The Knowe Lower is a ground floor cottage set in the village of Taynuilt and can sleep four people. There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a gas fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a shared lawned garden with furniture. The Knowe Lower is a lovely ground floor holiday cottage. Please note: This property can only accept check-ins on a Friday.
Amenities: Electric heating with focal point electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with FreeSat, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 min walk. A beautifully refurbished restaurant and pub is just a short stroll away less than 100 metres. Note: There is a stream running round the lawn and there is a wall with a 2 ft. drop near the lawn, children to be supervised. Note: Mobile reception can be intermittent. Please note: This property can only accept check-ins on a Friday. Please note: Short breaks are accepted, but they cannot extend past a Friday Check-in day

We had a lovely two week stay during our time at the Knowe Lower (they owners even dropped off a welcome kit for our pup). The pictures are accurate, and the flat very comfortable and homey. The flat was spacious and quiet, the only sounds being the occasional sound of steps from the occupants in the Knowe Upper flat, and the rain. The flat is well equipped, and we were able to cook meals, do laundry and watch the tele when the weather wasn’t cooperative to hikes. There is a great pub down the road and a very well stocked grocery store across the street, and several great dog friendly walks in town that take you to views along the water. From Taynuilt it is easy to visit Oban (there is a train 3 min walk from the flat that gets you to Oban quite quickly), the islands, Glencoe, and all of the beautiful castles and glens surrounding the area. Great food at inns nearby also made this trip so memorable.
