Punch in your electronic door code and walk into this spacious 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Condo on the south end of Amelia Island! Set up on the third floor, it offers birds-eye views of the tree canopy and Red Maple Lake from it's private balcony. Just across the street from beach access and steps from the tranquil complex pool, 2024 Beach Wood's location is truly idyllic.

Whether your visit is for a couples getaway or a family vacation, 2024 Beach Wood has everything you need! It boasts an open floor plan with an updated, fully-stocked kitchen, dining area that seats four, and living room furnished with large, comfortable sofas. Cable television and high speed WiFi are available for the modern traveler.

Excitingly, the Main Bedroom is quite unique compared to others in similar Beach Wood properties. The owners have knocked out a wall to open the room up, enlarging it into an impressive Main Suite while still providing ample closet storage. The bathroom vanity now provides his and her sinks in addition to the walk-in shower and toilet room.

The Second Bedroom has a Queen Bed, wide closet, recliner for late night reading, and an attached full bathroom. Both the Main and Second Bedrooms have TVs for channel surfing.

Located in the popular Beach Wood complex, one of the condo's best assets is it's convenient location. In addition to it's proximity to the beach and pool, the main resort is only a few blocks away up a shaded path (perfect for the professional attending a conference there) and the Shops of Amelia Island Plantation are a 4-minute bike ride away. This quaint shopping village has an array of boutiques and restaurants. There's often live music and community events on the weekends.

Guests will enjoy The Plantation's highly-regarded, easily accessible walking trails, which wind through the oceanside and marshside of the resort. There's also a luxurious spa, nature center, putt-putt course, and chapel on the resort. Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach is a 15-minute drive north on the island. This charming historic district serves up many high-quality dining options and shopping experiences.

For the golfer, there are courses right on The Plantation as well as mid- and north island.

Please be advised that this property is not a rental through Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.” It's important to note that there is restricted access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park to only club members and their guests. Excellent beach getaway.

We loved our stay on Amelia Island. The Omni Beaches weren’t crowded at all and the walk through the forest to get to the beach was nice and shaded. The pool near our condo was the perfect place to cool off after a trip to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

This is a clean, well maintained property. The only downside is that the property owners do not pay resort fees to be affiliated with the Omni Resort, so you lose that piece of the vacation if you stay here. If you are not interested in attending the Omni special activities for children or the Omni pool amenities then this is a perfect place to stay. Check in was easy and the property had everything we needed. It was well stocked, clean, and centrally located.

Condo was nice-kitchen was well stocked. Tons of storage. Master bathroom a little challenging but functional! Bathrooms could use heavy cleaning! One problem was the lack of shelf or someplace to put products inside shower. Both showers lacked shelving. But all in all the condo was great with good location. Pool was fabulous and deep. Would not hesitate to book again.

Long walk to beach

The condo itself was nice. It could have been a little cleaner, but it was not bad. The walk to the beach was a lot longer than expected by reading the reviews. It was a shaded boardwalk for the most part, but it was a long walk carrying chairs, umbrellas, etc. we wound up buying a beach cart. It helped, but it was still quite a walk.

Great stay with a few minor problems

WE loved the location and balcony of this property. The master suite was GREAT! I had to mop the floor when we arrived. The rug is the living room also needed some cleaning, but I couldn't get out the stains because it is so old. The living room furniture was very old and somewhat smelly. I used a lot of Febreze. Fortunately, the wonderful management company taked to the owners, and these minor problems will be corrected. Destination Amelia is a terrific management company.

Great location and pretty property

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. You can't beat the location. I loved the nearby pool surrounded by gorgeous oak trees and the walk to the beach was easy. If you like nature and a beautiful park-setting, you will like this property. The condo is basic but it had everything we needed, even some beach towels! I had one question for the property manager and he got right back to me. I would definitely stay here again. I thought the price was very reasonable for the location.
