Great spot

Great location!

If you like being "downtown" , you will love this location! Walk to the pier, shops, and restaurants! Next door to Taco Boy and across from beach bike rentals! Its a busy street so not quiet at night but we had a great time!

Great Location

This place was great! Less than a block from the beach, the Pier, all the restaurants, bars and shopping areas. Walk next door and rent a bike, a golf cart or a moped. Then see the island at a leisurely pace. Will rent again. Cheers.

Great time!

The check in process was a breeze compared to others we have dealt with. 1 of our daughters messed up the lock code...was fixed immediately. The location and condo itself was fabulous! The decore was also really nice.

Great location for easy access to Folly!

We had a great experience in this condo. It was perfect for our needs as well as clean and neat. We were within walking distance of all of Folly Beach. I would definitely use Home Away again in addition to the property management company, Avocet. Everything was professional and as expected.

Folly Beach surprise

This unit is a block from the beach, but the buildings in front of it are lower, so there is a really nice view from the kitchen/living space area and deck. The furniture has been improved greatly in the living area since these pictures.

I would definitely stay her again. It exceeded my expectations. Close to the beach and dining. Quick responses to any questions. Very friendly management. If couch was replaced I would have given it 5 stars. Would suggest new pillows also.

Great location and sleep

Home has 2 queen suites that are spaced well apart for two couples to have their own spaces, (both beds are queens now and comfortable). Fridge has an ice maker! Home does need some TLC and updated furnishings. Vacasa texted updates and were easy to communicate with. They responded fast and replaced a light bulb. We had a great trip.

Great location

We had a very nice stay. You get a lot for the rate. Nice sized 2 br, 2 easy blocks to the beach, walk to restaurants and other amenities. The decor is funky and comfortable,; I enjoyed that. But a paint job might be due. Lots of scrapes and smears. I’d also check the outlets in the double sink bath. I think they aren’t working. Great stay overall!

Great view! Great location!

We loved our stay here! The furniture is nicer than pictured! What does need work is the maintenance of the unit. All but one set of blinds are broken. The patio could use a deep clean. There are abandoned hornets nests in the rafters of the porch above you. The oven handle is broken off. Overall great unit can’t beat the location or view. We would stay there again.

Great location in Folly Beach

My husband and I spent a long weekend in this unit and we enjoyed it. The location is excellent- very short walk to beach, restaurants, church, and shopping. The unit was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The covered porch is great for looking at the ocean and enjoying the breeze. The only downside was the amount of noise from the nearby businesses with live music and partiers until pretty late at night and the noise from footstomps from the unit upstairs. If you want to go to sleep at 10 or 11PM and are not a heavy sleeper, it can be tough (at least when we were there- Fri and Sat night in September). Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Love the location. Love the screened porch. Property was very nice except for the kitchen. It was not well equipped although we made do with substitutions, ie. hand towel instead of oven mitt, soup pot instead of large skillet. Very dim light in kitchen. Both bedrooms were comfortable. We would be happy to stay again. We thought we were in a first floor unit, but we’re on the 2nd floor. No problem since there was an elevator.

Great little spot

Great value! Very clean and plenty of room for 4 people. My only complaint is the beds are worn out and in need of replacement. They are also on the smaller size. Overall, still a great spot.
