Summer Vacay

We had a lovely stay this week! The place is cute, clean, and close to the beach! Really enjoyed Chico Feo, Lost Dog Cafe, Dead Low Cafe, and Bowen’s Island. Day trips to downtown Charleston, Botany Bay and Wadamalaw Island for the Charleston Tea Garden and Deep Water Winery/Vineyard.

Ahhh…Folly

The studio is perfect for a couples getaway. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The washer and dryer is a huge help since we stayed 5 days. Beach access is directly across the street and the stretch of beach wasn’t crowded. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The private deck is awesome to watch the ocean with morning coffee ir happy hour. We will be back!

Great location across from beach access

Apartment A is as pictured and perfect for two individuals. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a meal; the washer and dryer were appreciated; bed and pillows comfortable. I would like to mention the bathroom is small, hardly any leg room from toilet to edge of bathtub; medicine cabinet and shelf for storing toiletries were helpful. The kitchen window needs a mini blind since it exposes the middle of the living space. Location is perfect with beach access directly across a one way street. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Checkin was simple and good communication. We look forward to returning to Folly Beach and Charleston in the future.

First time at Folly Beach!

Ahh Folly was a lovely little studio directly across the street from the public access walkway to the beach. So perfect! The studio itself was older with no frills but worked out well. Loved the 2 decks (side private one and large shared front deck) Unfortunately there was some construction going on in the back yard so the side deck wasn't really usable due to workers and equipment noises. This was not a negative to us for the most part because we had the front deck to ourselves. Location is perfect!! We will definitely be returning to Folly Beach and will definitely see if Ahhh Folly is available. Thank you for a great vacation spot!

Folly is a vibe that no other beach has! Laid back and unpretentious its great for singles, families, retirees and everyone in between. It's the most welcoming place on earth.

What makes this property unique

This is our family home that we rent out. My kids have grown up here and we love to enjoy that with others. We are a rare triplex on the beach and can offer something that the larger homes cannot. A getaway for couples and smaller groups. Everyone should be able to enjoy a beach vacation!
