This large country home, on one floor, is in the heart of the Tiny Beaches Area whose natural beauty and nature sounds will quickly make you forget where you were before you got here and provide you with some cherished memories to take home when you leave.

COTTAGE HAS THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:

1. Situated on half acre private and quiet lot.

2. Three large bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and 2 have new queen size beds. Bedroom 3 has two double beds. Bedrooms have empty closets, dressers with empty drawers.

3. Sleeps up to 8 persons

4. Many beaches to choose from and the lake water is great for swimming, fishing or boating. Beach wagon is provided with beach toys, floaties, folding chairs, beach blanket and towels and picnic basket and coolers. Bring your own watercraft - kayaks, canoes, life jackets etc

5. House is in the heart of the Simcoe Forest and surrounded by rural farms and just 15 km from Midland or Penetanguishene where you can find shopping and restaurants like Tim Horton's, Macdonald's, Walmart, Winners, Home Depot , Rona, Shoppers Drug Mart, Galaxy Cinemas etc. and many great local eaterys.

6. House contains amazing screened in porch along the whole front of house and also a smaller non screened sun deck at the back of the house with a BBQ which is great for eating, lounging. Also the backyard bunkie has a screened in porch with lounge chairs.

7. Guests have the use of vintage bicycles for riding around the quiet streets or to the nearby beautiful beaches.

8. Great Room with Living, Dining and Kitchen and hallways with ceramic tiles. Bedrooms have new hardwood flooring.

9. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, toaster, microwave, blender, espresso, drip and press coffee pots, coffee grinder, milk frother, hand mixer, blender, hand blender, electric knife and can opener. New dishes, pots and pans, utensils, serving platters, bowls, cutting boards, carving knives and sharpeners, salt and pepper, place mats, kids dishes, drinking glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, tea pots and tea cups, oven proof dishes, cake pans, cookie sheets, large "corn/pasta" pots and many more cooking supplies. BBQ cooking utensils.

10. Drinking water is supplied by Tiny Township and is tested daily - NOT WELL water.

11. Washer and dryer in the basement and a clothes line outside.

12. LARGE 55 inch TV, VHS/DVD player and large selection of classic VHS Tapes and DVDs for viewing movies. Huge selection of children's movies. Two local TV Channels. WiFi and Internet and Netflix and Prime video. Multiple radios.

13. Short walk to area beaches near or at 17th and 18th Concession

14. Parking pass provided for free beach parking. This is only provided to residents/renters. Note beach parking is restricted to the general public without a parking pass. Fire permit for bonfires in the backyard fire pit.

15. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and 12000 BTU Air Conditioner in main room which cools whole house

LINENS

Beds have sanitized mattress covers and two pillows with sanitized pillow cases which are washed and cleaned between rentals. Renters must provide bed linens and towels. Each bed includes a comforter, spare blankets and two pillows.

Lovely Stay in Tiny

This Tiny Country Home was an excellent stay for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and were very comfortable. Cherie and Sil were very welcoming, and even left us some unexpected treats to enjoy while we vacationed. The kids particularly enjoyed the crafts they left for them to do. We all enjoyed the large screened in front porch for all our meals and evenings reading. We will definitely be back.

Our favourite summer getaway

This was our second year renting this property and our expectations were exceeded once again! A clean, tidy, well kept home with a glorious screened-in porch that serves as a bonus outdoor living and dining space. Well appointed with all the necessary tools and equipment to make meals. Several nice beaches within walking distance. Fire pit in the yard with lots of wood provided to build fires. Owners are kind, friendly and responsive, and checked in regularly to ensure we had all we needed. We’ll be back next year!

Birthday get away!

My husband had a special birthday and we had hoped to go to the Netherlands where he was born. Of course during the pandemic this was impossible. i found this wonderful house online and we spent a restful week there with our son. When we arrived the owner was there and very friendly and helpful with the workings of the house. She had a welcome basket that included many Dutch treats! My husband had to share! I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. There are 3 bikes available and we used them. The cottage is near many beaches and we loved "Cove" beach the best. You need a parking pass to use beaches in Tiny township and that too was available. I highly recommend this Tiny house. (It's not tiny either!) I wish the week had been longer!

End of summer

We found this property and thought it would be a great idea for a last bit of fun before summers end . It worked out great, the number of beds and bedrooms everyone was happy. The screened in front porch was wonderful to sit in and have a morning coffee or breakfast and all of our dinners at the table and chairs. All the beaches close by either by walking or a quick ride were very good, everyone went swimming once sometimes twice a day. We had a couple of fires and roasted marshmallows. This place looks good from pictures and nothing more. It is not kept well or sanitized although it is specifically stated in the advertisement. I don't know where to start because nothing about this place was comfortable. From the mice droppings to the caked on grease in the kitchen to the moldy bathtub and dirty toilet. My partner and I did more cleaning then relaxing.. Was reminded 30 times of check times which leads me to believe they have no intention of keeping up the place but more so just getting a cash grab. Grounds are disgusting and BBQ was filthy. Emailed landlord directly with no response or acknowledgement of all the issues I stated in the email. It is my assumption they do not have a cleaning crew going in to this place for they rely on the people renting to clean it for the next renter. Our stay was awful and uncomfortable and they should be ashamed of themselves to propose such filthy accommodations. They state they comply with all Covid-19 regulations but from my experience there is a multitude of infractions. I wouldn't take this place if the renter offered it free. The only advice could offer here is just stay away and VRBO should take them off your site!

Great little getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage in the Tiny area. The owner supplies all of your needs and more in cooking/cleaning materials (TP, pots/pans, etc), and graciously left a little gift basket for us as well! They were able to walk us through the house at check-in, which was very helpful. They including a parking pass for parking at the beaches, which was needed because you'll want to drive a little bit south to Cove or Lafontaine Beaches for great sand and swims. We enjoyed the sunset at the marina, and would recommend a drive up to Eagle Cove for a great sunset, too. Be sure to also bring water shoes because the entryway into the water is a bit rocky at all beaches. Evenings were great at the house as we partook of their video collection, and were surprised by how well we enjoyed popping in an old VHS again! We were a bit worried about internet signal since the house does not come with Wifi, but their signal amplifier seemed to do the trick and we had little issues connecting to 4G LTE. Everything on the Tiny peninsula is within a 30-minute drive, so be sure to check out the sights and food in Penatanguishene and Midland as well. The only negative comment to leave is that while the AC did a great job cooling the main living room/kitchen area, it did not quite reach back to the bedrooms, which remained a bit warm throughout the night. This was during a hot summer week in August, though, so I'm sure it is more comfortable when the temperatures are a bit cooler. Cheers!

Beautiful spot, wonderful owners

This house is minutes from a beautiful rocky beach and just a few mins drive from at least 5 other beaches. Property is clean and well appointed. Only thing we missed was a dryer bc we got several rainy days. Owners made us feel very welcome and treated us like family. They were always accessible by phone or text. Tiny is a beautiful community full of things to do. 10/10 would recommend

Home away from home in cottage country

We went with our young children and my in-laws and all had a great experience. The place had all the amenities of home with the cottagey feel. The big screened in front porch was great for hanging out and meals. The owner was very friendly and always accessible. Provided all of the information we needed to help enjoy our stay. Great location, near a few different beaches. We rode our bikes to the beach each day and the kids loved it. Good backyard for playing and a nice fire pit area. First time to Tiny Township and we’ll be back again.

Lovely Stay at the Tiny House

The house was excellent - the front porch made for perfect meal times, and the big back yard with the fire pit and the BBQ was very cool. The beaches near-by are all great in their own ways, and needless to say, the kids spent much of their time in the water. Also, the host/owner was very attentive and informative. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rest and relaxation

Spacious and clean country home located a short distance from a lovely beach (bring water shoes for comfort from the stones). Many other beaches are a short drive away. The front screened in porch is a lovely area to enjoy meals and other activities. Highly recommend to couples or families.

Family beach getaway

Nice relaxing week away. The place had everything we needed. We really enjoyed riding bikes to the local beaches. Sheri was a very helpful and responsive host and made our stay easy and comfortable.

We purchased the house in Tiny Beaches to enjoy the variety of beaches and water of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay as well as the nature of the Simcoe forest. We also enjoy the community of Tiny Beaches and the nearby town of Lafontaine with its French heritage and the surrounding farmland. a short drive conveniently located in Midland and area are many the amenties, sightseeing attractions and nature attractions - main street shopping, grocery stores, drugstores, Huronia VIllage, Muskoka boat tours, Elmvale zoo, drive in movies, Nature Trails, restaurants and much more. Extensive tourist information is provided in the Welcome Guest Book provided.

Why they chose this property

The perfect combination of spacious accommodation on one level and a forty foot screened in porch so that you can enjoy being and eating outdoors and not have to worry about insects. The front porch is also a save place for kids to play and allow parents to relax.

The Tiny Beaches Country House is less than a fiive minute walk to three different beaches on Lake Huron and the walk is along beautifully treed roadways passing by a variety of newer and older style cottages and homes.
