Mauna Lani Beach Club Access Guests enjoy access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club with keycard entry. This sheltered white-sand beach is excellent for snorkeling and family beach days. Guest beach chairs are available, and Napua Restaurant offers beachfront dining and drinks just steps from the sand.
Location Kulalani 2402 is a short walk or quick drive to the Shops at Mauna Lani, where you'll find Foodland Farms, Mauna Lani Coffee Company, Juice 101, and several restaurants and boutiques. Nearby walking paths, golf courses, and Holoholokai Beach Park make exploring the area easy. Hapuna Beach and Mauna Kea Beach are also just a short drive away.
Pest Control & Maintenance Notice Interior pest control is scheduled for March 5, June 4, September 3, and December 3, 2026.
Additionally, Kulalani will be undergoing building remediation construction beginning January 2026 through December 2027. Work will rotate between buildings. Please inquire for details regarding the proximity of active construction to this unit.

Wonderful stay, spacious with easy access to Hapuna beach. Grocery story super close. The private beach was nothing special but the pool was nice. Would definitely stay again.
The property was very impressive. Great communication with property management. The location of the property for Ironman triathlon was excellent. All necessities provided including new beach chairs, towels, beach bag and snorkeling equipment. The property was a good size with huge master bedroom/bathroom. Lots of room for family of four plus grandparents.
Another Beautiful Relaxing week in the Mauna Lani Community.
Well appointed. Spotless, clean & comfortable. Our family of 4 had a lovely stay. My son used the gym and community facilities daily. The pool was quiet & friendly. The adjacency of the two resorts, restaurants & grocery expanded dining choices & made everything convenient. We had a couple minor requests from management and their response was immediate & helpful. We will be back.
A very comfortable place in beautiful Mauna Lani. Well equipped. Just a couple of things. The carpets need a good shampoo. It would be nice to have a couple of better beach chairs and a good beach umbrella. But we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Lots of room for our family of 6 to hangout. The kitchen and grill were great amenities to help keep food costs down. The beach access was the best part of this place and the beach equipment was another bonus! Check out requirements were easy too. The master suite was fantastic. The pool was a big hit with the kids and the property grounds were well manicured.
I didn't like that I had to download an app to communicate with the property management. Although, they did call to make sure we were settled and if we had any questions. On the surface the house was clean but I did have to wipe down most of the doors from dirty finger prints and clean out the hair out of the washing machine. The carpet needs a good washing soon too.

My husband, daughter and I spent a week in this amazing condo. It is extremely clean, comfortable and has plenty of room to spread out. The best part of this property is the location and the covered lanai. We enjoyed having coffee outdoors while watching the birds and discussing what adventures we had planned for the day. Wish we could have stayed longer….
Very spacious and comfortable! All the kitchen gadgets you need to prepare meals, plus a great outdoor grill on the lanai. Plenty of beach toys - boogie boards, swim rings, sand toys and folding chairs (but all 4 chairs are showing their age - rust and torn fabric - so could be replaced soon). The pool in the complex is lovely, but the one hot tub is very busy. Access to Mauna Lani Beach Club is definitely a plus! The jets in the huge tub in the master bath were not working and we mentioned this to the property manager, but we didn't want repairmen coming in on our vacation so I hope they repair them before the next renters come in. Otherwise the property was great.
Property was as expected, clean and well supplied. It is one of the original units in the complex but is in very good shape, garage is very small, you cannot park a minivan, but this unit has sufficient parking within walking distance. We will consider staying here again next year.

Kona Coast Vacations
Had everything we needed as two adults and 4 teens. Well-stocked kitchen. Excellent bbq on patio. Everything was in working order. It was nice to have a choice of parking outside or in the garage. Decent beach gear to borrow (boogie boards, chairs, towels, sand bucket, good umbrella.) The beach club is great! 5 minute drive away, parking pass and use of lounge chairs included, plus a restaurant with to-go drinks to walk down to the beach and a beach hut to rent a paddle board or kayak. Good easy snorkeling. Every morning I did an hour to hour and a half loop walk down to the beach, walk in front of Orchid and Mauna Lani hotels, and along the fish ponds and kalhuipua’a path, past the coffee place in The Shops (strip mall) that opens at 6am. The Shops is a 9 minute walk and includes a decent market, a couple of restaurants and snorkel bob’s. A lot of the stores are closed though (probably victims of the pandemic.) I’m having trouble thinking of any complaints. Beds were a little soft for my taste I guess. Overall very nice and we would stay there again.
After years and numerous trips to Maui we decided to see what the Big Island had and were not disappointed.
The unit is spacious (OMG, the master bed & bath are AWESOME), there was enough room for us and our three grown kids. The unit has almost everything you would need, with a well appointed kitchen and a outdoor barbeque area that is top notch. The grounds around the community pool are beautiful and having the separate lap pool, which requires quiet, is a peaceful oasis as well.
Overall great, but our concerns were;
* Kitchen fridge... water dispenser did not work and that was discovered when water was leaking all over the floor (a tech was sent out but could not fix the issue)
* Upstairs twin beds... my two kids who stayed there said the mattresses were fair to good, with very little support and uncomfortable
* Old beach chairs... people come to Hawaii and expect to go to the beach, with the old and limited number of beach chairs left us wanting; there should be one chair for each guest (unit can support up to six people, only have four chairs)
* Beach towels... there were enough towels for the pool but not for the beach, I would expect at least one of each for each guest
I did read the comment about a smart TV and agreed, but I was more bothered by the size of TVs provided in each room. While they are functional, for the type of rental and cost I would expect larger TVs in each room.
The property was amazing. We have never stayed in a place that was so well stocked from to to bottom. The place was beautiful, spacious and located very close to many amenities. We will be definitely back. Thank you!

Great area Property needs an Update.
I have been staying in Kululani for 12 years 2-3 x year, all good experiences. This was the most uncomfortable condo we have ever stayed in. Beds need to be updated, a goods night sleep was unattainable. Understanding that staying in Hawaii anywhere is beautiful, but this day and age a condo should have at least one smart television. Most people have their own Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu, etc. accounts., which are valid anywhere. There was a serious deficit in technology in this place. Just my opinion. The neighborhood itself is gorgeous, we will continue to go back, just not to that condo.

Most of our properties are equipped with at least one smart TV, with some owners, if their TV still works, there's no need to replace it. We do understand that in modern times, a smart TV is preferable and will share both points with the owner. Every one has different preferences in bed firmness, we normally equip our units with medium firm mattresses as a middle ground to those who prefer plush mattresses and those who prefer firm mattresses. We'll also send an inspector out to verify the beds are in an appropriate condition.
