I will not rent to this guest again. Yes, we had an unfortunate situation due to doors being left open. A squirrel apparently got into the attic, dying and producing an odor. When guest contacted the property manager she immediately went over to the property, had pest service meet her there. The problem was immediately rectified. Ozone machine and clear air machine were used to remove any lingering odor. This guest had already received a $750 discount upon booking. This guest asked the property manager to discount another $750. Property manager even offered to move the guest to another property. The guest refused only wanting more money discounted. Guest communicated with the property manager everything was fine. Our home sleeps 14, there were only supposed to be 10 people. In other words there were still available beds although the room in question had been slept in. I would not consider renting to this guest again due to her threatening manner after departure to our property manager and wanting a free vacation.

Homeowners Beware. Unfortunately what we have here is a disgruntled guest that all the allegations he listed were proven to be factual truth. Myself and property manager provided video footage to VRBO which they viewed plus pictures of other damages the very same day of your checkout. What’s sickening about this thing is that you would be such a dishonest person in your review. We strive and work very hard to accommodate all of our guest and maintain the property. You arrived on a day of rain and wind . Our pool company did not come until the following day. The pool is cleaned twice a week and we have had no other complaints about the pool. Homeowners like myself do not not appreciate guest like you. How would the people in your party you claim are VRBO owners feel if this was there property that was damaged? All the more they should have known better. It amazes me that you had no issues with your overall stay until you got caught violating house rules. If I was lying and could not prove the damages I would have not received the damage deposit. Hopefully if you have an opportunity to stay in another VRBO property you will not damage it as you damaged ours.
