About this property

Welcome to Lamberts Cove! Our family has been on-island for generations and we invite you to our family home at the end of a private road. Enjoy 240* views of the cove from the house-long back deck that include some of the best sunsets on the planet.

Our home has three bedrooms: the master (Cal. king) is on the opposite end from the other two bedrooms (queen, 2 twins) with the kitchen and living space between. Master has a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a hall bathroom, and all bedrooms have a view to the water. Discreet powder room off the main living area. Take a leisurely breakfast or an early evening cocktail on the screened in porch just off the kitchen.

Easy driving to town: 10min to Vineyard Haven and the original Black Dog, 15min to Oak Bluffs and America's oldest carousel, The Flying Horses. Famous Edgartown is 20min, as are the colorful Aquinnah/Gay Head Cliffs. Walk down the hill along your private path to the beach and walk to Split Rock or Town Beach. At the end of the day, take a refreshing outdoor shower, then grill fresh fish, sip cocktails on the deck and enjoy your quintessential Vineyard vacation!

Peaceful sanctuary

This property was very peaceful and relaxing. It was clean and comfortable, well-stocked with necessary kitchen items, comfortable beds and linens and lovely expansive views from the main living areas and deck. It’s rustic and old-fashioned, but very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for family dining.

A Wonderful Beach Getaway

Our time here was magical. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and gorgeous views of Vineyard Sound. We enjoyed the hypnotic beauty of daily sunsets from the deck, cocktails in hand. The house is comfortable and well stocked, especially for lobster dinners. Carrie is an excellent host and was very responsive and helpful with any questions/requests we had for her. Overall, our time here was the perfect balm to the stresses of everyday life. This is a beach lovers paradise.
