A wonderful place to stay with small kids!

The convenience and layout of this rental is top notch with small children. It was an easy walk to the beach even having to cross the main road. There was plenty of space for the week and the kitchen has more tools than a typical rental. We hope to be back!

Great Home--Will be Back!

What a nice place--close to everything!! Just a short walk to the beach and Whaley's restaurant. Host is very responsive!! Would definitely recommend. Just a very nice cozy home.

Lovely beach cottage

We loved our stay! This is a cozy 1950s beach cottage that has retained some original features and charm through its renovation. We especially loved the screened porch and the lovely bathtub. My one tiny quibble that’s not worth removing a star: I might recommend taking your own bedding (as well as sheets) as what was in the primary bedroom is a bit worn.

Going Coastal was just the beautiful, cozy, and peaceful vacation spot that our family needed! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week of family fun and relaxation. We loved the deck and screened in porch for morning coffee and nighttime conversations, star gazing, and fox and deer sightings! This was our 3rd time visiting Edisto and we have stayed at three different rentals; Mollie’s property was by far our favorite! We loved it so much we booked our next stay while we were there:) Thank you for sharing this magical place with us!

Wonderful beach house for our family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our family vacation. Beautifully decorated and very clean with many extra items that made it so convenient. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach each day and the cozy screened in patio to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and gatherings in the evening. We will definitely be going back again.

Short but sweet stay!

We had to cut our trip short due to Deby, but loved our one night here. The property manager was super responsive and proactive with the emergency situation on the island. We hope to book again for next year with better weather!

Fantastic Weekend!

This property is 5 stars! Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of storage and a short walk to the beach! We rented golf carts this weekend and explored everything Edisto has to offer. We will be back and would highly recommend this house to anyone!

Wonderful!

The house was perfect for our stay, easy to find and super close to the beach. The screened-in porch was perfect for evening dinners. The house is very clean and comfortable. We love to cook and the kitchen was a great size and had all the appliances and utensils we needed. We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

Great little house!!

We loved our stay at Going Coastal, and Mollie was very responsive and easy to reach. Comfy bed ( very important!), and easy walk or bike ride to the beach. Nicely stocked kitchen ( we cook a lot). Wished for a range light above the stove, but otherwise , great! Would definitely stay here again.

April at the Beach Cottage

Just finished our 4 night stay at this lovely renovated beach cottage. Everything in the description was accurate and it was perfect for our needs. One short block off beach access 24 and an easy walk to Whaleys, easy bike ride to all other places on the island. The house is updated, clean, and very functional. We would stay here again!

Beach retreat

This home was exactly as advertised. We had an excellent week exploring Edisto and spending time on the beach. The owner was very responsive and offered great food recommendations and activities for our kids. I would recommend checking out the Serpentarium and Roxbury Mercantile.

Cute House

Enjoyed our older renovated cute home. Walking distance to beach was great..We took our bikes and enjoyed the bike trail. We had a few family members visit us while we were there and they enjoyed their day. This was ourfirst time staying at Edisto and we plan to return in the future. We only stayed 3 days but next time we will stay longer!

Perfect Location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Going Coastal! We were at Edisto to celebrate my sister's birthday and each family had their own place to stay. While we had the party at her vacation rental, my family enjoyed our time own time at Going Coastal. My grandsons enjoyed walking to the beach and all of us enjoyed the screen porch. There was plenty of room in the living room and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom and bathroom layout were perfect as well. We would definitely stay here again!!

We have been coming to this special place for many many years. It has been a lifelong dream of ours to own our own home here in Edisto. We are so grateful to be able to share our love for the ocean with friends and family. We love Edisto so much that we look forward to extending our home to others to find peace and joy here. Our cottage has been remodeled with white birch hardwood floors and white washed pine wood ceilings throughout. Brand new bathroom with freestanding soaker tub. Includes brand new stainless steel kitchen appliances. Enjoy the spacious outdoor porch to soak in the rays or sip your morning coffee. Use the screened in porch to curl up with a book or enjoy the ocean breeze while napping.
