Tropical Trade Winds and Unsurpassed Views are from our Beach Front Home. Opens up for full enjoyment of Hawaii's Climate. Our rap-around Lanai overlooks the beautiful beach, Kailua Bay, and Offshore Islands.

Kailua is a small upscale town with excellent retail stores. Whole Foods is six blocks from home, and three other supermarkets are only a few blocks further. Everything is available and at your fingertips.

Our BEACHFRONT home was designed to provide you with a perfect retreat. You will be as close to the beach as a Hawaiian home can be.

The beach of Kailua is renowned for its fine white sand, blue-green waters, and safety. It is not crowded and has a pleasant neighborhood feel.

Our four-bed/3.5-bath home gives plenty of space. Upstairs/downstairs and corner bedrooms offer privacy when needed. The 1300 sq ft wrap-around lanai gives everyone a sense of participating in the adventures, whether by watching and yelling encouragement or by showing off newly learned water skills.
Our house has everything you need except groceries. Our casual feeling will make you feel right at home. The Hawaiian-style furnishings and island feel have earned our home a recommendation from some true Hawaiian leaders as the best Hawaiian home available.

A garage FULL of BEACH TOYS, YARD TOYS, BBQ, TEAK LOUNGERS, ROCKERS, & TABLES will ensure you never have a dull moment. The Large Yard offers plenty of play and relaxation.

Kailua is a charming town with many delicious restaurants and shopping for everyone. You can get all the essentials and find unique items to take home as mementos of your Hawaiian vacation.

Getting to attractions such as PEARL HARBOR, the NORTH SHORE, and HANAUMA BAY is very simple.

The House: Our home has two master bedrooms, one on the ground level and one master of the 3 Upstairs Bedrooms. Total 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bedrooms Upstairs and 1 Bedroom on the Lower Level.

The Upper Primary Suite has a king bed, a full bathroom, and private access to the Lanai.
The Garden Bedroom has a queen bed and tranquil mountain views.
2 Koa Wood Twin Beds furnish the Koa Bedroom with great views of the beach and yard.

A Large Living Room opens onto the Lanai overlooking the ocean and wrapping around three sides of the house, providing views of the beach, the yard, and the mountains. Comfortable couches allow for maximum relaxation while taking in the views of watching a DVD on the flat-screen TV. The dining table is perfect for gathering around for dinner conversation. The Mark Chia, well-respected Oahu artist, chandelier over the dining table provides warm light and is a unique touch

Downstairs is a Semi-Private Suite with a Partial Kitchen, Full Bathroom, and a Private Half Bathroom.

The Lower Living area features a galley-style service kitchen that opens to a dining area, sitting room, and full bath.

The lower common areas lead directly into the large, beautifully landscaped lawn.

The Property: The entire home was designed to be an accurate representation of Hawaii.

Plantation-style architecture celebrates Hawaii's heritage of sugar and pineapple plantations; workers and landowners on the plantations would live in homes stylistically similar to ours.

The interior décor of our home reflects this tradition while providing modern convenience and comfort. Our furnishings are made of wood, Koa, Bamboo, and Rattan, all traditionally found on the islands. We strive to keep the feel of Hawaii throughout the house with tastefully chosen accessories.

Extras: EVERYTHING for your beach vacation is provided with our home: beach towels, chairs, BBQ grill, loads of beach toys, boogie boards, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water.
*The sounds and views of the beach, ocean, and surf are always within range.*

We loved this home! It was perfectly stocked and suited for our family's 10 day vacation. The home was very well maintained and totally stocked with basic pantry items making cooking and enjoying the beach a breeze. We loved our stay, thank you!

Paradise in pandemic

Amazing vacation

This home and the owners were fantastic. We had such a memorable vacation here. They had everything that we needed and more. We immediately felt at home. Played hard, relaxed hard, laughed a lot and just really enjoyed our family in this lovely beach front setting.

Outstanding location on a perfect beach

You really cannot find a better location on Oahu. Everything about the home and the neighborhood makes you feel like you are part of the local culture from the first day. And, of course, the owner makes a big difference, being attentive and helpful while still ensuring you have the privacy and relaxation you came for. Thank you for a fantastic vacation.

Home away from home in Kailua

This home was perfect for our 3 generation family! The teenagers tried out all the beach and ocean equipment which is saying a lot considering how much gear was available. Beautiful ocean views any time of day. Kailua is just the right size, plenty of stores but laid back and not too big for getting around. The Sunday farmers market was great for fruits and vegetables. The owners were welcoming and helpful. We're already talking about our next trip staying here.

ABSOLUTE HEAVEN

I have stayed at many rental homes in Kailua but this one was the best!! The home is spacious and clean and well stocked with anything you might need including bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, SUPs, kayaks, snorkel gear and more. Virginia and Dan were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!! Oh... did I mention the view? WOW!!

Great Kailua Beach House

Incredible views, beach just a few steps away, huge yard. Very comfortable, roomy true beach house, well provisioned. More than enough beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. for all to enjoy. Perfect place for us to celebrate a special birthday that included 7 adults and a 15 month old. Dan and Virginia are most gracious and accommodating owners/hosts,. There was some construction on a house next door but it in no way interfered with our stay. The only regret we have is that the week of our stay went by way tooo quickly.

We've stayed here twice and can't wait to go back! The house is perfect: beautiful casual decor, gorgeous views, and all the beach gear you could ask for. The house is perfect for families. We've stayed here with kids ranging from age 1 to 9. Dan and Kat have made every effort to accommodate our needs. The beach right outside the door is wonderful-great bodysurfing and boogieboarding. I am running out of superlatives to describe this place. It is truly magical!

Best Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation. Grandparents can sit on the veranda and read and watch/take pictures of kids and grand children enjoying the beach and the ocean. Good beds and furniture and the kitchen is very well equipped and stocked. Lots of beach/ocean and other toys and equipment. If you enjoy cooking and don't like the cost/hassle/long waits of eating out in Hawaii, go to Whole Foods up the street to shop or pick up something at the Deli. Dan was very attentive. We took side trips to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Plantation, and the North Shore. Stop at Kua Aina for a great hamburger while at the North Shore and snorkel at Shark's Cove.

A Slice of Paradise in Kailua!My wife and I spent an entire month at this incredible plantation-style house, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw from what we believe is one of the best beaches in the United States.We nicknamed it "The Plantation House" for its magnificent wrap-around lanai on the second floor. This porch, complete with rocking chairs, was our favorite spot to enjoy breathtaking views of Kailua Beach and spectacular sunsets every single night. We even had a front-row seat for the Marine base airshow!The trade winds flowing through the house provided natural and blissful cooling. The downstairs 'Ohana was fabulous for our guests, and we were blown away by how well the house was stocked. From beach toys, canoes, and paddleboards to surfboards and every supply you could need, they have thought of everything.Lastly, the hosts, Virginia and Dan, were wonderful. They were attentive and handled any request promptly. Dan even kindly took our trash and recyclables out on the scheduled days—a touch above and beyond that we truly appreciated. The ample trash and recycling bins were also a very practical plus.We cannot recommend this property highly enough for a wonderful and complete Kailua vacation. We would return in a heartbeat.

Vacation in paradise!

Dan and Virginia's beautiful home in Kailua was perfect in every way for our family vacation. Eight of us (parents and young adults) enjoyed all the amenities that came with house: great kitchen, every water toy you could want (SUPs, surf boards, kayaks, boogie boards, etc), lawn games, bikes, coolers, hats, rash guards, sun screen, sand chairs, beach towels, grill... you name it! We ate most of our meals at the house and enjoyed cooking together in the well-stocked kitchen (all the spices, utensils and dishes we needed) and loved spending time on the beautiful wrap-around porch, perfect lawn and - best of all - the amazing, beautiful and quiet beach just steps from our back door. The 4th of July fireworks right over our beach were an amazing bonus to the wonderful week we spent together. Couldn't have asked for a better location - easy walks or bike rides into town (and shave ice!) - and the gorgeous beach to look at and enjoy 24/7. Dan and Virginia were perfect hosts and were very helpful before and during our stay. A wonderful vacation that our family will never forget! Mahalo!

Phenomenal house and location

We had an extended family vacation consisting of kids, parents, and grandparents. This property cannot be beat. The house, the views, and the location are simply spectacular. The house is such high quality and luxurious but comfortable and homey too. Lots of spaces to gather together, or get away for some quiet time. The house is well appointed in all the key areas..kitchen, dining, garage, laundry, bathrooms. The hosts have literally thought of everything, from the rockers on the front of the wrap around porch to enjoy the beautiful views, to the assortment of water toys, chairs, towels, coolers, etc, to enjoy the beaches, to the assortment of kitchen appliances, tools, spices and condiments on hand. The location of the house is amazing, steps from the beach with beautiful views from the house. But besides that, the town of Kailua is an awesome place to be if you want to be far enough from the crowds of Waikiki but still close enough to visit when you want. There were just so many nice touches within the property that I’m unable to mention them all. But worth noting, after a long day of travel, we dreaded having to jump out of bed to get groceries b4 having a morning cup of coffee. To our surprise they had everything we needed to have our morning coffee before heading out. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying at this property again!

Wonderful Host and Amazing Home with Incredible Views!

Many times when you look at a listing, the photos online look better than when you actually arrive. However, in this case, the photos online looked amazing and seeing them in person completely exceeded our expectations. The home was wonderful and the views. . . the views were breathtaking. We were so close to the beach, we woke up to the sounds of the waves crashing and went to sleep at night with the sounds of waves crashing. We absolutely loved staying at this home and the amenities that were available for our use. It really added to our experience. I also have to mention how impressed I was with Virginia our host. Prior to our arrival we were communicating about when our flights were coming in and she was so gracious to allow us an earlier check-in which made it so much more comfortable than driving around with our luggage waiting for our check-in time. Not to mention, she was there at the house to make sure we were able to get into the home without an issue and gave us a personal tour of the home to ensure we had everything we needed and showed us where everything was located. This personal touch and attention really stood out and impressed us. Finally when it came to checking out, our flight was later in the day and Virginia was again gracious to allow us a later than planned check out so that we could spend one last morning at the most beautiful beach that is in front of the home. It was truly an amazing and memorable vacation and we will definitely be back!

Ideal Summer R&R

We absolutely loved our stay here in Kailua. The property was even better than described. Dan and Virginia were stellar hosts, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided us with a perfect setting to rest, relax, and recharge at the end of summer. There is truly every outdoor toy anyone could need, all indoor conveniences too, and the location can’t be beat. Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. We will miss sipping coffee while enjoying the sunrise over the ocean and our daily boogie boarding with our kids. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not regret it. We hope to be back ourselves.

Amazing stay in Kailua!

If possible, Dan & Virginia's home is even better than it looks! The location and views can't be beat, the house is appointed for anything you could want at the the beach, and the hosts were communicative and easy to work with from start to finish. We even cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the house - often a challenge in a rental! - and the kitchen has everything we needed and more! Overall, our time in Kailua was incredible and made all the better for staying in this beautiful home. We will absolutely be back!

Beachside Perfection

I can’t imagine a better place to vacation on Oahu. Kailua is a charming town on the Windward side of Oahu a world away from the madhouse of Waikiki, but with everything you could want or need available. The property is exceptional in every way. Located on gorgeous Kailua Beach, this home is equipped with every beach toy, ( even kites to take advantage of the trade winds ) yard games, and has a manicured tropical garden with lounge and beach chairs, tables and a charming swing for two. The house is immaculate, and provisioned with absolutely everything you could possibly need. And the wraparound lanai with the rocking chairs positioned to view sunrises, moon over the Bay, and the daily beach walkers— heaven! The hosts, Virginia and Dan, are very responsive and accommodating. If there were 10 stars available to rate this exceptional home, I would give it 11! We can’t wait to return to our new “happy place”.

Perfect Beach House

The location of this house could not be more perfect! It was beyond expectation in its cleanliness, amenities, and convenience. Everything you could possibly want for your vacation was right there. Dan and Virginia have thought of every detail to make you comfortable. This house is a big slice of paradise and we recommend it highly to anyone who wants to be on Oahu, but not in Honolulu. Lovely property directly on the beach. Well equipped for water sports. Owners were very easy to deal with.

Beautiful view

Everything you needed was there. The view was amazing. Our biggest problem was dealing with HomeAways billing they were having a hard time splitting up credit card payments.

Absolutely Wonderful Home. In Every Way. Kailua Beach, Beach Access, Privacy, Views, Accessories

This is an an amazing property location with simple access to Kailua town, Honolulu, and anywhere on the island. Kailua Beach is unsurpassed and this house sits as close to the beach as any house and about in the middle of the 2.5 mile sand beach. The house fits the beach well. It is designed as a beach house and looks good from the beach and fits with and is furnished well to reflect Hawaii and beach living. Enjoy incredible 180 degree views from the upstairs lanai that will take your breath away. A wide lanai with loungers and rockers so you can sit and enjoy the ocean all day and night. Also a upstairs lanai teak outdoor table for BBQ and relaxing. The owner's hobby is orchids and there are lots of beautiful plants spread inside the rooms. The yard is well landscaped and supplied with teak lounger's, teak picnic tables/chairs, umbrellas, and tiki lights. The wonderfully soft lawn leads directly to the beach. Outdoor hot & cold shower, coconut trees, and lots of plants. Ground floor master bedroom and upstairs master, queen, and twin bedrooms give lots of privacy and yet will bring your family together with the best of fun. Everything is 1st Class. Dishes, towels, bedding, supplies, beach accessories, yard toys, landscaping and more. Nothing has been overlooked or forgotten and everything was in good condition and ready for use. Thank you so much for sharing. The only thing you didn't do...make our week long enough.

On our first visit to Hawaii we knew we had found Paradise. Within 4 months, after searching all the islands, we purchased this Beach Front home. We were extremely lucky to find this home and this location. The house has 100 feet of beachfront and sits 42 feet back from the beachfront. Access to the 3 mile sand beach is across our manicured yard by a beach access on either side of our yard. The location also is directly into Kailua Beach, not neighborhoods to drive through or road changes to make. We are just 5 blocks from the center of Kailua Town, Whole Foods, and many restaurants, yet so private you can spend your vacation here without seeing or hearing a car or any street noise. Kailua Beach and our home are such beautiful places we cannot keep them only for ourselves. We enjoy sharing this wonderful bit of Hawaii and it is fun making new friends from around the world.

We strive to make our home reflect all that is beautiful and pleasant about Hawaii. We want our guests to have an easy and memorable vacation. We think the magic of visiting Kailua on the Windward side of Oahu is the best possible choice for a holiday. Live in a home that arguably has the best location and views in Hawaii. The drive over the Pali Highway or H-3 is magical. The charms and comforts of Kailua town are endearing. (Funny.....we live in Kailua "Town," but when you go to "town" in Hawaii, you are going to Honolulu.) There are many small, colorful shops but all the amenities of a big town. The restaurants are delicious, and you can enjoy different cuisines every night. No need to choose a favorite. Need we mention the amazing beach literally at the front door? Kailua Beach is ranked as one of the world's premier beaches and Hawaii's safest. Its 3 miles of pristine white sands and blue waters are best viewed from our home.

Possibly the best beach access, the best beach, the best-accessorized home, in the best town in Hawaii. We offer A Taste Of Hawaii----Last summer, we hosted a family who was recommended to our home by a 'Hawaiian Kahuna' friend because 'this is the house that best represents what he wanted his vacationing friends to experience in Hawaii'.

We comply with the City and County of Honolulu laws with a 30-day rental period for our home. Honolulu Ordinance 22-7, "This property may not be rented for less than 30 consecutive days. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the number of days the rental is actually used or occupied."
