This Catalina Vacation Home has breathtaking views throughout the property. Please do note it is not ADA Accessible. There are approximately 50 steps up from street to reach 1st Level Entrance. Please see photos of stairs.


New for 2024 we have HVAC to all rooms. One of the few homes to provide Air Conditioning

The unit has the highest speed internet you can get on the island averaging around 80mbps down / 7mbps up with Netgear Orbi Wifi Throughout. Wired connection is available in Living Room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Granite Counters, Seating for Six, Keurig Coffee and Drip Coffee Carafe, Microwave, Gas Stove/Oven, Dishwasher, Ice-maker in Freezer, and Cooking/Baking Supplies. All areas of living room and kitchen have an incredible view.

The living room has comfortable couch with seating for Six, Electric Duraflame Fireplace, and a 65" Samsung Smart TV with Samsung TV Plus, Netflix, Hulu, CBS All Access, & Disney+. There is also a pull-out Twin Bed.

From the living room & kitchen there is a Bedroom with an Ensuite Full Bath. The bedroom has a Queen Bed, Pull-out Twin Bed, and a Desk.

Outside the living room and bedroom is a large patio with outdoor dining with LED Lighted Umbrella (useful in evenings as well as day), Natural Gas Hard Lined Webber Spirit 310 BBQ (no worries on Propane tanks being empty), and comfortable seating with love seats and captain chairs.

Up the spiral staircase is the master bedroom with tall ceiling, a California King Bed, Smart 50" TV with TV Apps, Dresser and French Patio Doors. Master Bedroom has the best view in the house with a large picture window. The master bathroom has dual sinks, shower and a two person large jetted tub with a Bay Window. The master bedroom also has a twin bed and an option for a Queen Blowup. Please note the inside spiral staircase is tight. We recommend moving items up to master bedroom using the exterior staircase when possible. The patio outside the master bedroom has comfortable seating for four.

This property is about two blocks from the water. It's about a 5-7 minute walk from the beach to stairs of property. No golf cart is provided with this property; but everything is in walking distance. There is one outside security camera at our main entry.

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay. We fell in love with the view. Enjoyed the two patios and the master bedroom was spacious. It was a perfect setting for our group of five. Everyone slept well and when gathered in the kitchen and living room we felt cozy. Beautiful place, I would love to stay again in the future.

This place is wonderful. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so it's very private if you are traveling with someone else. It's quiet and the views from the living room and upstairs bedroom are just beautiful. There's everything you need in the kitchen and it's an easy walk to town if you want to eat out. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you!

Fun stay in Catalina

The house was clean and comfortable, my family of five had plenty of room to relax and unwind after our days of activities in the island. The view from the property is amazing and made our stay even better, I would recommend this rental, the owner communicated well and we felt safe and comfortable in our stay.

Those Catalina Nights and Days

Absolutely loved staying there and will absolutely do so again. This was our second trip to Avalon and I don’t think I can stay in a regular hotel again there. Having access to a full kitchen and a private jacuzzi and outdoor deck makes it wonderful. Loved the views, and despite it raining every day during our trip, made the most of it, cooking, reading, watching movies, and taking walks in the rain to Lovers Cove.

Memorial Day Getaway

Great place and great view. Would have given five stars for the cleanliness but the couch had spilled food stains and jigsaw puzzle pieces coming out of the cushions. I found the puzzle box and put the pieces away. I would have given five stars for location and neighborhood too if it was not for the house in front of the property. House in front of the property was dirty and you could smell dog urine and feces when you are out on the balcony. Not the property owners fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding views, wonderful communication!

We’ve stayed on Catalina for over a decade now, so we know it well, and this is one of the best vacation homes we’ve stayed in! A lovely, comfy environment with incredible view that’s honestly hard to leave every day! The kitchen had everything you need and then some. Both beds were incredibly comfortable and the view from the upper bed was mesmerizing. Each room has a full bathroom and that’s definitely a bonus. We loved having the option of two decks. The lower deck had high comfy chairs for the view and a round dinning table, along with an outdoor couch sitting area on the other side with a bbq. The upper deck off the bedroom was incredible, and a bit more private with comfy outdoor furniture as well. Such a stunning view from both decks of the boat harbor, the casino, the hills and homes that surround all three sides and a wide horizon of ocean blue. Just wow. The living room couch was casual and comfy and we loved the long dinning table. The stairs up to the house and inside were the only challenges at this home. Altho I have a bad lower back and could manage well as all the steps are even. The airflow throughout the home is great so it never gets too hot. The two large screen TVs were awesome for family movie night. Nice touches like beautiful plates, new pots and pans, soft towels, specialty soap, new outdoor furniture really prove that this is not just a revolving rental home approach that the owners have. Steven is one of those rare owners who really cares about his customers. He was always a message away and would reply quickly. He was even up to date on town events that he made sure to inform us of. The house was very clean and his crew was nearby so if we needed anything it came quickly. What an awesome experience! One that even our teen loved because he had his own room, bathroom and plenty of peace. It’s relatively quiet here in this home on this usually loud-ish Island. And even when people appeared around us on their roof top decks they were friendly and it was actually kinda lovely. We already booked our next trip here! Thank you for being pet friendly, too! Highly recommend.

We were very happy with our stay. It’s a beautiful place and had plenty of space for our family. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go. Communication with host was easy and quick. We wanted to check in a little early and Steve was very accommodating. We were also able to bring our pet , which was a definite plus. I highly recommend this property.

Charming with great views!

Once you got to the property, the inside was beautiful! Two great bedrooms and the view from the master bedroom jacuzzi bathtub was stunning, especially at night. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of pots and pans, plates and silverware etc. It was very clean and welcoming. The only two things I would mention is the fact that the master bed was super comfy, but the other bed needs a topper to make it not quite as firm. The second thing I would mention is that it’s about a 3 block walk uphill, and then another 52 steps up to the top level, so if you’re overweight and out of shape, this is not the place for you…… additionally there’s a very skinny spiral staircase that goes up to the master bedroom that would not accommodate someone very overweight. Luckily, we are a skinny family, in good shape, so it was perfect for us!

Catalina Heights!

We couldn’t get enough of hanging out on the deck enjoying the heights above Avalon. The kitchen is WELL equipped and we enjoyed eating in each night. Lots of space and comfortable sleeping - Steven was on top of making our stay convenient and enjoyable!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend on the island staying at this home. Communication was excellent. We were grateful to stay here because of the view first and foremost ( the 50 steps up the hill is no joke but it's worth it) and the general cleanliness and coziness of the home.

The house was better than pictured -amazing views from both levels. Seeing the harbor from the living room all day was wonderful, and long evenings were spent on the deck. We loved our stay and would recommend this home. Communication with owner was wonderful as well.

Taste of the real Avalon

Fantastic week in Avalon! Loved "living in the neighborhood." Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning - not just after they realized we were quiet and respectful guests. Loved the outdoor living spaces with incredible views. Jetted tub in bay window looking at the ocean didn't hurt either. =) No problems whatsoever and owner responded immediately to all my questions. Certainly hope to return to Catalina Island someday and would definitely rent this property again. Thank you!

Great Vacation Spot on Catalina Island

We have been visiting the island for more than 15 years. This recently remodeled apartment has all the amenities you could want. It is well maintained and clean. The views of Avalon are worth the many steps to climb up to the property. (If you have luggage, I'd advise taking a taxi from the ferry to the location, as it is quite a hike up the hill from the Main Street. Taxis are plentiful and very reliable)

Great Catalina Stay
