About this property
Panoramic Ocean Views - Close to Local Favorite Restuarants
If endless ocean views and gentle summer winds are what you envision when looking for a beach retreat, then look no further. This three-bedroom ranch was thoughtfully re-designed and tastefully renovated from top to bottom, leaving nothing for you to do but bring your bags. Wake up to the breathtaking sunrise over the ocean and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves; you may find yourself spending hours on the farmer's porch absorbing all the natural beauty surrounding you. Come on in and stay awhile, this professionally decorated house instantly feels like home, and each bedroom is equipped with a 43" TV or catch up on Netflix on the 55" TV in the ocean-view living room. You'll stay cool with the central air, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, a gas stove, fridge with icemaker, and even a stackable washer & dryer for your convenience. Soak up the sun out in the nicely sized, level backyard that has all new outdoor furniture, then fire up the gas grill to make dinner for you and your guests to enjoy camaraderie & lively relaxation. Rinse off from a day at the beach in the outdoor shower, and for that unmatchable fresh scent, hang your towel on the clothesline. Speaking of strolling the golden sands, you're a 5-minute drive to two state beaches, Scarborough & Roger Wheeler. If kayaks & SUP are more your thing, Narrow River is just a few miles away; if you're visiting during the full moon, book them in advance for twilight tours! For a truly memorable day trip, take the 6-minute drive to Point Judith and hop the ferry to Block Island, known as "the Bermuda of the North", where you'll find 17 miles of pristine beaches on the Sound, a wildlife preserve, biking, water sports, and a truly charming small coastal town vibe. Don't feel like cooking? You're practically a seashell's throw from well-known restaurants, some with ocean views, such as Chair 5, Aunt Carrie's, Spain, and George's of Galilee. Make yourself at home at Summer Wind, where the days go on and on and the nights never end, a gem you'll want to rediscover time and again!
Additional amenity charges for summer guests: Professionally laundered bedsheets, bath towels, and light comforters are provided for all occupants. Beds are made only once, prior to arrival (multiple week guests will have linens dropped off starting their 2nd week). Multiple week guests are charged the linen fee per week at a discounted rate. Beach towels are not included. Guests that book 14 nights or greater will be charged an additional $25 cleaning fee. I really enjoyed staying at this property with my wife and toddler daughter for a week this August. House is ideally located in Narragansett - four minutes from two beaches, walking distance from a few restaurants and ice cream, and a short drive to basically everything else the town and surrounding ones have to offer. We loved the view of the water out the front windows, too. Everything was true to the description, the house was clean and well appointed, and the process for checking in and out was very seamless.
We loved this little cottage so much. It's pristine and new on the inside and the décor is so cute (I'm jealous that I have to go home!) It was the perfect size for the four of us and had everything we needed. There was an issue on the first day with one of the doors and they sent someone over to help us immediately. I loved the professionally cleaned linens -- nice touch and made checkout easier without having to do laundry. It's a great neighborhood with ice cream and seafood in walking distance. In the back is a fenced in yard for the kids to play. There's a shed with tons of chairs and boogie boards which was a must at the wavy beach. Across the street is the ocean. Not good for a beach day (beaches are so close though with tons of parking). You can scurry down the rocks and watch the surfers when the waves are wild. Loved it and was so sad to leave!
