Ideal location near the districts of the historic center, on the hill of Santana. Very close to the historic districts (10 minutes on foot): Bairro Alto, Chiado, Graça, Rossio and Alfama. Soft decoration (renewed 2020) quiet street with little car traffic and very typical. Lots of typical and inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood. Finer choice in nearby neighborhoods. Ideal for a relaxing and touristic holiday, ideal for a couple or a family of 4 people.

Such a beautiful, authentic suite and building. The location was perfect for our needs. Far enough from the city center, but close enough to walk. Our host, Marisa was very kind and thoughtful. We needed for nothing. Small stores to purchase water and food on both sides of the doorway.

Great place and location the host was very accommodating as our flight was delayed and we arrived very late and she made the time to meet us and show us our home for the next few days, can’t thank her enough!

Lisbon Stay

Property met all of our needs. Centrally located allowing easy walking distances to most areas. Lisbon is all hills and stairs be prepared. Subway system was a breeze to use as well.

Nice stay!!

No words enough to say how nice was Marisa’ place and how nice and sweet was she during our stay. We loved everything! She is so helpful and polite! Very satisfied. Hope to come back someday again.

Lovely stay

Great apartment. Safe, comfy and well located. Good restaurants nearby. Lovely helpful host. Be aware the hill to the apartment from Rossio square is steep but not impossible. If you don't want to walk up the hill walk from Rossio square to the lavre funicular especially if you have a daily travel card.

Nice place!

Nice place, clean with air conditioner. Near downtown, but one must "climb" a lot of steps to get there. Marisa, the owner is excellent, very kind and always willing to help and clarify information.

Absolutely wonderful !!

My wife and I were very impressed with this apartment. Our host was very nice and helpful. The apartment was very spacious and had all the elements to make us feel at home. So much better than staying in a hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance to historic sights and restaurants. The Lavra funicular was very useful at the end of the day going back up the hill. Excellent value and would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Very comfortable accommodation

Loved our stay in Marisa’s apartment. Spent 2 weeks and were very comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax after a long day sightseeing. Yes it’s high up on a steep hill but we just used Uber to drive us up after a long day for 3€ it was no problem. There is a lovely lookout/garden just around the corner which is great and supermarkets close by for groceries. Marisa is lovely and lives close by if any issues. Great stay….thanks Marisa for sharing your lovely apartment. If we come back we’d stay again for sure.

Perfect Apartment - Well Situated

We stayed 6 nights at Marisa's perfect little Lisbon apartment. It is well-appointed with everything you need to get started on a restful Lisbon getaway. Kitchen is great, living area bright and the shower/bath is excellent. The apartment is located just above Rossio Square and within walking distance to some lovely restaurants and the entire downtown area. We felt comfortable and safe everywhere we went. Marisa was an excellent host, responsive and very helpful. Don't be daunted by the hills, they aren't so bad at all and they justify those extra calories! We revommend this spot highly.

Bright airy and comfortable

Very nice space. The entry area was a seperate room to dump your stuff. From the entry, you have a door to the bathroom, one for the laundry room, one to the bedroom and one more to the living/kitchen/dining area. Very well equipped. The shower is nice with good water pressure. The bed was too firm for my taste but it appeared very new. The neighborhood is a bit busy but not too bad. The first night, the neighbor next door on the first floor had a party on the sidewalk but it was just the one night. We did really enjoy the space and found it a relaxing stay.

Great Location, nice place, very quiet

My adult daughter, niece, and I stayed 4 nights in Marisa's appartement. We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and very centrally located in historic Baxia district. The train station to Sintra is 8 walking minutes away, Metro and Russio 6 Minutes, Alfama 15 minute walk, and shops and little restaurants are right on our street, supermarket 8 walking minutes. Mattresses (bed and the pull out couch in the living room) are firm, but comfy for us, just keep that in mind if a soft bed is important to you. We loved the little details, for instance the welcome basket with fruit and a bottle of wine. We loved listening to the 4 Fada CDs on the CD player. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Marisa was very helpful and always answers our questions promptly. She even ordered a Taxi to the airport (ride was only 9€!). I would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'appartement de Marisa qui est fonctionnel, propre et très bien placé Malheureusement le lave-linge ne fonctionnait pas, mais il devrait être bientôt réparé.Quelques petits points à améliorer : la porte coulissante de la douche ferme mal, le support du pommeau de douche ne se règle plus, le lavabo est petit et le volet roulant de la chambre ne se ferme pas complètement sauf en le faisant claquer très fort. Marisa nous a très bien accueillis et nous a donné des conseils utiles. Elle nous a permis de laisser nos valises le jour de notre départ afin que nous puissions profiter encore un peu de Lisbonne. Marisa est à l'écoute et disponible, c'est très appréciable ! Muito obrigada !

Nice City Apartment

The Apartment is perfectly located to visit the main city and most of the highlights of Lisboa. Very clean and in a traditional design. We really felt like being guests in Portugal. Marisa is a very nice host and enabled us to check in flexibly due to our arrive from Sintra.

Wonderful apartment in Lisbon

Marissa was a pleasure to deal with. The apartment was immaculate, well-equipped and laid out perfectly for two people. It’s in a great area on a narrow side street within walking distance of many spots. Marissa was kind enough to leave in the fridge a nice bottle of wine and a large bottle of water to start our stay as well!
