We stayed here in December ’25 and it was perfect for our family of four (parents, teen daughter, and grandfather). We highly recommend this property for its amenities, host, and excellent location.Mario, our host, was wonderful—great communication, met us at check‑in, and even offered a late checkout after we had a small accident (we didn’t need it but appreciated the gesture). This Chiado location is ideal for sightseeing, with walking access to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Three metro stations and the Rossio train station are nearby, making it a great home base for exploring Lisbon or taking day trips. The property was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, including space heaters, games, and toys. Being on the ground level made it especially convenient.A few notes for travelers with specific needs. There is a small step at the entrance and in a couple of interior areas, though most rooms are on one level. Other reviewers mention a small bathroom. This may be challenging for larger guests, but we managed fine. This area of Lisbon has steep, cobblestone streets and sections with stairs. We mistakenly took a staircase-heavy shortcut from Rossio Metro, which was difficult for our 75‑year‑old. A slightly longer, stair‑free route is available and we subsequently took that instead. We highly recommend this location and hope to stay again in the future.
