Gorgeous view of the water. Loved the old New England feel of this cottage. I could feel the family history in its walls. Would have loved to know more about the family who owns it. Bathroom has been renovated but if you are looking for very modern this isn’t it. It was our perfect vacation place.

Thank you for opening your family home. It is hard to find an affordable vacation cottage in New England on the water. For many years we went the Ocean House in Watch Hill and the Castle Hill inn in Newport. The property did not disappoint with absolutely beautiful views and beautiful birds and serenity.

Fantastic vacation. Location was perfect. Great views of Hog Island. It was so peaceful and quiet. The house was comfortable and large enough if we had gotten rain, we would not be on top of each other. All the amenities we would need were there.

The property was perfect. The views were magnificent, day and night. I lived in Portsmouth for over 40 years and the only wildlife I saw was rabbits and the occasional coyote. During our stay this week we saw deer every day !

This cottage was just what we had hoped for. It was well equipped, a quite location and just a short drive to Newport. Our weekend schedule was packed with family activities, so we didn't get to just relax and take in all the peacefulness of the tranquil setting. We want to come back and just relax, listening to the waves, watching the activity on the bay and curling up with a book and a glass of wine and watching the spectacular sunsets. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Maureen and Bob
