Over all a great place to stay! Great location easy walk to beach, golf cart accessible to everything. Plenty any of room for 6 adults! Wonderful dock for fishing. Living room furniture not especially comfortable. Outside cushions always damp, maybe should have cushions in dry place when not is use. Owner very responsive. I would stay again

Great size and location

The house is very centrally located and just across Palmetto Blvd. from the beach, an easy walk. The property is big, can easily accommodate 8-10 people. There's a canal on the back of the property for fishing is wanted.When we arrived there were cockroaches. Credit the owner who had a pest control guy there the following day. This house is pretty beat up. Carpet stains, water stained ceilings in a couple of the rooms and just generally run-down. You're paying for location and ability to hold people.

Perfect for Pups

This house was perfect for our dogs. We stayed in January, so dogs were allowed on the beach off leash. The lagoon at the back of the house was beautiful at sunset and great for fishing. The bedrooms were comfortable. The island is pretty quiet in the winter, but we found plenty to do and really enjoyed Botany Bay. Rachel was an excellent host and quick to respond.

Christmas break at Shark Attack

There are 3 King size beds and 2 twin beds so it is designed perfectly for couples to have space. There is a fenced in side yard where you can take your dogs downstairs and let them run around. The back porch overlooks a beautiful view of the Tidal creek. The shops and restaurants are a walk or quick drive away.

BEACH Babies

We had relatives in the house and Grandchildren, Great Grands and other relatives in another house away from us but we met at a beach access in the middle. House was great for what we needed. Only one problem, the blowup bed provided went down 2 nights in a row, but we made out. Location was great you are only 3 blocks from shops, grocery, and rental establishment. Recommend highly!

Nice for Beach House

Nicely located, it is an older house but setup is good for beach house. Kitchen is pretty antiquated but everything works. Beds - hard, very hard, not that comfortable, that being said for the price and location it was hard to beat with rental prices as they are now. We've been vacationing at Edisto for 35 years and rentals continue to rise so this was a good rental for what it cost. Property Manager was very responsive which was great. Very nice week overall.

Bring your boots!

We LOVED the interior space of the house. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked and the screened porch is heaven. Our only negatives were that 1. the side yard isn’t actually attached to the house, so you can’t just let the dog out in the middle of the night; you must leash up, go outside, and open the gate to the yard, and 2. the property floods substantially when it rains. As a result, I went to take the dog into the yard one night and found myself up to my calves in water in the driveway. Water was a few inches on our car tires and the yard itself was a marsh. We contacted the agent to ask if there was a pump and learned that this is normal for the property. Rachel advised me to buy boots at the Ace hardware on the island, and so I wore waders to take the dog out for the remaining rainy days. That worked but also meant we couldn’t walk from the house to the road without wading, which wasn’t ideal. Hopefully the ongoing renovations (which are pretty great) will include some remediation of the drainage problems. The house itself is lovely and, excepting the flooding, very well located. We enjoyed our stay.

We had another wonder stay at Edisto Beach, in the Shark Shack! Had a great time at the beach and casting off the new dock. The location is great. Enjoyed the house and the enclosed yard area for the dog. A real short walk to the beach and close to the various shops. 3Gulls Creamery was another tradition we were able to do again this year.

Property worked well for our group. Quite a variety of spaces indoor and outside. Wish the weather had been cooler. Kitchen is equipped with every item one could need. Outdoor dock was great for a grandchild who loves to fish. Walk to the beach was very doable.

Check in went well. The kitchen is VERY well stocked with utensils, and items needed to prepare meals. The Wi-Fi was good for the most part but had occasional glitches. Property is in close proximity to stores and beach access.

Had a GREAT time with family at SHARKS SHACK. Property is a very short walk to beach access point. My family of 7 fit GREAT into the place, my daughter and 2 grand daughters fit perfect on one side sharing a bathroom with here having a Queen bed and the girls 2 twins and my son and his GF perfect in another room with my wife and I having the spacious master with access to porch area. We all had a GREAT time!! LOVE Edisto, been going there for 50 years for our beach getaway favorite. Edisto is the most peaceful place there is!!
Peace and no crowd!!!
Left a present for the next kids to have fun with.

Another relaxing time

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious home in Ediato. Would be perfect for multiple families. Outdoor area is perfect for early morning coffee and seafood boils in the evenings.

Dog friendly house close to beach

Roomy house had everything we needed. The 4 bedrooms / 4 baths easily accommodated our family of 6. Easy walk to the beach. Nice screened in porch overlooking the lagoon, a great peaceful place to enjoy breakfast! We enjoyed Edisto Beach!
