About this property

CHARM, apartment in the heart of old Bayeux

Our apartment is located in the historic centre of Bayeux in a charming cobbled alleyway. You will undoubtedly appreciate its exceptional location at the foot of the shops, the Bayeux history and art museum, the restaurants, 30 meters from our cathedral, near our famous tapestry, the cinema and a few meters from the Tourist Office. It is a unique place. Everything is within walking distance! A paying car park is located in front of the building. Our accommodation is also an ideal place to discover the magnificent Norman monuments such as the Mont-Saint-Michel, the castles of Caen and Falaise, to immerse yourself in the history of the Second World War with the landing beaches and its various museums; to discover the cities of Deauville and Honfleur (city of lovers).
Our accommodation has just been completely renovated. It is composed of a living room with a sofa bed, a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, a fitted and equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher), a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The beds will be made on your arrival. It will not be necessary to bring sheets and towels or to do the cleaning (except for the kitchen) when you leave.
I also propose, if you wish, to welcome you (between 3 pm and 8 pm) to show you the best of our city and our region. In case of late arrival, a key box is available.
We hope you will have a pleasant stay in Normandy.

Bayeux Apartment April 28 - May 4, 2023

The apartment was perfect for my wife and me. It was a little bit quirky, but we enjoy that. Very comfortable and the location in the middle of town was stellar. We had some communication challenges with the owner, with us speaking only English and she speaking only French. But we worked through that. She was very gracious and patient with us.

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed the location: right down the street from the Cathedral, with a small parking lot across the road. The two large rooms were comfortable and well designed, with a functional kitchen and separate toilet and bath. Despite instructions from our host, however, we only got the key to work in the lock once. After 30 minutes of frustration the key finally moved the tumbler to open the door, but we were never able to lock the door. I also never got the beautiful new induction stove to work for me. But still a convenient and roomy apartment to enjoy.

We adore Bayeux. It is the perfect little town. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The location of this apartment is centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect location for a visit to Normandy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to quaint Bayeux! This property is located near the heart of the city, just steps from the Cathedral, amazing cuisine options, and shops. This location allowed for some peace and quiet (except for the seagulls), which was appreciated after long days touring the Normandy battlefield sites, museums, and Bayeux. We were impressed by how much there was to explore and visit right there in the town including the self-guided walking tour.

Séjour instructif, plein d'émotions et très varié depuis la tapisserie de Bayeux en passant par les plages du débarquement pour revenir à la dentelle au fuseau et à la porcelaine de Bayeux. De nombreux musées riches variés et très documentés. A faire absolument pour retrouver les priorités et oublier les petits aléas de la vie quotidienne. Bref une grande bouffée d'histoire et d'air pur.

L'appartement est très spacieux et tout à fait conforme à l'annonce, voir mieux en réalité car les volumes des pièces sont importants . Très bien situé, puisque en centre ville de Bayeux, donc proche de tous les commerces et restaurants, mais également des emplacements touristiques et culturels de la ville. C'est également un emplacement idéal pour visiter les plages du Débarquement et toute cette partie de la Normandie.

Très bel appartement idéalement situé

L appartement est tout neuf, rénové et meublé avec goût. Idéalement placé à 50 mètres de la cathédrale. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent et la propriétaire est très accueillante.
