Former mill adjoining the Château de Courmenant (12th century), in the heart of a vast estate (7000 m²) crossed by the Vègre River, which once powered the mill wheel.
This cottage is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Classified as a second-category fishing area, it offers year-round fishing for whitefish such as perch, roach, and gudgeon.

Pike and zander are also fished from late April until the end of January of the following year.

The 1000 m² enclosed garden is landscaped with trees and flowers and features a terrace and a swing set.

Wi-Fi and heating are included.

Ground floor: living/dining room, fitted kitchen, 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190 cm), bathroom, separate WC.

Upstairs: Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140x190cm), 1 single bed (90x190cm), 1 double bed (120x180cm), and 1 cot; Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140x190cm), Bedroom 3: single bed (90x190cm); bathroom, separate WC. Amenities: Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TV, freezer, high chair, and cot.

Included: Wi-Fi, heating (heat pump), and electricity.

The cottage was as described. Rustic and in a rural area which was exactly what our group wanted.We were greeted on arrival by the host, who spoke only French which was not a problem. She was very helpful and explained everything to us.The Gite was clean, spacious and was everything we could wish for. After a long day at the Le Mans Classic event it was a pleasure to return to the Gite.
