This single level home is located in a quiet area across the street from the Isle of Palms Recreation center where you and your family will enjoy the dog park, playground, tennis, basketball, and other amenities. The popular screened-in porch with a sectional sofa is a great place to lounge after a day at the beach. If preparing meals in the fully-equipped kitchen is simply not enough, give the gas grill a chance and grill out on your deck. This dog-friendly retreat offers guests direct beach access and a convenient outdoor shower so you can rinse off the sand before lounging in the living area.

What’s nearby:
The beach is approximately four blocks away from this home. Downtown Isle of Palms is just one and a half miles away. Here you’ll find shops, restaurants, the grocery store, and entertainment. The local marina, which features boat tours and water sport rentals is also just a mile away. Hop in the car and head over the connector to Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island and, Charleston where your vacationing opportunities are endless! All are reachable within 15-30 minutes.

Just Right

This property was a perfect location. My kids loved being right next to the park. They were able to go over and play basketball and pickle ball. My dogs enjoyed being next to the dog park. It was a great neighborhood to walk around and easy access to the beach. Definitely will book this house again if it is available.

Super comfortable home

It was quiet. It is right across the street from a dog park which was great for my puppy. It was a manageable walk to the beach. The beds slept very comfortably. The bathroom is very nicely updated.

Great house and proximity to the beach! It does have areas that need deeper cleaning, most expectedly because it’s pet-friendly, but all-in-all it was great!

Property location excellent. One of the few properties on IOP that is not a mansion, so it’s nice for smaller groups. The property was ok. A dated house with updated appliances. AC went out one day and Vacassa was attentive and resolved issue inside 24hrs. Propane cylinders at the grill were empty…. Realized that on July 4th somewhat challenging to replace on the island that day

Quality Time

We have stayed at this property multiple times now and enjoyed it every time! It is always clean and convenient. The master bed is very comfortable. My only recommendation for updates would be that a few of the pillows are getting flat and could use an update as well as changing the light bulb in the twin room from blue light LED to a soft white bulb. These are very minor and changeable. Possibly consider using more chemical free cleaning options for soaps - we usually bring our own! Overall, LOVE this place and will return!! A favorite for sure!!

This house is in a great location on IOP. Close to Wild Dunes and the beach. We stayed at this home for a work trip and overall we were comfortable. The house has a nice kitchen and back patio. Negatives were that there was sand in the beds and all over the couch when we got there. That should have been taken care of. The worst part though was the bathroom, especially in the morning. The shower water was very cold in the mornings and that was not very enjoyable, considering that we were having to wake up early for work conferences. The water did seem to heat up in the afternoons.

Wonderful stay!

The place was great. Location, comfort everything to really enjoy a relaxing vacation. A few items on the tidy/repair list I would say are: half bath door knob- needs tightening. Fridge door does not smoothly close and when you think it’s closed a few mins later it’s beeping. Dining table is uneven/wobbly- upgrade would be appreciated. Shower was amazing-heated floors ++ 3 season porch furniture very comfy. We would stay again!

This was an all right stay, but there didn't seem to be any hot water...just luke warm. I loved the heated bathroom floors though. The place overall could use a good deep clean but it was clean enough to live in for a few days. The dog park right across the street was a great selling point for us since we traveled with our two large dogs. Everything was really easy to access...wifi, appliances, AC, streaming services, etc. It was a few blocks down from beach access which was another plus!

Wonderful home for the week!

Our family enjoyed our stay on IOP at this very comfortable and well stocked ranch. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the equipment to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving Turkey. The King bed was very comfortable and we also enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the sunshine! We look forward to coming back next year. Thank you Vacasa!

Great home for Nephew’s wedding

I just had moved from East End of Long Island on November 4rd. to Grovetown GA just outside of Augusta. Myself and my two Cairn terriers (like Toto from Wizard of oz enjoyed a 5 night stay on the Isle of Palms. The house was perfect for the 3 of us…. Lots of places to walk the doggies. Close to where my sister and her family stayed also on the Isle of Palms. Any communication i Had during my stay with the Property Management team was excellent. The house was clean and included any kitchen item anyone would need. Thank you Robert John H

NO HOT WATER FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!

Vacasa has the worst customer service! We checked in on Saturday evening with plans to attend a rehearsal dinner. When we arrived, we discovered there was no hot water, so we could not possibly get 5 showers and be at the dinner on time. We contacted Vacasa and were told that our call would be “escalated” and someone would call before coming to address the problem. Sunday, no call and no maintenance. Thankfully, the water was not frigid, so we were able to endure 5 tepid showers before the wedding we were in town to attend. Monday, still no contact, so we called again just before noon. We were told that the problem would be addressed that day. The maintenance guy did come out, but all he did was increase the temperature on the hot water tank and told us to wait a couple of hours for it to heat. When we still did not have hot water, we called him back. He was kind enough to contact us from his cell and told us to call him there. He was stumped as to the problem. He was out 1 or 2 more times, on different days to troubleshoot, but never remedied the situation beyond hot water in the sink, in the small half bathroom, located in the back of the house. He offered to have the property manager call us, but we never heard from anyone. So we spent the entire week with no hot water! When we returned home, I responded to an Email from the district manager asking for feedback, and never received a response. We will never stay in another Vacasa managed property again! In addition, we battled ants on the counter; there was no laundry detergent as indicated in the description; and we only had one dish towel. Also, the screens were torn on the screened porch. On a positive note, the layout of the house was good and the location was great, but having no hot water all week overshadowed everything good about the property.

Relaxing beach vacations

The house is a very convenient beach cottage. Dog park & kid parks across the street. Quiet location a few blocks from the beach so an easy walk. Not in perfect condition but fine for a beach house. Close to restaurants and groceries. Our second stay here and we’ll do it again.

Comfy Beach House

Very clean and well stocked with a nice kitchen. Loved the screened front porch and they had a waterhose to rinse off after fun in the sand. We rented a golfcart on the island which made trips to the beach a breeze. Right across the street from the park but still super quiet and convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Great family house!

This house was perfect for us for the weekend. 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We were all comfortable and had space to spread out. It's a great little beach house and if you have kids, RIGHT across from a super nice playground and field. We will definitely consider this again for a weekend away!
