drive. The owners Theresa and Bob are kind, quite responsive and helpful with questions or concerns. Bob brought over a fly swatter when a pesky fly got inside. The little cottage has everything we need: excellent beds, comfy living room recliners, a well appointed kitchen, well stocked bathroom, reliable WiFi, and our favorite…a wonderful private back patio with both sun and shade, perfect for reading and eating lunch and dinner. The fountain and bird feeders were felt just like home. The outside space was perfect for enjoying Bend’s exquisite summer weather. Quiet, private, comfortable, well located and responsive hosts made for one our best rental experiences.

Sweet house...too many rules

Prior to our arrival Theresa was super easy to work with and accomodated us when we added an extra day. Once we arrived the house was much nicer than the pictures and the location is fantastic! The backyard appears to be private and the hot tub is a nice addition, although we didn't really use it(more to that later). We would recommend that Theresa replace the bed in the master, as it is very uncomfortable and the bedding needs a serious update. Now to the negative...all the snarky signs and the giant book of rules. It is apparent that the owner has had some crappy renters based on her need to have rules for everything. However, as someone who has rented MANY properties over the years I found all the signs to be over the top and made us feel like we were a nuisance rather than an income generating customer. The rules reference the next door complaining neighbor multiple times, which made us uncomfortable even enjoying the backyard. There are also numerous signs about cleaning up after your pet. I think one would be sufficient. Also in the rule book it is noted that Bob will be stopping by weekly to check on the hot tub. We were not given a specific date and as a renter we should know when a service man is coming. We would recommend having a set day of the week, so the renter knows specifically. Overall we hope this review is taken as constructive criticism from a responsible couple that would love to rent this house in the future, but we would like to feel welcomed.

DRIED BLOOD ON FLOOR, OWNER PEEKED THROUGH WINDOW

The placed seemed very nice, but about 30 minutes after we got there, we noticed little thick spots/pools of blood on the floor in the main area. I contacted the renter through vrbo app saying there was blood. Before i could even open her message saying someone would be over, there was an older man at the door. I was just changing so didnt get to the door immediately and before i knew it there was the older man, peeking over the fence through the kitchen window. He was hollering so i zipped my pants up and went outside where he was. Without asking, he went in and started looking around. Used a swifter to mop it up and asked us if he got it all. Never apologizing once. We were trying to get ready to leave for a concert we just drove 4 hours to get to, he hung out trying to converse before we politely skooted him out and were late to the show to boot. Im firstly very disgusted and suspicious of the blood. I knew it wasnt our blood or our dogs, we had just got there and it was very dry. The way it was handled made me feel even more creeped out bc i was nearly naked with a man trying to look through the window. Not a good experience.
