Mallard Lodge has spectacular far reaching views over 7 acres of private rural grounds and the surrounding fells which can be enjoyed from the covered hot tub, patio or gardens surrounding your real wood cabin.

Mallard is situated close to the wildlife pond so you can be sure to see plenty of red squirrels, mallards, heron and rabbits as they visit this beautiful area.Children take delight in running around the grounds, exploring the private woodland and playing on the playground and parents can look on with drinks on the porch whilst enjoying the sunset over the fells. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome too.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at mallard Lodge and would definitely recommend. The weather was awful but expected in January but it didn't stop the kids fun. Lots of places to see. Great walks. Was wonderful to return to a warm, cosy lodge and a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Not fantastic TV reception or WiFi but we were there to escape all that. Anything we needed help with, selina was only a call away. We are looking forward to visiting again. X

Hi Janine Thank you for your review, lovely to meet you all. So pleased you and your family had such a good time irrespective of the challenges the weather is throwing at us this year.
