Cozy cabin on the river #6024

(New in the Spring of 2025! a second bedroom). Spacious cabin only feet from the Big Thompson River and walking distance to Breweries, Restaurants and shops. Let River Bend Retreat be your home away from home while you explore Estes Park and RMNP. Ideal for a couple or a couple with 2 children.
The private bedroom has a queen bed, and a new second bedroom with a King bed.
Large bathroom with Jetted tub and separate shower and stack-able washer/dryer. The Kitchen has full size appliances ready to cook the perfect meal or BBQ some steaks on the gas grill on the deck. Separate dining room has plenty of room for 4. Ramp access allows for easy to the decks and home. New gas fireplace in the living room, Perfect for those cool nights or just because. This home is not secluded and is among other cabins.

This home is fully stocked with bed linens, towels, extra blankets, soaps and shampoo. The kitchen has pots, pans and dishes plus silverware. A standard coffee maker and a Keurig, toaster, blender, crock pot too. A washer and dryer with laundry pods to use.

This home is managed by Rocky Mountains Property Services, a family owned and operated business local to Estes Park.

Rocky Mountain National Park will implement another pilot temporary timed entry permit reservation system from May 23 through October 20, 2025. If you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park during your stay please visit their website for details about reservations.

We truly enjoyed staying in this cabin/home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was great. We enjoyed staying so close to the river. We had deer and elk visiting daily. We will be back to stay here for future visits.

Perfect cabin

We stayed here for a week and it is close enough to main st and RMNP and just far enough away to relax. Would definitely go back and stay here again

Spring Break

Overall, wonderful little cabin. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town, but perfectly located to all amenities. A little light on supplies (two rolls of toilet paper and being anowed in three days with runny noses was a little tight), but seriously a wonderful little cabin to spend time with family.

Cabin by the River

This little cabin was great. It was a great location in that it wasn't in the heart of the hustle and bustle of town but yet it was walking distance from town. Everything we could have needed was there. We loved hearing the sound of the river. It was the perfect size for us and our two daughters. The kitchen was nicely equipped and stocked with everything we needed. Our daughters loved the jacuzzi bathtub. The owner added such nice touches like fresh cut flowers. Would like to come back again.

Fantastic Retreat!!

We absolutely LOVED this vacation rental!! Absolutely gorgeous, stocked with everything we would need as far as dishes, utensils, spices, oils, condiments, and soaps and the river right off the back deck for fishing :), right around the corner from the RMNP entrance, extremely comfortable sleeping, elk in the yard some of the time, perfect location for all of the shops and restaurants in town. We stayed for a week and hope to go back next year! We found flowers in a vase for us when we arrived, a personal note, and bottled water in the fridge! The rental was perfectly clean and maintained, we had notes and contact info for any questions, and cannot say enough good about this place :) Excellent retreat!!

Peaceful cabin in great location!

We stayed for a week in this cabin and loved it. It is a great location, you can walk to downtown Estes and at the same time it's an easy drive to RMNP since you already skipped most of the Estes traffic. In the morning you can stroll around and see wildlife, or you can relax and just watch the Thompson river. The cabin was sparkling at our arrival and Calle graciously provided a pack & play crib in pristine condition for our baby. The kitchen was stocked with essentials (pots, pans, oil, salt, etc.) plus additional goodies (there was ice cream in the freezer!). This is a very nice home, we'll definitely try to stay here again when we visit Estes.

Cozy Cabin on the River

First, check-in was a piece of cake. Next, when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised how open and big the cabin felt. We were traveling with our under age 2 toddler and we had plenty of room for toys, suitcases, and pack-n-play. From the bar stools to dining table and living room furniture there was plenty of seating and all comfortable. I do have to say the beautiful deck facing the river could use some upgraded furniture though. Only a built in bench and old patio table available. The bedroom had plenty of storage and hangers, however the bed could definitely use an updating. The mattress sunk in, in the middle and the linens didnt fit properly. The large bathroom and laundry area (with tide pods provided) was very conventient too. Along the edge of and near bathtub window could use a good cleaning though. Overall, other than the bed, we loved the cabin and would recommend and return ourselves.

Relaxing stay

We were very impressed with the cabin. It was clean, had a very nice bathroom, comfortable beds, the kitchen was well stocked with basic condiments and seasonings and had nice cook wear. The river was very peaceful. It was a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. The one thing that was missing in the kitchen was a meat thermometer. We enjoyed each afternoon on the deck. Would highly recommend if your looking for a well equipped, clean, cabin to relax in Estes Park!

River Bend

My husband and I stayed at the River Bend cabin C for a week in September 2024. The cabin was well equipped and clean. It was right next to the river and we would sit out on the back deck and enjoy the sounds. It is directly across from a BBQ truck and a store. It had a room with a bed that would pull out so we could have had a guest or two but it would not be private as you walk through that room to get to the living room and bedroom. The bed was a queen and we are used to a king so it was a little small for us plus it was a soft bed and we are used to a harder mattress.. it wasn’t too far to drive into town but you probably wouldn’t want to try to walk it. We kind of wish there was a bridge across the river to the store and food truck. We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the cabin.

Wonderful vacation in Estes park!

Right next to the river

Clean cabin and comfortable. The river is much closer than it appeared in the photos. Sitting on the deck listening to the river was very nice and even though other reviews said it was noisy, we found it to be perfectly fine. Beds were comfy, even Murphy Bed. Nice comfy cabin and we would definitely stay there again.
