This incredible property was completely re-built in 2014 over the footprint of the original Ludlow Grange Barn. Cool and contemporary, open and light, the interior offers high ceilings as well as incredible interior and exterior entertaining spaces. The main living spaces are all on one level with three bedrooms and two and a half modern-style baths. The bedrooms flank an enormous sunlit hall with striking vistas of the cathedral ceiling great room. The chef’s kitchen is modern, open and bright, with views of the fountain and pool. Also included is a huge private studio on the second story. This massive cathedral ceiling space, accessed through a private exterior staircase is complete with an additional bedroom suite, gym, office, and living area. The U-shaped residence surrounds a striking English garden, with views of the beautifully landscaped pool. The heated gunite pool is private and inviting, with grassy vistas on all sides. This property is located down a long driveway (approx 500 ft) and although located off Montauk highway, is extremely quiet and private. Bikes, surfboards and beach equipment can be provided.

Very spacious house with beautiful grounds and pool.

This is a lovely, very large house located in walking distance to Bridgehampton. The grounds are beautifully landscaped , especially around the pool area. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor. A separate outdoor entrance leads to the upstairs floor which has several more common rooms, including the gym , and a large bedroom. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and then if the house was very comfortable and had more than ample towels, etc.

Andrea and her husband purchased this property on 1999 and rescued an "old lady" from the wrecking ball. Together they painstakingly restored the main house back to its former glory and then applied for the variance to restore the barn and to turn it into living space for Andrea's parents to retire.

Why they chose this property

This property was the barn to a 200 year old farm once own by whaling captain Isaac Ludlow. In 2013 the barn was rebuilt by Amish barn builder from Lancaster Pennsylvania and boasts post and beam construction. It it truly a unique probers in the Hamptons.
