A lovely gite in a truly beautiful village, which is walking distance from the property. The location is perfect for exploring the Loire valley. The facilities were excellent and the house was more spacious than we had expected. The pool was great, and we frequently had it to ourselves. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. All in all, it was all we had hoped for and more.

Large gite in quaint location

Large gite for a family of four with shared pool on site. Short stroll into the village of Montresor which has a local supermarket, petrol pump, bakery, tabac, bar, tourist office, crepe restaurant and of course the chateau.

Wat een rust en ruimte op romantisch plekje

We hebben genoten van het mooie huis en de grote tuin op loopafstand van het pittoreske dorpje Montrésor. Prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor wie even afstand wil nemen van de hectiek van alledag zeker een aanrader.

Lovely place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the very spacious Moulin. Sophie and Alain were very helpful and friendly, and we loved being able to walk into Montresor from our lodging. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, so were able to prepare breakfast and dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and dine at the table with umbrella in the garden, surrounded by roses.

Petite semaine Montrésor

Nous avons passé un tres agreable sejour dans cette jolie maison, idealement situee par rapport aux sites que nous souhaitions visiter : Amboise et chateau du Clos Lucé, Loches et la cité royale, domaine de Chaumont sur Loire. La maison est confortable et tres bien equipee, conforme en tous points a l'annonce. Exterieur verdoyant et bien entretenu, spacieux, permettant de manger dehors et de se detendre en toute intimité. Accueil tres agreable des proprietaires des lieux. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Lovey gite in French village

We had a lovely stay in Montresor. The area is quiet but there is a restaurant within walking distance. The house is spacious and and the pool was amazing and often had it to ourselves! We had some issues with the rooms being too hot but these were solved almost immediately by the host buying fans. The house could have done with a more substantial clean.

Très belle location !

Nous avons passé 3 jours très agréable dans cette belle maison. Elle est en très bon état, bien équipé, et le jardin est très grand et très calme. Elle se trouve dans un très joli village, et se trouve à un emplacement idéal pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire ou le zoo de Beauval. Je recommande !

Très bon week-end d’automne passé dans ce gîte du moulin de Montrésor. Gîte très bien équipé, spacieux et avec un environnement magnifique. Dans un village très joli, proche du zoo de Beauval et de tous les châteaux, un emplacement parfait!

maison authentique dans un écrin de verdure

Très bon accueil et service des propriétaires ( renvoi de livres oubliés ) . Maison très agréable propre spacieuse avec une décoration raffinée et proche des commerces d'alimentation . Seul bémol le soleil n'était pas au rendez vous pour profiter pleinement de la piscine !

De Gite is leuker dan de foto's met veel charme ingericht, dorp met boulanger en supermarkt op loop afstand. Uitstekende service en opvang van gastvrouw en -heer.

Charme et confort

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au moulin de Montrésor. La propriété est pleine de charme et la maison secondaire que nous avons loué était très jolie et confortable avec tout le nécéssaire du quotidien. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis et le village de Montrésor, que l'on peut visiter à pied du moulin, est magnifique, son château également. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Deux familles avec enfants
