We loved our stay here! Beautiful, clean, well equiped. We loved being able to easily walk downtown for dinner and shopping. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Host was excellent with communication. Will book again when we return to TC.
Great location, perfect for two. The only suggestion would be a free standing closet or additional sturdy hooks rather than decoratve shelf in main room. Otherwise a great stay in Traverse City. Thank you. I will recommend your charming Victorian!
Charming historic house close to the historic shops in the renovated State Hospital as well as breweries and restaurants downtown. The host was very prompt and helpful with communicating.
First time booking here and I had an absolutely incredible experience. I stayed for 6 nights with my fiancé. The property has everything one would need. Extremely clean, updated utilities, everything you need is in stock, very gorgeous historical interior with a nice back area and a fire pit. Host is very professional and responsive. It’s also within walking distance of downtown and right by Grand Traverse Commons so it’s extremely convenient if you’re running errands downtown and need to stop at the house to drop something off without letting it sit in the heat. My fiancée and I are set on booking here every year for our yearly trips here. I absolutely recommend this, especially for anyone wanting to stay within walking distance of downtown. It’s great to see people still handling business well like this. Would rate 6 stars if I could!

My dad was moved to Munson Hospital and this property was right across the street - just had to walk across the parking lot to get to the main building. It was just what I needed.
A nice place for two. Although the room was directly across from the hospital, traffic and ambulance sirens wer not an issue. A nice pied-à-terre in TC
We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very clean and has a pleasant scent. Everything you need is pretty much there, and the backyard is lovely. Location is basically perfect. Host was easy to contact. Give this place a try :)
The house is actually 3 small apartments. The unit we we in was a single queen bed, small kitchenette and bathroom with a shower stall. The good: It was clean and everything worked that we needed to use. We did have to provide our own toilet paper and paper towels, but there was the leftover rolls to start with. No towels at first, but someone dropped off some while we were out. I didn't ask for them. However the towels were brand new and not washed, so they left fuzz all over the place, bad enough that we had to continously lint roll ourselves to get it all off. We did bring our own towels for the beach, so we just used those. After arriving we received the cleaning instructions, everything was easy and straight forward, but one comment stuck out "put the linens by the back door, but leave the blankets on the bed" this tells me that they don't wash the blankets regularly, if at all. So beware. The bad: The mattress on the bed was absolutely terrible, I travel for work a lot, I've never had one this bad. It was like sleeping on a taco or canoe. Every movement was felt, to the point that I decided to sleep on the sofa, which wasn't comfortable either, but ten times better than the bed. Also we stayed 3 nights, the first two, we had no "neighbors" in the other units. The last night we had some on the side unit, and the upstairs unit. The walls are paper thin, we heard EVERYTHING! It wasn't that the neighbors were being loud, it was how sound traveled through the house.
My daughter and I enjoyed this property. Great location downtown in a beautiful neighborhood that was close to all the action but quiet enough to relax. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed, comfy bed and well equipped cute compact kitchen. It is a duplex so you do hear some noise from the other tenants but that was not a issue for us. Good communication from the owner also. The perfect place for a weekend get away in Traverse City for two!
Very nice and roomy studio apartment style place. Kitchen and bath separate from bedroom. Nice location only a few minutes from downtown. Only complaint is there are two units in the building and the sound travels through the walls very easily. Also, the other unit is not a studio and it utililizes the upstairs, above the bedroom. Every footstep and floorboard creak can be heard. Other than that, great place!
The place was gorgeous, nice upgrades and decor, but don't plan on getting to sleep until after 2am thanks to the upstairs tenants laughing and stomping and pounding and playing what sounded like a piano !! and the thin walls / floors..... won't stay here again or recommend, sorry.
You had no control over the situation. We could not ignore the noise of the “I arrived at my 21st BD. and it’s time to party”. We were awaken from 10 pm to 430 am knocking on the neighbors door. LET ME IN! Over and over again.
This house is in a perfect central location and has tons of charm. The house was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Only reason this was not a 5 star stay, is due to the driveway not being plowed when we arrived. The property manager responded right away, however the driveway did not get plowed until the following day. Otherwise our stay was wonderful!
My partner and I had a lovely stay here. It's quiet and peaceful. The space has some intricate details to it. It's very cozy and comfortable with the convenience of a full kitchen and plenty of space.
