Tranquil environment, Nice Walking Trails. Cabin was wonderful. We have been doing girls getaway (sister, mom, aunt) for 8 years, we loved the cabin and grounds. Highly recommend this location.

We enjoyed our short stay at In the Woods cabin suite. It is in a rural and very quiet location …definitely away from it all. The suite was immaculate and very comfortable. We appreciated the supply of K cups since we didn’t bring any.We recommend this suite to anyone who wants to visit Amish country….private, and yet, not too far away from shopping and restaurants.

Girls Weekend

A beautiful and relaxing weekend for my sisters and I. The cabin was perfect sized, clean and more beautiful than we could have hoped for. The grounds were lovely with hiking trails and all of the amenities for a campfire provided. Thank you for making our weekend even more special!

This was a girls trip. Very nice and relaxing. A little disappointed that there was no porch. Just a small table with chairs. Pictures led us to believe there was a covered porch but that was another unit.

Perfect getaway!

Absolutely wonderful! This property was exactly what it's advertised to be. A return trip is necessary. Peaceful, quiet and lot's to do in the area. Merchants and vendors were very friendly and helpful with directions. Being greeted by the owner upon arrival added a feel good personal touch as well. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer than the two nights. Next time!❤️

Extremely Beautiful!

The grounds were impeccably kept! I could not find a dandylion anywhere. We never had to leave this property for anything. We ordered food in and it was delivered right to our door. It was so much fun just sitting and watching how the Amish near by live and work. The sounds of nature were wonderful . Spring is a great time to visit this property.

Growing up on a dairy farm across the road from what is now our lodge property, Duane Miller (co-owner with his wife, Gwen) later in his life saw an opportunity to purchase part of a farm, which years later became the location for our lodge. What started out as two, private lodge suites grew into twelve private, luxury lodge suites and two luxury, cabin suites. Duane grew up Amish on a large farm in Holmes County, Ohio and Gwen was raised in the rural countryside of Coshocton County, Ohio. Both enjoy sharing their love of nature, farm-country, and the peaceful countryside with their guests.

What makes this property unique

Our property provides a peaceful place for guests to unwind. Enjoy watching the rippling waters on the lake or the horses and cows in the farm fields adjacent to our property. Breathe in the quiet serenity while sitting at the stone courtyard located in front of the lodge. Spend the evening visiting with friends around the fire pit or snuggle up with your special someone underneath a blanket of stars on the swing by the lake. Stroll peacefully through our woods on the well-maintained trails and enjoy the serenity of nature on one of the benches along the way.
