The Russell House is a newly built chic and cozy retreat in the top floor of our backyard carriage house. We are steps away from Burger Up, Marché, Five Points Pizza, East Park Donuts, Attaboy, Treehouse, Rosemary, 3 Crow Bar, Margot Cafe & Bar, Hugh Baby's Burgers, Vui's Kitchen, Aurora Tacos, The Grilled Cheeserie, Woodland Studios(Bob Dylan - Nashville Skyline, Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker) & so much more!!

For a rental this place had higher end touches that were so appreciated like fresh whole bean coffee and grinder, brita filtered water in the fridge and fresh decor. The gate can take a minute to figure out but just follow the clear instructions. Great location and lovely places to walk to. Short uber to town.

Great stay in east Nashville

My husband and I loved our stay in this east Nashville home! We loved how close we were to 5 points and downtown Nashville. The amenities were also incredible, we had everything we could possibly need.

Perfect getaway

The perfect place to stay! The pictures and reviews I read were spot on. This was a perfect location! We were close to awesome restaurants shops and a short distance from downtown Broadway! Neil was a great host! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Awesome property. This was the perfect location being in a quieter neighborhood but still in walking distance to the business of downtown. The property manager was great and responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

We had a great stay at The Russell House. We picked the property based on the pictures and listing but when we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The property was clean, well kept and the bed was VERY comfortable. The location was great as it was very close to many great restaurants and coffee shops. Would highly recommend this property and looking forward to our next visit.

Loved this new apartment which is blocks away from many great restaurants and shops. We are walkers, so walking over the bridges to Nissan Stadium, Broadway, and the Capitol was easy! We hope it is available on our next trip to Nashville! Great host too!

East Nash Hidden Gem

The Russell house is the perfect hidden gem on the east side of Nashville! There’s plenty of restaurants near by (a must is Edleys for Brisket!!), lots of places in walking distance too which is perfect! Close enough to Broadway, the Stadium and the Arena but also a good balanced location for a lesser paced side of Nashville with plenty of fun and activities nearby. I highly recommend checking out the Russell house for your next stay!

East Nashville Gem 💎

As first time visitors to Nashville, we were hesitant to book this property because of its location on the “wrong” side of the river. Turned out, it was 100% RIGHT for us! So nice to retreat to this cozy loft after too much Broadway and other sightseeing. Super clean, very quiet, comfy bed, secure parking and utterly adorable. Hidden gem conveniently located in a charming neighborhood.

The Russel House- Nashville

Our overall experience was excellent. Proximity to downtown and ease of access to the property was excellent. Neal had very detailed information on everything from directions to the property, entrance to the yard and house, places to visit and dine at in East Nashville, to how to use the TV, shower and a host of other useful information. It was a great stay but not recommended for people with mobility issues(stairs). Thanks Neal and Katherine for hosting us.

Absolutely Adorable!!

This place is so cute and prefect for a couple looking to relax and enjoy a short drive to downtown to see the attractions. Super clean with a lot of extras. First place we have stayed that actually has HOT water in the shower. One of my personal pleasures. Great communication with host. My sister actually came to stay with us (first time in a VRBO for her) and was very impressed as well! Thanks so much for having us. Looking forward to planning another trip to Nashville and staying here again if it available!!

East Nashville charmer.

We own a VRBO at Turtle Bay, North Shore, Oahu. So we are familiar with quality Appointments in vacation rentals. The Russell house had everything and more and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great location with perfect amenities. Neil was super easy to communicate with, and was always timely with responses to our questions. I like being able to park our rental car behind the gate at night, knowing it was extra safe. Close walking distance to restaurants, music, and bars which we frequented. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Michael and Krista, Ventura, California.

Why they chose this property

The Russell House is a passion project for my wife, Katherine, and me. After managing properties for the last 5 years we decided it was time to have one of our own! We tried to think of everything we love when staying in an Airbnb and deliver it to you, our guests! Katherine did all of the interior design. We've used only the highest quality materials and goods to offer a truly luxurious experience. The Russell House features hand designed cabinetry and shelving by Bloomfield Originals, furnishings and decor from West Elm, CB2, Crate & Barrel, and the Citizenry. Artwork by Emily Leonard. The barn door was hand made by 1767 Designs and features wood from the old floors at the Russell Street Church of Christ.
