This upside down barn conversion on a working farm in Newbiggin-on-Lune sleeps four people in two bedrooms.
Old Byre Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on a working farm in Newbiggin-on-Lune. The cottage has two ground floor bedrooms; a king-size double which can be a twin on request, and a room with bunks. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, while upstairs is an open plan living area leading to a raised patio. As well as the patio guests have use of the shared grounds including a play area, and there is off road parking. Old Byre Cottage is an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, playing 'farmer' or simply relaxing.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Private raised patio area accessed via 1st floor living area with furniture and BBQ. Shared paddock with children’s play area. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pubs 2 miles. Note: Washing and drying facility available through owner.
