We had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful, tastefully decorated unit that was impeccably clean. Communication with the host was easy and it was cool to stay in this historic building!
We truly enjoyed our winter getaway to Traverse City. Our stay at the condo in the Commons was excellent. It’s a great place for 2 people to relax and refresh. We will stay again.
We hated to leaveHistoric Hearth! It is perfect in every way. So peaceful and beautifully decorated with tall ceilings and tall windows to let in the light and the tree-lined view. Carrie has thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable, from kitchen supplies to toiletries to 2 luggage racks to an interesting book to learn about the history of the building. It is a bit removed from the tourist area (which we loved) but only a 5 minute drive to the main streets and local beaches. It is also a 30-45 minute drive to wineries, golf courses and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The area around the condo (all walkable) has several great restaurants from coffee shops to a brunch spots to an award winning Italian restaurant (we went to Trattoria Stella twice during our stay!). I am so glad we found this great place to start our Michigan road trip. If we have an opportunity to return to the area, we will certainly stay here again. P.S. Also recommend Slabtown Burgers a few blocks away for a great burger with local dried cherries (of course!) and grilled onions - sooo good!
Perfect amount of space for a weekend getaway in Traverse City. Lots to do on site and also very close to downtown. Would recommend to friends and family.
Its the perfect place to go for a city focused trip. Being within 10 minutes of my favorite winery on old misson and everything else almost a walk away was exactly what i was looking for. I will consider staying here the next time. Views were beautiful
Attended a conference in the same building — ideal situation!
