Such a great home and property. Super convenient location and spacious, clean, beautiful house! My colleagues were in the hamptons for work and it was perfect for our team. Ervin was super responsive and professional. He checked in on us everyday to make sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. Thank you!

Don't. be fooled ...
I don't know where to start and I am restricted as to how long this can be. The owners were great communicators and very welcoming, but our positive experience ended there. We drove. up to a huge dirt pile and wood scrapes, and downed branches around the yard. The steps to the front and side door where loose or missing (not great for a bunch of older ladies.) Inside, the space and the layout were great. But there were crumbs, unemptied garbage, shoes, toys and even controlled medications in a drawer. No hot water in the basement shower. Some beds so hard, slept on the couch instead. Bedding and many towels were old and kitchen dish towels were moldy. No wifi and while they were responsive, I ended up spending more than 2 hours and ended up using a hotspot. We have stayed at places rated 5 stars and they reflected it. This place was a whole new low. Especially upsetting as I made all the plans and this was a bucket list trip for this group.

I am very surprised and upset to see this harsh and inaccurate review given that I have never heard any such complaints from other renters - or even, in fact, from you during your stay. As you stated in your own words, I was a very communicative host so I don't understand why you wouldn't reach out to me about these supposed issues during your rental.
Nevertheless, I feel compelled to respond to each one of your baseless complaints:
The most serious allegation is that the steps are rickety. I have no idea what you're talking about. They are new and very sturdy. I asked several people to test them out to see if I was missing something because I would be very concerned about such safety issue and there's simply no basis to this claim. It also makes no sense that you say your mother had to sleep on the couch because of this given that we have a guest bedroom on the same floor. Along the same lines, I find it hard to believe that you're complaining about the mattresses being too soft. They were recently purchased with advice from realtors to suit the broadest array of potential renters. They are definitely not too hard as they are "contour" mattresses that are designed to provide optimal individualized comfort.
Regarding the "controlled substances," I initially had no idea what you were talking about but after doing an extensive search I discovered prescription medications clearly left behind by a prior renter. I really wish you would have had the courtesy to let me know right away so that we could have informed this person of the found medication.
I'm not sure which dish rag you think is moldy. They're all in overall good condition and we wash them after each renter vacates the house. Perhaps someone in your party used the rag and left it out wet or dirty without your knowledge. If that was a concern and you notified me, I would have told you to discard it since we have plenty in the house.
Regarding the wifi, it is spotty in this woodsy part of the Hamptons but no one has ever had serious issues that can't be resolved with a reboot or in the worst case by contacting the service provider. I gave you this info and would have helped you further if you informed me that you were still having issues.
As for the "pile of dirt," that is actually top soil that my gardener brought in to enhance the grass. It only measures 3 by 5 feet and was placed next to garbage pails at rear, not in the driveway as you stated.
You are the first renter to complain about the toys and games, which are stacked neatly in the family room, one of three dens in the house. Many of our renters are families with kids and even adults often remark that they enjoy the games and books we share with them. I'm sorry that you found that offensive.
Again, I am very disappointed by this review both because I pride myself on my exceptional reputation as a host (I have never had a rating below 5 stars before) and also because you never contacted me about any of this except the wifi (and didn't follow up on that) until after you left my property and gave me an unconscionable 1 star rating.
I would greatly appreciate if you removed this review, which I truly believe is unfairly harmful to me. In any case, I wish you and your mother the very best.
which could have been left. there slightly wet from one of your guests from the night before, and if you didn’t find it pleasant you could’ve thrown in the garbage and let me know. On the subject of the mattresses, they are brand new mattresses and if anything they’re too soft not too hard Needless to say, I am very disappointed if you go to the fact that every single one of my previous tenants for the last two years gave me four and five star reviews only 99.9% or five stars for you to give me one star it’s totally unfair. And unjust even according to all the things that you portrayed on a scale of one to five with all your disappointments, you should have given me at least a three, but not a one and I think it’s totally unjust, and I will do everything in my power to rectify it
Had a wonderful time staying at this house! It was larger and nicer than the photos showed. It was the perfect location, centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great time!!
The property manager is always accessible and the check in process was very smooth. The house is located in a great area that is right in between Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor. Would definitely come back to this property.
Ervin was a pleasure to deal with and he has a nicely decorated and clean house in Bridgehampton area. The high ceilings and skylights made parts of the interior even better in my opinion. The pool (the diving board was great) and outdoor bbq area and deck were also clean and well maintained. There is also a large half-court outdoor basketball court and plenty of yard for the kids to play in as well. We all really enjoyed our stay and the kids all had such an awesome time!
