I graduated from Kalani High School and then earned a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Hawaii. My mother was born and raised in Hawaii and grew up in a Hawaiian speaking family. My father was born in Texas.
My husband of 20 years, Paul, is a surfer, my personal handyman and the renovator of this unit. He is also a journalist working as a news reporter, weather reporter and TV anchor at our local TV station, KITV Channel 4.

Why they chose this property
My husband and I have been trying to get a unit in this building for 4 years and finally we got lucky. We love the location of this building and the fact the there is a parking stall, which is extremely difficult to come by in Waikiki.

Also, parking is difficult to come by in Waikiki and the spot that comes with this unit is one of the best. Not only is it covered but it's very close to the lobby entrance and no stairs are needed to access the unit from the parking.
