This stunning, modern villa is set in a peaceful location with mature sub tropical gardens, close to many beautiful beaches, a variety of bars and restaurants, shops, golf and tennis.

The nearest beach, Praia do Centianes, is just a 15 walk away and within 5 minutes drive there are many more fabulous beaches to choose from. The lighthouse bar and restaurant at Clube Golfemar with its panaromaic sea view and children's play area is just a 5 minute walk away. A small supermarket at the Rocha Brava resort is within easy walking distance and there are numerous large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive.

The villa is ideal for groups or families sleeping 10-12. There are 5 bedrooms all with en-suites and a ground floor games room that can be used as a 6th bedroom for children sleeping two in a sofa bed. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a King size bed. On the first floor there are three twin bedroom and the master bedroom with king size bed and plasma tv Doors lead from the master bedroom into a large balcony terrace with a lovely view over the pool and gardens and out to sea.

The villa has a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan lounge and dining area with patio doors opening out onto the terrace and pool area. The living room has a large plasma television, cable tv with english channels, a playstation 3, and cd/ dvd player, books

The children’s games room has a football table, toy chest, bean bags and sofa, ideal to keep the kids entertained and out of the sun at the hottest part of the day!

The villa is air conditioned throughout and also has a wood burner for the winter months.

The outside of the property centres around a large 12 x 6m kidney shaped swimming pool (heating optional at 180 GBP per week). Next to the pool is a covered terrace with a large dining table and chairs and table tennis Set back a little higher in the garden is a lit barbecue terrace area with a circular table and chairs, giving two alfresco dining options at this lovely property. There is also a lawned area with football goal and basketball net, providing a perfect area for children to play safely away from the poolside.

The villa is accessed by electric gates and is fully fenced in. It has electric roller shutters and alarm making it a safe and secure place to spend your holiday.

Everything was just perfect! It was a great week and the weather topped it of. The Host could not have been more helpful answering our requests and questions. Hope to go back sometime.

We were a family ages from 10 months to 76years and we all had a fabulous holiday in Villa Gemma! The house and pool are spotlessly clean with everything you need in the kitchen. Shops and restaurants are walkable with the larger supermarkets a short drive away. This is our second stay and hope it will not be our last.

Special birthday with family

The property was very well looked after, the facilities were good. The location was perfect, quiet but near to enough to go for walks and different bars and restaurants. The outdoor furniture could do with updating as it was tired. The pool was very nice and terrace was large with plenty of space. If I could change anything, would be to make the twin room upstairs into a double bed. Great holiday and would love to go back again.

A little piece of paradise

Not a bad word can be said about the villa, from the air conditioning, to en-suites in every bedroom. The pool was excellent and just the right size if you wanted to open up and do a few lengths. Paul and cindy were great hosts and always there if we had any queries. Already thinking about coming back next year

Beautiful villa, contains everything you could possibly need for a wonderful family holiday, the pool is just superb! Bedrooms are spacious and en-suite in each room is just amazing. Great location, really good restaurants you can walk to, lovely beach is walkable too - all in all we couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

Wir -2 Familien mit insgesamt 6 Kindern- haben Anfang Oktober 2018 einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. Den Kindern hat der Pool am besten gefallen (im Oktober Heizung anfragen!) und uns Erwachsenen der Grillplatz hinter dem Haus. Hier haben wir viele schöne Stunden verbracht. Im Haus selber ist von Vorteil, dass jedes Zimmer sein eigenes Bad hat. Diskussionen wer wann duschen will, bleiben damit aus. Die große Küche hat auch alles was man braucht und bietet genug Platz, wenn man zu mehreren Personen kochen will. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, nicht zu weit von den Stränden und dem Städtchen Carvoeiro entfernt, und trotzdem kann man die Ruhe genießen. Wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen und würden selber am liebsten direkt nochmal buchen.

Exquisite villa - One of The Best In Algarve

Our stay at Villa Gemma was truly outstanding. From the booking process, which was smooth with excellent communication throughout, to the check in process, to the villa management, the service was unparalleled. Highly attentive, kind, warm and professional - they went out of their way many times. The villa itself was breathtaking - very spacious, super comfortable, beautiful decor and luxuriously furnished & equipped, all the mod-cons you would hope for (excellent air-conditioning etc), a very well stocked modern kitchen (a cook's dream with two ovens) plus all the other wonderful extras: table tennis, mini-football pitch, stunning bbq area - made this villa a dream. Also - even though it was a struggle to leave the stunning grounds of the villa - when you do, it's close to the best beaches (one minute by car or a 10 minute walk). Whether you're a small or big group, the villa is laid out in a way that gives you privacy when you need it, but also offers larger entertainment areas for the group when you come together at one time - whether it's for meals or lounging about the pool. This is quite unusual, because sometimes, even larger villas don't have enough dining spaces - but Villa Gemma not only offer several spaces for dining, but ample seating too - so your whole group is comfortable around the table. The villa was kept in immaculate condition by cleaners (who visited twice). Also the security of the villa was top notch - so you always feel secure. This may sound like a cliche, but the pics don't do justice. There's a warmth and luxury to this villa; truly very special that no picture can capture. We remain grateful for the wonderful, unforgettable stay and beautiful memories.

A wonderful villa.

The villa was wonderful. It was in excellent shape and ready for our arrival. The location, furnishings, bedrooms, bathrooms and exterior were all fantastic for our family. Everything was well maintained and in great working order. The pool was a great value, we all took full advantage of it. Beyond the physical accommodations which were fantastic, the owner and the couple who help manage the property, Paul and Cindy, were very responsive and helpful with all of our needs. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a vacation retreat.

Excellent well equipped modern villa

Just returned from a stay at Villa Gemma with my family and had a wonderful time. The villa is extremely clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could need for dining at home, if you wish, and the villa is very spacious. The younger children really enjoyed the playroom. Paul and Cindy, the villa mangers were extremely helpful getting us a welcome pack of food for our arrival and giving us plenty of local info. The villa is in a good position, far enough from the main town to be peaceful and quiet whilst relaxing but close enough to walk to bars and restaurants and beach. Carvoeiro town is only a 5 minute drive away with lots of good restaurants and nightlife. Would highly recommend the restaurants Ele and Ela and Happy's in Carvoeiro town and Julios on the main road about 10 minutes walk from the villa. There is a small shop just down the road, its a little pricey but ok if you run out of milk. larger supermarkets are only 5 minutes drive. All in all we couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend the villa.

Fantastic holiday at villa Gemma

Villa Gemma is fantastic. It has a lovely swimming pool and terrace area, spacious comfortable living room, a modern well equipped kitchen, very nice large bedrooms with ensuites and plenty of space for the kids to play, including a playroom! There were 10 of us staying here and we never felt on top of each other. You can walk to a few restaurants down the road. We loved the lighthouse restaurant and bar, it has a spectacular sea view and a nice children's play area. I would say a car is required though for getting to the supermarket and the beaches. All in all a great holiday had by all and we would certainly recommend it.

A wonderful holiday at Villa Gemma

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at Villa Gemma. Its a beautiful, modern, spacious villa that is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are all a good size and very comfortable, all have nice ensuites. The location is great with a selection of good restaurants all within easy walking distance. There is a beach thats walking distance but we did hire a car so got out and explored some of the others local beaches too. There are some stunning beaches within 10 minutes drive of the villa. We love Carvoeiro and have holidayed in many villas in the area and this is one we would definitely return to.
