Great location, cute and compact flat perfect for exploring Rome. Only downside was we were there for a very rainy few days and the flat was quite cold. Would not be a problem in warm and dry weather.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Host communication was good, but overall was not very comfortable. The kitchen lacked utensils to cook with, the shower was very small and the bed did not have a good quality mattress or pillows. The neighborhood was not a bad location, a half hour walk to the Vatican or Colosseum and there were plently of options for good restaurants.

Dear Guest, thanks for your time in reviewing our property! It would have been helpful to know during your stay that the kitchen wasn't equipped enough for your standards, so we could have helped you to find what you were looking for or we could have addressed these potential missing items. With regards to the mattress and pillows, you will understand that comfortability it is a totally personal opinion :) Lastly, we would like to point out that the property is located in one of the most iconic
neighborhood of Rome: Trastevere.

Great little studio. It’s very small but was perfect for what we needed. It has a cute terrace and the inside has good AC. Would recommend.

Cozy Studio Stay
Pretty tiny studio apartment with a lovely interior balcony. Location in Travestere could not be beat. Communication was a little difficult leading up to the stay as you are met in person to be let into the apartment. Overall comfortable but cozy stay.
There cannot be a better stay! Simply darling all around, I always felt safe. The hosts took so much time to explain and make sure all needs were met. Truly so perfect and romantic! Cannot recommend enough! I will be back most certainly!!
We enjoyed this apartment! It is very small but has what you need. Only complaint is that shower never got warm so water was always freezing and the shower is super small. Otherwise, comfy, great neighborhood and AC! :)
Best location we could think of!Every time we saw another rental in Rome, we said “ours is way better!”Perfect neighborhood to walk around, so beautiful and romantic. The room is definitely small. Easy to trip walking around the bed, and you need to be on the same sleep schedule, but it was a lovely place to stay for 4 days. (Any longer and things might be too close for comfort)The simple Italian old neighborhood views out the windows made for enchanting meals and moments.
Exactly what we needed. Perfect location. Adorable terrace. The day we got in the shower broke and they answered so quickly and fixed it right away. Wonderful communication
We had a lovely week here. The location is top drawer, exactly what we wanted, in the heart of Trastevere, not far from Ponte Sisto so very easy to get into Rome on foot. The apartment is very nice, well equipped and clean. Thanks!

Thank you so much Thomas, it has been a pleasure to have you here 😊
The hosts were so kind as to set us up with a car at the airport and meet us there to give us the lay of the land. Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The apartment was the perfect little home base for all of our explorations. We couldn't get enough of the town, walking around and people watching each night became our favorite past-time. A cozy space with everything we needed to adventure out. Will definitely be back next time we are in Rome!
Nice apartment but very small and the bed was low to the ground. Not a lot of space for luggage and storage. But we were out all day and didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Something to keep in mind. the location was beautiful and a nice view
We can’t thank Stefano enough for meeting us when he did! 😜 Apartment was everything we needed, since there’s so much to see and do we literally just needed a place to rest our heads! (And FEET!!) Stefano was even helpful enough for these first-timers with basic guidance during our stay. 👍👍

Thank you so much for your review Tom, you've been wonderful guests :) come back anytime!
This apartment was great for a short stay, not sure I would suggest it for any longer than a couple nights. I generally rent places that are privately (family/individual) owned and can see the difference with this property which is managed by a company. While communication and directions were all clear and great, the apartment lacked personal touches and considerations for items mainly for cooking and cleaning. The location in Trastevere can not be beat though, so it depends on what you are looking for .

Thank you for your review Marina, I believe that our apartment represents the perfect synthesis between those who love places full of personal touches and those who prefer a more minimal setting for their holidays. All the kitchen tools are provided for a 2 guests' stay and under the kitchen sink there's everything you need for cleaning. Hope to see you soon again!
Location-wise, this couldn’t have been a more perfect spot. That said, it was extremely cramped and had very minimal amenities. There were barely a full set of cutlery, plates, glasses, or other basic things to go around. There was a single wine glass (and two cheap plastic cups) and a single espresso cup. We ended up not really doing any eating and had to go out for food/coffee.
The photo of the balcony must have been taken from inside the actual apartment because there is barely enough room to maneuver around the table to sit two people, but once you’re there it’s an amazing and serene courtyard presence and we loved relaxing out there (although you got all of the cigar and cigarette smoke coming up from the courtyard below into the balcony or windows if you left them open).
The mattress felt like a trampoline and the shower head was broken so the entire stream of water poured out of one side like a hose but it got the job done.
Overall, probably wouldn’t book again, but for someone who doesn’t mind a tight space and is ok with not really doing cooking or spending much time in the flat, it’s a great spot.

Dear Max, thank you for your review. The apartment is a small studio flat in an ancient building in the heart of Trastevere that maintains the original architectural features of the building and it was completely refurbished a year ago! The apartment is very popular both on Vrbo and Air Bnb! Since the apartment is suitable for only two people, we decided not to overdo with cutlery and plates (we thought 6 pieces of everything was enough not to fill up the space in the kitchenette). We have also thought of providing polycarbonate wine glasses (which are not cheap at all believe us!) instead of traditional ones as glass is more delicate, it breaks often and could compromise the health of our guests who could get hurt. The comfort of a mattress is a completely subjective thing, other people found it amazing. The size of the balcony is more than enough to have a comfortable breakfast overlooking a centuries old courtyard (pretty rare in the center of Rome by the way). What I'm trying to say is that we make big efforts, we are caring hosts who care about their guests' well-being, trying to give them the best possible experience on their roman vacation. I'm grateful you gave us 4 stars, we will take your review as an opportunity to clarify the nature of this apartment to our future guests: it's a studio apartment in an amazing location, it's small but cozy but most importantly it's full of love!

3 nights in Roma
My husband and I took a trip of a lifetime spending about 3 weeks in Italy! We flew threw Roma stayed at a different Apartment on the front end of or trip. Which was a great apt and we loved our time in Rome! This particular apt was not what we were expecting. The apt is very small much smaller that what the pictures looked like on line. The apt definitely needs updates!!! We received multiple messages from VRBO asking what time exactly we would be arriving as there needed to be someone to let us into the apt and if we didn't communicate we would not likely have anyone to let us in or we would have to wait until someone was available and could take awhile. (a digital lock box with key would have avoided all this back and forth while trying to travel) We did communicate our approximate time of arrival but it is hard to pin point the exact time when you are taking ferries, and trains to get back to Rome. The apt smelled terrible of cigaret smoke. The kitchen was not equipped with usable cooking utensils, there was no paper towel and the coffee machine was broke (we bought pods to be able to have coffee, grrrr waste of our money) We reached out to the number provided in our apt binder as the manager said not to reach out to him, he would just be a middle man and it would ultimately need to go through VRBO anyway. No one ever got back to us. Apt manger did reach out the last day of our stay:( too late. Apt is in a great location but needs updates and better amenities.

Hi Janel, thanks for your time in reviewing our property. We would like to clarify some points. First of all, the apartment matches perfectly both with the pics and description of our adv. The apartment is clearly listed as a studio, that means one bedroom apt with bed, kitchenette and bathroom. Since the property is a private apartment in a condo, no reception service is expcted: this is the reason why we ask for our guests arrival details in advance, in order to schedule an appointment with our welcome staff. Lock box are not allowed here in Rome: we are aware that many properties can be accessed finding the keys inside the lock box, but it is not legal here in Rome and, since we are professional hosts, we want to lead our job in a legal and secure way. We are really sorry to read so many complaints even if during your stay you have never informed us about. The Nespresso machine works perfectly (maybe you bought the wrong coffee pods, not the correct ones for Nespresso); it is strictly prohibited to smoke in all our properties, and we are very strict about that rule with our guests. Probably the smoke smell comes from outside, since the apartment overlooks an internal courtyard which also overlooks other properties. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, you would have just had to take a look in the cabinets. Last but not least, there are no messages from you on VRBO asking for our assistance: you should have contacted us at the support email that is in the apt booklet.
