Welcome to Traverse City's Village at Grand Traverse Commons! This industrial-chic style 3 level loft condo is in Building 50 (the main building) of the historic Grand Traverse Commons. Striking tall windows and skylights bring in an abundance of sunshine! Custom furniture adds interest and charm. The Village at Grand Traverse Commons has everything you need in one place!

The first floor features a kitchen, coffee station (Keurig available), half bath, and comfortable sitting area with in-unit WIFI with Smart TV. The spiral staircase leads to an additional sleeping/ loft area, that overlooks the main floor as well as out the amazing original dormer windows. The spacious third floor features a master bedroom with a queen bed, pull out sofa/sitting area, Smart TV, makeup station and a full bathroom. This condo is unlike others in the area, offering both a spacious feel and a historic setting.

The loft is decorated with custom made furniture, crafted from locally sourced materials including repurposed bowling lane tables & natural live-edged wood slab tables.

A few things to note:

• The Building dates to 1886 and the condo was renovated in 2007.
• There is common walkout patio off laundry room that is welcome to guests
• The floor's communal laundry room is approximately 60 ft from unit off of the main hall ($5 laundry card provided. Please leave in unit upon departure).
• The third level, master bedroom, has direct access to an elevator offering easy access without using the stairs!
• The three floors are all open to each other and this unit is a true studio! Please reach out with any specific questions.

The Neighborhood:
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons is nestled within 480 acres of preserved parkland and is a natural setting for recreation and outdoor activities, as well as shopping and dining.

Getting Around:
Walking is a great option as The Grand Traverse Commons has so much to offer. Downtown Traverse City is roughly 2 miles away.

Other Things to Note:
Condo Rules & Regulations:
1. No pets in any rental of less than 6 months
2. No smoking anywhere in the building, units, balconies, or within 15 feet of the building and steps. "Smoking" shall include the inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying of any lighted cigarette, cigar or other tobacco product, marijuana, vaping, or illegal substance."
- This is a strictly non-smoking property, including all indoor and outdoor areas.
3. Quiet Hours: 9pm-8am – Including balconies and hallways.
4. Noise should remain at levels considerate of neighbors next to, above, and below the source at all times.
5. Trash/garbage: Owners and renters are required to remove all trash/garbage to the outdoor containers or dumpsters located near the building. Trash shall not be placed in the hallways or laundry rooms. Recycle bins are located in the laundry rooms for your convenience.
6. No parties or events that may create a noise disturbance or nuisance.
7. Parking: Only one temporary parking permit per rental, per stay. This parking pass allows the guest to park in any of the Mercado parking lots. Any additional cars can be parked further from the building.
8. Do not share elevator code with anyone not staying in the unit. Visitors and food delivery must be met downstairs.
9. Limit rental guests to 2 adults per bedroom plus 2 additional people.
10. Bikes and baby strollers and other personal belongings are prohibited from the residential hallways and porches. Shoes, boots, skis, or snowshoes must be placed on a non-permeable mat or tray capable of collecting water and debris.

Check-In: Is at 4pm (Early Check-in is not possible due to our cleaning crew needing to complete their work)
Check-Out: Is at 11am (We are unable to accommodate late check-out, our cleaning service will arrive at the house promptly at 11 AM.)
*Please note when booking you will incur the following charges under Required Fees:
- Processing Fee: 3%
- Cleaning Fee: $100
In addition, you will also be charged with a security Deposit of $500 fully refundable within 14 days of your stay, as long as no damages occur.

What makes this property unique

Please note while this is listed as a 1 bedroom, this is a loft apartment where both rooms are open to each other. You will find great separation as there are 3 floors. 1st floor is the common area, 2nd floor will offer a twin bed, and third floor you will find the queen bed, and an additional sitting area (with a pull-out bed) and the option for us to provide an air mattress. 
This unit is great for families! However, we caution families with young children as the unit contains a spiral staircase and railed loft areas. If you have questions on this or would like to discuss further, do not hesitate!
