Coastal Blue House is a 1940s house completely renovated—all new furniture, appliances, and kitchenware. CBH is an open-concept home with 2 spacious bedrooms, queen-sized beds, and large closets. Original hardwood flooring and new tile throughout. The living room has a sofa bed and smart TV. Bring your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime passwords and enjoy your favorite movies on a 50-inch TV. The digital antenna is provided for local channels—a newly designed walk-in shower and restroom. The kitchen has all new appliances, cabinets, and countertops. Sit on the front porch and listen to the waves crashing while enjoying your favorite beverage! Free parking onsite with security cameras and lighting. Walk 1.5 blocks to Seawall Blvd. and rent a golf cart, 4-wheeled surrey, or bicycle. Walk three blocks to the famous Gaidos Seafood Restaurant. Load up the house pull cart with provided ice chest, chairs, and beach toys, and walk to the 39th St. beach ramp to soak up the sun and plant your toes in the sand. Hop on the rubber-wheeled trolley on the 40th St. Seawall station.

Coastal Blue House is everything it advertises and more. Beautiful decor, clean, quiet neighborhood. Minutes from the beach. Close to shopping. We'll definitely refer and request this location for the future.

Great Rental & Perfect Off Beach Location

The house was in good shape with great decorations and aesthetics! They were very thoughtful in what they provide as well like the wagon, cooler, towels and chairs that made getting to the beach easy peasy! If you’re a light sleeper like me I would recommend a sleeping mask as the house is bright first thing.

Perfect!

The house was charming at first sight, and got better from there. Decorated with a "beachy" theme without veering into tacky. Everything we wanted was near at hand, from coffee and snacks to laundry detergent. 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, and we even had a small flock of white ibises in the yard one afternoon. We would sure stay again.

I recently retired from the local University hospital after 35 years of service. This is the 3rd house that I have renovated since 2018. I am a third-generation BOI (born on Isle) who loves the Isle life and wants to share it with you! I live in Galveston, so I can answer any questions you might have before your stay.

Why they chose this property

When I purchased this property it had not been lived in for several years and just about everything needed updating. or replacing. What I really liked about the house is the location, location, location! CBH is 1.5 blocks from Seawall Blvd. and 3 blocks from the rubber-wheeled trolley stop. The house has been totally renovated with all new appliances, fixtures, and utilities.

What makes this property unique

CBH is located 2 blocks from Seawall and near the center of the city. Head a few miles east to enjoy the Pleasure Pier, or head downtown to the Strand Historic District. Head west a few miles and enjoy Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn waterpark. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the cool Gulf breeze while listening to the waves crashing with your favorite beverage. Walk a block towards the Seawall, rent a golf cart, 4-wheel surrey, or bike, and cruise up and down the seawall! The famous Gaidos seafood restaurant is a 3.5-block walk away. Be sure to make reservations. There are plenty of other eateries nearby that can be found on your Yelp app.
