Delightful second floor 1 BR Amelia Surf & Racquet Club condominium that sleeps 2. Two pools or a short walk to the ocean out the front door. Miles of beautiful sand beach. 4 artificial clay tennis courts on the property. Public golf course 5 minutes away. Free wi-fi, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, washer & dryer in the unit. The sheltered deck is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Ritz-Carlton is 1/4 mi up the road. The Omni Amelia Island with shopping, restaurants and Spa is 2 mi south. The town of Fernandina Beach is 5 miles north with it's quaint Victorian homes, interesting museum, Fort Clinch, cobblestone streets, and delightful restaurants. You could fall in love with this place just like I did.

Relaxing getaway with wife

Rental unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay amazing. Beautiful views of the ocean from everywhere in the unit. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

Loved our Stay!

We have stayed at Sandy's condo multiple times. The condo is always clean and we always enjoy our visit to Amelia Island so very much! Sandy always takes great care of us. The condo is well appointed and great for making meals to take down to the beach! The view is awesome! We'll be back!

Lovely condo

Lovely property, rented bikes and got to ride on the lovely shaded tree path every day. Saw the roaming peacock in the neighborhood near. Very clean and comfortable bed. Nice pool area as well

A month at the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our month at Sandy's. The condo was everything we hoped for. The view was killer! We spent a lot of time in the comfy chairs at the window enjoying the amazing view! A short walk enabled us to take advantage of the beautiful sandy shores of the Atlantic.

the condo is clean and well furnished. the king-bed is very comfortable. shower was clean and well maintained. clearly, sandy takes pride in her ownership. i would rent this condo again and highly recommend it.

It’s All About the View

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this condo. We sat on the balcony every day looking at the ocean waves and at night the sound of the ocean was so therapeutic for us! It was nice to have a slider door in our bedroom that could be opened with a screen in it so we could get the fresh ocean air while sleeping. The condo was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The complex was quiet and we loved walking on the uncrowded beach every day.

Perfect Stay, I loved the sunrises

Sandy is an exceptionally gracious and communicative host, making our stay both enjoyable and effortless. Acess to the beach was very easy and we spent much of our time there. The condo itself is wonderfully comfortable, offering an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean that truly enhances the experience. During our month-long stay, we took full advantage of the well-appointed kitchen, which was, without a doubt, the most thoughtfully equipped we’ve encountered in over 15 short-term rentals. We also appreciated the property’s no-pets policy, which added to our comfort. With convenient amenities such as easy parking, an elevator, and a dedicated trash room, day-to-day activities were seamless. We would gladly return to this lovely spot in the future.

Great Getaway!

Clean and cheerful unit, exactly as described. Outstanding ocean views above the dunes from living room and bedroom overlooking balcony. Very nice upgraded and well-equipped kitchen. Spacious bedroom, comfortable linens. Nice quiet location. I felt extra safe with it being a gated community. Short walk down the boardwalk to the wide beach, & pool was nice, clean and conveniently located. Rounds are well capped and there are numerous walking paths nearby. Owners were helpful and very easy to communicate with. Property management also very helpful. Hope to return again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy’s home away from home. It was well cleaned and stocked, centrally located and had a beautiful view of the beach. We loved our time on Amelia Island. Perfect balcony view

We had a great week staying here. Location to the beach is perfect and beach equipment was in excellent condition and so nice to have. The balcony was where we ate breakfast every morning. The sunrise was spectacular! When we weren’t out and about, we were definitely on the balcony!

Owner is very accommodating

We went to Amelia to celebrate my husbands birthday and our anniversary. Unfortunately Helene hit 2weeks before we were scheduled to arrive. We had some damage at home and were considering canceling. We arrived and the weather was cloudy and rainy and in the middle of our vacation Milton was going to hit Florida. Sandy was kind enough to give us a partial refund. We would definitely rent from her again.

I love to travel, play tennis, golf, snow ski, hike, play cards and board games. I love to visit my Amelia Surf and Racquet Club condo, walk on the beach, read, golf. Looking out the front window I don't see another building, just the ocean and the beach. I feel like I am on my own private island. It's my little home away from home.

Why they chose this property

Amelia is an undiscovered Island on the Northeast coast of Florida. Very little traffic. Wonderful restaurants. Great beach. Quiet and peaceful. Only 30 min from the Jacksonville airport, so it is easy to get to. It's a nice change of pace.

What makes this property unique

I love having a great grocery store less than 5 min away. The town of Fernandina Beach has wonderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My favorites are Sliders for lunch and Baxters for dinner, both about 5 min down the road.
