Gianicolo holiday house is a delightful and accommodating apartment with a complete wrap around balcony overlooking a central courtyard on the hillsides of the Janiculum area, just 500 meters from the monumental Fountain of Acqua Paola where you can view the most breathtaking scenery of all time: Rome
Just a 15 minute walk to Vatican and city-centre or bike your way through if you prefer. Public transport is available just outside apartment. It is situated on the 1st floor in an elegant historical building in the heart of Trastevere, making it a strategic place to reach Rome's trendy nightlife and at the same time is located on a very quiet side-street away from any noise

Awesome flat in Trastevere

This is a wonderful location for a vacation. The apartment is clean and well equipped with all you need for a great time. Downstairs is a store open till midnight if you required anything. The bar just below the living room window is fantastic, they serve great meals and are very welcoming to all whom enter their doors. They are open late and serve cold beer and great drinks. The apartment comes with a Nespresso machine that makes a great cup of coffee. In fact I was so impressed with it I am buying one for myself as soon as I get home. The host Alessandra is wonderful and very accommodating. The area is filled with activities within a walking distance, great food and drinks in every place I tried. This flat is highly recommended.

Nice apartment in perfect location

We loved to stay in this apartment during the Christmas days. Alessandra was very nice and had prepared some food and Christmas decorations. Everything worked well and the apartment was well equipped. We would like to come back here some time.

Great neighborhood, walking distance to Vatican, Jewish Ghetto, restaurants and very nice stores.

This is my first experience with VRBO and I was very pleased with the process and the apartment unit. The building is located in a very trendy neighborhood with many stores and restaurants. I was able to walk to all of the historical sites or take the Tram a few stops. I loved being able to eat at a different restaurant everyday. The unit was very clean and spacious and so was the building. If you are ever in Rome, this is a great place to stay.

LOVED ROME, LOVED APARTMENT, LOVED ALESSANDRA

After multiple flight delays, we arrived in Rome exhausted in the middle of the night. Alessandra stayed in touch with us and greeted us at the apartment even at such a late hour. She made us feel welcome and at home. Alessandra is such a kind and caring person. She was so thoughtful and accommodating to all of our needs. The apartment is lovely and in such a wonderful and lively neighborhood. I would recommend this rental to my friends and hope to stay there again. Alessandra, thank you for making our visit to Rome so special.

Appartement super, accueil chaleureux : le bonheur

D'abord un grand merci à Alessandra pour sa gentillesse et son accueil !!! Un appartement très bien situé pour visiter Rome, très agréable et confortable. Une propreté irréprochable et qui plus est au calme : après des journées de visite c'est très appréciable. Alors n'ayez aucune hésitation vous serez bien accueilli !! Idéal pour un séjour inoubliable

L' appartement est idéalement situé proche du centre-ville et également facile pour se garer ou prendre les transports en commun. Il ne manque rien, les lits sont très confortable et la résidence est très calme.

I falled in love with this apartmnet at first sight.
It is located in a well-preserved historical and elegnat building of '900th century equipped with a vintage elevaotr and a balcny wrapped by plants and flowers.
The building is located in a very quiet area away from the bustling alleys of Trastevere.
the thickness of the the walls of the house ensure its freshness in summer and warmth in winter.
The neighbors are quiet families living there by generations that's why I ask my guests, maintaining peace and silence in the common areas
