Amazing stay

Everything was absolutely perfect and so clean. In a walks distance to beautiful attractions and places, as well as the old city. Beautiful place! The owner was also very lovely and recommended places to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment, gracious helpful host

The apartment is lovely and the location is great. Close to local cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the main parts of Lisbon. Very quiet. And lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts in the apartment and good tips on where to go - nothing was too much trouble for Joao. Highly recommended.

A real gem

This property was equipped well beyond expectation. Super clean. Walking distance to everything. Great restaurant next door! It is located on a hill (it's Lisbon after all) and on 3rd floor but well worth the view and always a nice breeze. Joao followed up to see if we needed anything. Highly recommended.

L hébergement est parfait à tous points de vue: situation, propreté, équipement, calme.L hôte est très réactif, soucieux du bien être des personnes qu'il accueille. Tout est fait avec l intention de rendre le séjour agréable. Par exemple nous étions 6 personnes et…. 6 clefs de l appartement étaient mises à notre disposition, il y a une réserve de café, de papiers toilette…et une bouteille de vin blanc dans le frigo Joao est très disponible et répond quasi instantanément à toute sorte de questions et ses conseils pour visiter Lisbonne sont très utilesSa fille Susana qui nous a accueillie est tout aussi charmante et disponible Nous recommandons sans aucune restriction

Je n'ai pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer personnellement ce groupe, car c'est ma fille qui s'est occupée de l'enregistrement. Cependant, ma fille m'a fait leur éloge, disant qu'elle avait beaucoup apprécié discuter avec elles. J'ai moi aussi été très impressionné lorsque, en arrivant à l'appartement (après le check-out), je l'ai trouvé si propre qu'il semblait n'y avoir eu personne, si ce n'est le linge de lit et les serviettes, tous pliés et prêts à être lavés. Cela en dit long sur le civisme et l'éducation de ce groupe, que je tiens à remercier et à qui je garantis qu'il sera toujours le bienvenu. Merci.

Lovely apartment in great Lisbon location

We loved this apartment, it really suited us. It was very clean and also full of character. The location was ideal, the apartment is near the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, good for an easy stroll into Baixa or you could hop on the metro for a brief couple of stops. There are interesting views onto the rooftops from the balconies.

Wonderful Apartment in and even Better Neighborhood

What a beautiful property! This apartment had such charm! It was beautifully appointed, Joao was very helpful and informative. The neighborhood itself was what I would consider quintessential Lisbon...narrow, cobbled streets lined with historic buildings. Close to public transport, lots of restaurants near by. Wish we could hav stayed longer!

Great apartment

This is a very nice apartment, with three large bedrooms with classic, homely furniture and two modern bathrooms. It is in a very nice neighborhood, walking distance from the subway, and just a few stops away from all the city has to offer. Note that one of the bedrooms does not have windows. It does say so in the listing, but we somehow missed it. Apart from feeling a bit claustrophobic and missing an escape route, the interior bedroom was just as nice as the others.

Top Ausstattung, ruhig und Nahe am Zentrum

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar an die Verbrauchsmaterialien (Geschirrspül- und Waschmittel, Toilettenpapier) wurde in ausreichender Menge gedacht. Ein Supermarkt ist auch in 3 min Entfernung. Parkplätze im Viertel sind von 19-9 Uhr gratis. Und dennoch ist die Wohnung nachts sehr schön ruhig. Perfekt für unsere Woche Lissabon zu fünft.

Au cœur de Lisbonne

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement plein de charme au cœur de Lisbonne. João et sa fille nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et ont pris le temps de nous présenter ce que nous pouvions faire avec les enfants. L’appartement est bien équipé et notre hôte fournit ce qu’il faut pour que l’on se sente bien : petit déjeuner, café, thé et savon, shampoing et autres produits d’hygiène. À proximité, beaucoup de restaurants sympathiques, une supérette et tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour confortable.

Great appartment, fantastic location

Joao was a perfect host making us feel very welcome and providing advice when we needed it. The appartment is great and tucked away amongst an array of cobled side streets. It realy felt as if you were living with the locals. It was so quiet overnight, even though a festival was on, we over slept the first morning, very relaxing time. Only 5 mins from metro so can easily get to wherever you want. Would not hesitate in recommending appartment.

One of the best apartments in Lisbon, it's in the heart of the city, Metro is with in 10mins walk.

The Host Mr. João is one of the best hosts , very kind , understanding & helpful. The property was very clean. João had made all the basic arrangements for our breakfast and cote & basement tub for my baby without even asking for it. That was very thoughtful of him. We all enjoyed our stay in the apartment. If we ever plan of going to Lisbon again we would definitely wanna stay in this property. This host and apartment is highly recommended by me and my family who stayed over here. Thank you Joao

O apartamento é maravilhoso, todas as comodidades necessárias para 6 pessoas. Eu viajei com meu marido, meus dois filhos adultos e um dos seus amigosJoao foi a medida extra para atender às nossas necessidades. Recomendamos altamente este aluguel para a beleza do apartamento, as comodidades, a limpeza, a localização (caminhar em todos os lugares ou os transportes), e o anfitrião. Vi har haft en dejlig ferie i en dejlig lejlighed. Ejeren er imødekommende, venlig og meget hjælpsom. Vi kan kommunikere på engelsk uden problemer med far og datter. Derimod har vi fået et meget dårligt indtryk af HomeAway. Den første lejlighed vi lejede blev annulleret af ejeren og vi kunne ikke få vores depositum på 690 Euro tilbagebetalt. Jeg har aldring oplevet så dårlig og ukyndig en kundeservice, som den vi fik fra HomeAway. De var ikke i stand til at løse problemet. Betaling af depositum foregik via HomeAways hjemmesede, hvor de annoncerer med sikker betaling. De var ikke i stand til at fortælle os, hvordan vi fik dette depositum tilbagebetalt. Jeg kan på ingen måde anbefale HomeAway.

Lisboa cidade que me encanta

O proprietário é uma pessoa fora de série ,muito amável muito sério o que faz toda a diferença .Apartamento muito limpo ,com tudo o que é preciso tanto na cozinha como no resto da casa ,adorei mas como ele deve saber é muito difícil subir ao 3 andar aos 70 anos com malas e dai o meu desagrado e falta também o ar condicionado pois Lisboa é uma cidade quente e acho que o Senhor João já deve saber disso .Recomendo e apesar das escadas voltarei meus netos adoraram assim como meu filho e nora que não conheciam Lisboa ,de regresso à França prometo voltar assim que possível .Obrigada Senhor João Poço o sua gentileza me tocou muito ,até breve Justine e António Costa !!!!!

Muito obrigado pelas amáveis palavras que me endereçou. Ficamos sempre muito na expectativa pela opinião de nossos hóspedes pois é assim que podemos tentar corrigir algo menos bom. Compreendemos a dificuldade de subir ao 3 piso e por isso o referimos expressamente na apresentação da casa, mas a vista esperamos que compense. O ar condicionado é uma mais valia que temos intenção, logo que possível, de acrescentar ao apartamento. Não está muito generalizado em Lisboa pois embora as temperaturas diurnas em agosto sejam algo elevadas a noite é geralmente fresca devido à proximidade do mar.

Great place to stay and great owner!!!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and in a great location! It was fun to stay in a local neighborhood instead of a hotel. Walking distance to shopping, eating, the metro and bus lines. Gut gelegene, hübsche Wohnung mit allem Notwendigen und freundlicher hilfsbereiter Vermieter!

Wir (fünf Personen) waren acht Tage in Lissabon. Die Übernahme der Wohnung hat perfekt geklappt, die Wohnung sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr günstig gelegen. Wir konnten fast Alles zu Fuss erreichen, die Metro ist etwa 300 m entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es reichlich touristische aber auch kleine einheimische Restaurants in den kleinen Gassen (sehr zu empfehlen). Küche mit allem drum und dran und reichlich Geschirr ist vorhanden, kleine Einkäufe in den Geschäften direkt in der Nähe möglich. Uns hat die Stadt und Wohnung sehr gut gefallen. In jedem Falle eine zweite Reise wert.
