Great for Family Trip!

Walking distance to the beach, we loved gathering together for a family vacation here! The place was clean and with the multiple rooms and bathrooms, it was perfect for a group. We would definitely recommend!

Nice house for our family! 6 adults and 4 kids age 3-12 were comfortable. Easy walk to the beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Not close to major grocery or restaurants so come prepared. We had a wonderful time together.

Great stay

The property was nice and location is very convenient. We has a minor issue with the fridge, but got sorted out right away, owner sent someone to look at it. Except for the couch that is very outdated and that needed to be change, but did not really bother us, and the cleanliness of the place is not 5*, but it is a cozy house and the access to the beach is close enough to walk, overall our whole family had a good time and was comfortable. Rooms are huge and spacious, living room and other areas of the house is big enough for us family of 10.

We loved everything about this place!! The house was lovely It stayed cool at night even though it was really hot outside very close to the beach an all over beautiful property. We will definitely recommend and be coming back ourselves soon... Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice quiet getaway

My family of 9 enjoyed our time in this house. We had plenty of room and space. Wish the outdoor shower would've worked to clean off after the beach. One balcony showed a fan, but there were no blades to use the fan. Be prepared to provide your own soap for dishes, detergent for the dishwasher and you'll want to bring TP as they provided the bare minimum. The beds were comfy. The living room furniture looks like its seen better days.

Great property close to the beach.

All in all a great house in a great location. Lots of space to enjoy. Some maintenance needed on faucets in the kitchen and kid’s shared bathroom where only a hot water handle remained in the broken sink.

Nice weekend in good place!!

We spent a very nice time with the family on the occasion of our 50th wedding anniversary. The house is large, comfortable and clean. The beach is close, also well-kept, nice. Our suggestion for the future - the kitchen needs a few basic things like spices, a little coffee and salt and pepper!! And the sofas - although leather - very dirty and worn. Overall, we recommend the place and the house to other guests!!

Great place to stay on vacation

The house was nice and cool even in the Texas Heat. The walk to the beach is not far, and the private beach area is big enough to be away from other parties. If you like having multiple pillows, I would bring extra and a bigger blanket if you get cold easily. I would make sure to get all your groceries planned out and bought, the drive to Galveston is long just for groceries. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Great loxarion

Just a short 2 minute walk to the beach for our family thanksgiving . Has problems with the internet, information was wrong on the checkin email. Great response from the manager, however, internet dogged all week. Don’t try to work using their internet. That was a disaster. Also, it’s advertised to sleep 10, but only and dishes for 8! And very few drink glasses. Also, it’s November and there were not adequate blankets for the beds, which btw, need to be replaced! Overly soft and rolls into the middle But the living area was grest for our family and the location couldn’t be better

Not As Good Second Time Around

First let me start off by saying we still had a good time even with the inconveniences but there were some issues that they need to get fixed. We we first checked in the first floor was fairly cool but by the night the A/C went out. We tried to tolerate it on Saturday but when it got to be 85 degrees inside the kitchen area we had to call maintenance. They sent someone out but he couldn't fix it. That meant that we had no A/C in the house for Friday night and Saturday night. By Sunday they sent another person out and they were able to fix it, so we were able to have A/C on our final night for Memorial Day weekend. The kitchen faucet handle was broken and they sent someone out to try and fix it. They tried to Super glue it but the handle just kept popping off so we just worked around it by being creative. Unfortunately, the Internet was bad. It kept going in and out, mostly out. Our entire party just gave up trying to use the Internet. They need to get a system that allows more bandwidth. We really love the location of the house and we made it work but they need to put some loving care into the home. Our party still had a great time since most of our time was down at the beach. We appreciated having a grill available so we could cook steaks. I will say the management tried hard to work with us in getting the issues resolved. It was just unfortunate that the A/C went out on a holiday weekend.

horrible experience

Avoid Vacasa-managed rental properties. Initially, we booked through Vrbo, but had to deal with Vacasa's poor management and lack of communication. Hurricane Beryl hit Texas two weeks before our check-in, and despite several reassurances from Vacasa that our original property was fine, it turned out the owners were living there. This led to us being relocated twice. The final property, Coronado's Getaway, was a disaster. It was filthy with sand on the floors, dirty dishes and counters, filthy bathrooms, and couches different from the photos. There were dead roaches everywhere, no face towels or hand soap, and sand in all the beds. We had to wash all the linens ourselves. We all had bedbug bites. We ended up spending the first night of our stay cleaning the unit, essentially paying to clean it for them. I informed Vacasa about the state of the property before we left, and their call center representative promised a call from a local office, which never came. Instead, I received an email offering a $50 reimbursement for the unclean unit, which was insulting given the conditions. I called Vrbo to escalate the issue, provided them with pictures, and demanded a full refund. Despite their efforts, Vacasa gave us a partial reimbursement. Dealing with Vacasa was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and unacceptable property conditions make them a company to avoid. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from Vacasa.

Wife's Birthday Weekend Getaway

What a great property in an amazing community. Very clean and very spacious with great views. Very short walk down the private dock to the beach. We loved the no cars area for the beach. This kept the crowds away and made it feel like we had the beach all to ourselves. The property is well kept and the community is very clean and quiet. Just a short drive to all things Galveston. We had a perfect getaway and we have this on our list to visit again.

Short walk to the beach

Nice neighborhood and close to the beach. WiFi didn’t work our entire stay which was a huge inconvenience as I wanted to work a few hours. Customer service was notified and I was told someone would come out and repair it, nobody showed up. The fridge didn’t cool as it should and there was mold on the ceiling next to the AC vents in one bedroom upstairs. Overall I would stay in this area again just not in this rental.

It was a dirty house that was not maintained. Blood on blankets, rotten milk in the cupboards and terrible beds. Management came and cleaned, but had to call twice. No compensation for any of our inconveniences-
